1.Diagnosis and prognosis evaluation of 18F-FDG PET/CT in bone marrow infiltration of lymphoma
Journal of International Oncology 2016;43(5):395-397
18 F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (18 F-FDG PET/CT) and bone marrow biopsy (BMB) have high consistency in the detection of lymphoma bone marrow infiltration (BMI).18F-FDG PET/CT has a high sensitivity to Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) and aggressive non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) BMI,while the sensitivity of indolent NHL is low.Since 18F-FDG PET/CT may appears false positive or false negative,so it can not replace the conventional BMB.We can carry out a BMB under the guidance of 18F-FDG PET/CT,which can greatly improve the detection rate of BMI.
2.In vitro biological properties of gradient strontium-containing hydroxyapatite bone cement
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2013;(47):8149-8154
BACKGROUND:Strontium-containing hydroxyapatite bone cement can improve the crystal inity and compatibility of the materials, but the effects on celltoxicity, cellsurface adhesion, proliferation and expression stil need further studies. OBJECTIVE:To observe the in vitro cytobiological properties of gradient strontium-containing hydroxyapatite bone cement.
METHODS:Four groups of strontium-containing hydroxyapatite bone cement samples were prepared at a strontium content of 0%, 1%, 5%and 10%. Six paral el samples selected from each group were subjected to ultraviolet radiation sterilization for 3 hours for standby. Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium containing 10%fetal bovine serum served as extraction neurotransmitter. Strontium-containing hydroxyapatite cement powder was mixed with extract solution at a ratio of 1 g to 10 mL. L-929 fibroblasts and osteoblasts from immature rabbits were selected and identified. Scanning electron microscopy was used to observe the adhesion and proliferation of osteoblasts on the surface of gradient strontium-containing hydroxyapatite cement, and cellviability was detected using alkaline phosphatase activity method.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1) Cytotoxicity of different amount of strontium-containing hydroxyapatite cement was graded 0 or 1, suggesting the cytotoxicity of each sample was certainly associated with strontium content, reaction time, and extract concentration. (2) Hydroxyapatite bone cement containing a certain amount of strontium can promote osteoblast adhesion, proliferation and expression and improve the dissolution kinetics and biodegradability of materials, becoming more in line with the clinical requirements. But there is stil lack of long-term results.
3.Clinical observation of the treatment of ischemic heart failure with combination therapy esmolol and labetalol
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2016;23(9):1329-1332
Objective To study the effect of intravenous injection of esmolol, labetalol and their combination in the treatment of ischemic heart failure (ICD).Methods 80 patients with ICD were randomly divided into treat-ment group 1 (20 cases),treatment group 2(20 cases),treatment group 3 (20 cases)and control group(20 cases). The treatment group 1 was intravenously given esmolol on the basis of routine treatment.the treatment group 2 was intravenously given labetalol on the basis of the conventional treatment.the treatment group 3 was intravenously given esmolol and labetalol on the basis of routine treatment. The control group only received routine treatment. The thera-peutic effects of the four groups were observed and compared, and the changes of blood pressure, heart rate, walking distance and ultrasonic electrocardiogram before and after treatment were recorded. Results In the treatment group 1,3 cases with marked effect, effective in 14 cases, the total effective rate was 85%.In the treatment group 2,2 cases with marked effect, effective in 14 cases, the total effective rate was 80% cases. In the treatment group 3,4 cases with marked effect, effective in 15 cases, the total effective rate was 95%.In the control group,1 case with marked effect, effective in 10 cases, the total effective rate was 55%.The treatment effect of the treatment group 1,2,3 was better than the control group (P <0.05).The treatment effect of the treatment group 1,2 was significantly lower than the treatment group 3 (P <0.05).The treatment effect between the treatment group 1 and group 2 had no significant difference (P >0.05 ).After treatment,6 min walking distance and LVEF,FS,SV and other indicators of cardiac function were significantly improved in the four groups (P <0.05 ).The four groups had no significant adverse reactions such as nausea, vomiting, liver and renal function after treatment. Conclusion Intravenous injection of esmolol, labetalol or both drugs for treatment of ICD can improve cardiac function, with no adverse reaction, and it is safe and reliable, worthy of clinical application.
4.Angiopoietin-1 and regulation of vascular permeability
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2000;0(10):-
Angiopoietin-1 (Ang-1) is a newly-found endothelium-specific proangiogenic factor and it had been proved essential roles in both vasculogenesis and angiogensis. Among them, its anti-leakage ability may have great potential applications in clinical treatment of vascular hyper-permeability in a variety of diseases such as cancer, diabetic retinopathy, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma. In this review, some research progresses focused on this aspect are discussed. [

7.Progress in methodology of establishing physiologically based pharmacokinetic models.
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2014;49(1):16-22
Physiologically based pharmacokinetic model (PBPK), a mechanistic mathematic model, which can simulate the absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of drugs, is being more widely used in pharmaceutical research and development areas. This article reviews primarily the recent advances in the procedure of establishing a PBPK model, including specifying of the PBPK model structure, specification of the tissue model, writing of equations, set of model parameters, simulation and evaluation. Application significance, major challenges and future developments of PBPK model in pharmaceutical areas are also discussed.

The Journal of Practical Medicine 2014;(12):1864-1866
Objective To investigate the effect of EGB on SOD, MDA of ventilator-induced lung injury in rats and its possible mechanisms. Methods Thirty male SD rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: control group (C group), high tidal ventilation group (H group) and EGB group (E group). The setting mechanical ventilation was VT=30 mL/kg, RR=40/min, I/E=1/3, PEEP=0 cmH2 O and FiO2=21%. The broncho-alveolar lavage fluid (BLAF) and serum were obtained for determination of the levels of SOD and MDA at the end of 4 h mechanical ventilation. The Lungs were removed, and the wet-to-dry weight ratio (W/D) and pulmonary pathologic changes were measured. Results As compared with C group, W/D and the levels of MDA were significantly increased in H group, but the levels of SOD were reduced in H group. As compared with H group, W/D and the levels of MDA were significantly decreased in E group, but the levels of SOD were increased in E group. Pulmonary pathologic changes were alleviated in E group comparing with H group. Conclusion EGB injection may have a protective role against hyperoxia and induced pulmonary damage in rats.
