1.Research on EAP teaching model in medical university based on the concept of CBI (Content-based instruction)
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2015;(8):787-790
CBI (Content-based instruction) , integrating the content and language, can be used to guide teaching EAP (English for academic purposes). Main Teaching Models based on CBI (Content-based instruction) include immersion model, theme-based instruction and content for language practice. EGAP (English for general academic purposes) curriculum can be set up in medical universities in the second and third academic years, such as medical integrated course, medical listening & speaking course, medical writing course. ESAP (English for specific academic purposes) curriculum can be set up in the fourth and fifth academic years, such as clinical English, nursing English and stomato-logical English. Theme-based instruction can be applied in medical integrated course and listening&speaking course, including creating situation to lead in the theme, assigning tasks to experience the theme, setting topics to deepen the theme and giving assignment to explore the theme. Content for language practice model can be applied into medical writing course, such as teacher's demonstrating and explaining, students' absorbing and imitating and mutual evaluating. Immersion model can be used in ESAP (English for specific academic purposes), such as choosing typical cases to teach in English, teaching ward round in English, doctor-patient communication in English. Preliminary practice was carried out for one year, experimental class with theme-based instruction and content for language practice model, and control class with traditional teacher-centered teaching model. At the end of the practice, they were given the same test and questionnaire, it was found that CBI teaching models facil-itated to improve the students' English level and also enhanced their study motive and independent study ability.
2.Investigation on Legal Regulation of Commercial Genetic Testing
Chinese Medical Ethics 2017;30(8):940-944
The commercial gene test is a kind of detection service different from genetic diagnosis in medical institutions. There is no specific legislation on gene discrimination and genetic information security related to it.This paper adopted the method of comparative study to sort out the related legal issues of commercial gene test, and put forward the regulation ideas and scheme.

Objective To investigate the dynamic expression of Nogo-A receptor (NgR) in the hippocampus following focal cerebral ischemia in rats. Methods The focal cerebral ischemia model was established by electrocoagulating the right middle cerebral artery in rats. The expression of NgR in the ischemic hippocampal CA1,CA2 and CA3 regions at different time points after cerebral ischemia were detected by immunohistochemical staining. Results The expressions of NgR were up-regulated in hippocampal CA1 and CA2 regions at the first day,in the CA3 region at the second day after cerebral ischemia; the expressions of NgR in the CA1 and CA2 regions at the fifth day was decreased to the lowest. The expressions of NgR was up-regulated again in the CA1 and CA2 regions at the 28th day. Conclusions The NgR expression in the hippocampus in ischemic side showed different change characteristics at different regions, however, the overall change trend showed a 2 peaks and a valley phenomenon, which indicated that NgR might have different functions at different time periods after cerebral ischemia.

Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(6):406-408
The Aurora kinase family of serine/threonine kinases plays an important role in chromosome alignment, segregation and cytokinesis during mitosis.Overexpression of Aurora kinases has been observed in a variety of human solid tumors and hematological malignancies.Aberrant expression of Aurora kinase can interrupt the function of the checkpoint in mitosis, lead to instability of genetic substance and induce tumorigenesis.

AIM: To establish a method of simultaneously determining ginsenoside Rg1,ginsenoside Re and ginsenoside Rb1 in Tangniaole Granule (Radix Trichosanthis, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng Rubra, Rhizoma Anemarrhenae, Radix Astragali, etc.). METHODS: Three components: ginsenoside Rg1, ginsenoside Re and ginsenoside Rb1 in Tangniaole Granule were determined simultaneously by HPLC, using a Diamonsil C_ 18 ( 4.6 mm?250 mm, 5 ?m), acetonitrile-water as a mobile phase. The detection wavelength was at 203 nm. RESULTS: The relationship among the concentrations and the peak areas of ginsenoside Rg1, ginsenoside Re and ginsenoside Rb1 were linear respectively. The RSD of precision, stability, repeatability and recovery were all less than 3%. CONCLUSION: The method is simultaneous determination for three components in Tangniaole Granule, and can be applied to the quality control of Tangniaole Granule.

Objective To explore the impact of physical activities on adolescents' external problem behaviors and the mediating effect of self-esteem.Method The physical activity rating scale(PARS-3),Achenbach adolescent self rating scale,Rosenberg self-esteem scale and adolescent physical self-esteem scale were used to investigate 419 participants selected from middle school students in Beijing. Results Adolescents who participated in physical activities with moderate amount showed less external problem behaviors.Adolescents who participated in physical activities with large amount appeared to be of more self-esteem.Both self-esteem and body-esteem showed partially mediating effects between physical activities and disciplinary offence. Conclusion Adolescents conducting moderate amount of physical activities can enhance their self-esteem,and ultimately reduce the incidence of their external problem behaiviors.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a rapid and accurate method for the identification of Lycium barbarism.METHO-DS:The Lycium barbarism in different processing method was studied in respect of 1 000-seed weight, acidity and basicity,UV spectra and TLC etc.RESULTS:Striking differences were noted between Lycium barbarism and Sulfuring Lycium barbarism in 1000-seed weight and all the other indexes.CONCLUSION:UV and TLC were proved to be simple and reliable methods for the identification of Lycium barbarism, which thus can be considered as the quality control methods for Lycium barbarism and its Chinese patient drugs.

Chinese Journal of Perinatal Medicine 1998;0(02):-
Objective To study the hemorheology,platelet-activating and hemostasis of severe asphyxiated newborns. Methods Erythrocyte filtration index(IF) ,granule membrane glycoprotein (GMP-140),D-dimer(DD) and yon Willebrand factor(vWF) were measured in 60 severe asphyxiated term newborns and 20 healthy term newborns. The effect of platelet-activating-factor (PAF) antagonist-EGb761 were also obserred. 60 term newborns with severe asphyxia were divided into two groups :treatment group(n= 30) and control group(n = 30). Results During the first day of life the IF,GMP-140,vWF and DD of the severe asphyxiated newborns increased significantly compared with those of healthy newborns(P0.05). Conclusion 1. Severe asphyx iated newborns vary in hemorheology,platelet-activating and hemostasis, which leads to disturbance of microcirculation and organ injury. 2. PAF plays a role in the pathophysiologic process, and PAF antagonist can improve the microcirculation of severe asphyxiated newborns.

Objective To assess the safety and feasibility of hybrid trans-gastric endoscopic and laparoscopic cholecystectomy in a porcine model. Methods A total of 6 pigs underwent hybrid trans-gastric endoscopic and laparoscopic cholecystectomy from July to October,2010 under general anesthesia. The operation time and complications during the procedure were recorded,as well as post-operative changes of eating habits and weight.Animals underwent autopsies on post-operative days(POD)14 for evaluation of infection, abscesses and adhesion. Results All procedures were successfully performed and all dogs survived. There was no severe complication except for hemorrhage in one porcine, which was successfully managed under laparoscopy. The mean operation time was 87mins(ranging from 69-124 mins). After the operation, there was no change in eating habits or weight. At autopsy on POD 14,no abscess or hemorrhage was found.Sites of gastric closure were found to be completely healed. Conclusion The hybrid approach increases the safety of initial gastric puncture and gastric wall incision, simplifies peroral trans-gastric cholecystectomy, and decreases invasiveness of laparoscopic surgery. It is a bridge between laparoscopic and transluminal surgery.
