Objective:To investigate the use of simple pooling and bivariate model in meta-analyses of diagnostic test accuracy (DTA) published in Chinese journals (January to November, 2014), compare the differences of results from these two models, and explore the impact of between-study variability of sensitivity and specificity on the differences. Methods:DTA meta-analyses were searched through Chi-nese Biomedical Literature Database (January to November, 2014). Details in models and data for four-fold table were extracted. Descriptive analysis was conducted to investigate the prevalence of the use of simple pooling method and bivariate model in the included literature. Data were re-analyzed with the two models respectively. Differences in the results were examined by Wilcoxon signed rank test. How the re-sults differences were affected by between-study variability of sensitivity and specificity, expressed by I2 , was explored. Results:The 55 systematic reviews, containing 58 DTA meta-analyses, were included and 25 DTA meta-analyses were eligible for re-analysis. Simple pooling was used in 50 (90. 9%) systematic reviews and bivariate model in 1 (1. 8%). The remaining 4 (7. 3%) articles used other models pooling sensitivity and specificity or pooled neither of them. Of the reviews simply pooling sensitivity and specificity, 41(82. 0%) were at the risk of wrongly using Meta-disc software. The differences in medians of sensitivity and specificity between two models were both 0. 011( P<0. 001, P=0. 031 respectively). Greater differences could be found as I2 of sensitivity or specificity became larger, especially when I2 >75%. Conclusion:Most DTA meta-analyses published in Chinese journals(January to November, 2014) combine the sensitivity and specificity by simple pooling. Meta-disc software can pool the sensitivity and specificity only through fixed-effect model, but a high proportion of authors think it can implement random-effect model. Simple pooling tends to underestimate the results compared with bivariate model. The greater the between-study variance is, the more likely the simple pooling has larger deviation. It is necessary to increase the knowledge level of statistical methods and software for meta-analyses of DTA data.

Objective To investigate methods and experience of autologous granular fat transplantation by correction of aging face. Methods 178 cases of aging face subjects were treated by liposuction. Then autologous granular fat was harvested by liposuction,centrifuged and purified, and injected into marked areas of aging face. The injection process should be controled by multilevel and multiple tennel, in order to supplement the loss of facial soft tissue volume and improve the aging face. Results The follow-up period ranged from 3 months to 3 years. All the subjects had a satisfactory results with no obvious complications such as fat liquefaction, infection and ulceration. The effect of autologous granular fat transplantation was obvious and permanent. Conclusions Autologous granular fat transplantation is a safe and effective surgical technique for facial soft tissue augmentation that can effectively improve aging face and worthy of clinical application.

Objective To investigate correlation between the results of drug susceptibility and the extent of drug-resistances in Mycobacterium tuberculosis clinical isolates. Methods Liquid culture and MTT test were used. Twelve anti-TB drug MICs and drug susceptibility testing of the 163 MTB strains from random clinical isolates were detected, which including RFP, INH, SM, EBM, OFLX, LVFX, MOX, AMK,CPM, PTA, CLA and PAIN. Results There are 67% (42/62) Mycobacterium tuberculosis strains resistant to SM, 63% (51/81) Mycobacterium tuberculosis strains resistant to INH, 77% (50/65) Mycobacterium tuberculosis strains resistant to RFP, 41% ( 15/37 ) Mycobacterium tuberculosis strains resistant to AMK,41% (12/29) Mycobacterium tuberculosis strains resistant to CPM, 20% (12/60) Mycobacterium tuberculosis strains resistant to EMB and 43% (25/58) Mycobacterium tuberculosis strains resistant to OFLX which MICs were equal to or more than 16 μg/ml, 8 μg/ml, 8 μg/ml, 16 μg/ml and 4 μg/ml, 4 μg/ml and 8 μg/ml,respectively. There were significant differences in the MICs of OFLX, LVFX and MOX in OFLX resistant strains (2-128, 1-32 and 0.0625-1 μg/ml, respectively) by ANOVA ( F = 16.874, P ＜ 0.001 ). The MICs of SM, INH, RFP, EMB, OFLX, AMK and CPM in isolates resistant to six or seven drugs (0.5-128,2-64,0.25-128,1-32,1-64,0.5-128 and 1-128 μg/ml,respectively) were higher than those (0.25-128,0.0625-64,0.25-32,0.25-2,0.125-2,0.5-4 and 1-4 μg/ml,respectively) in isolates resistant to one or two drugs (F=20.066, 40.499, 47. 197, 70.373, 91.432, 41.840 and 21.547, respectively, P ＜0.05). The MICs of SM, INH, RFP and EMB in isolates resistant to four drugs (1-128,2-64,0.25-128 and 1-32 μg/ml,respectively ) were higher than those ( 0.25-128,0.0625-64, 0.25-64 and 0.25-2 μg/ml,respectively) in isolates resistant to one or two drugs (F = 26.242, 23.563, 31.541 and 64.469,respectively, P ＜0.05).The MICs of RFP in MDR isolates (2-64 μg/ml) were higher than those (0. 25 μg/ml) in other resistant isolate except M DR isolates (F = 5.613, P <0.05). Conclusions The study shows that there are associations between the results of routine drug susceptibility testing and the resistant extent of anti-TB drugs. This could help doctors select more effective anti-TB regimen for TB patients according to the correlations.

Objective To observe the free radical scavenging action of volatile oil from Piper longum L.growing in Hainan Province and to explore the relationship of the action with molecular structure.Methods 1,1-Diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl radical(DPPH) method was used to determine the scavenging action.The components of volatile oil were analyzed by GC-MS,and their molecular structures were identified by databank.Results(1)The volatile oil from Piper longum L.had scavenging actions on free radicals in a concentration-dependent manner.(2)Forty one compounds were found in volatile oil from Piper longum L.growing in Hainan Province,in which the amount of carbon-carbon double bond(C=C) was in predomination.Conclusion Carbon-carbon double bond(C=C)is the essential functional group for free radical scavenging action of volatile oil from Piper longum L.

Aim To explore whether the polypeptide vaccines CKL9 and YL20 can induce immune response and anti-tumor effect on HER-2 (+) tumors in vitro and in vivo, and to provide suggestions for clinical use.Methods The proliferation of specific lymphocytes and cytotoxic T lymphocyte activity(CTL) stimulated by CKL9 and YL20 were studied with CCK-8 assay and LDH assay, and the antitumor activity of CKL9 and YL20 was evaluated in vivo.Results The lymphocyte proliferation was promoted by incubation with CKL9 and YL20, and the relative increase of cells was 11.1% and 16.7% respectively at the concentration of 50 mg·L-1 of CKL9 and YL20.The LDH assay confirmed the CTL effect induced by CKL9 and YL20 on HER2-positive tumor cells, not on HER2-negtive tumor cells.With an effector-target ratio of 80 ∶1, the inhibition of tumor cell by cytotoxic T lymphocyte stimulated by CKL9 and YL20 could reach 89.8% and 84.3%, respectively.The HER2(+) tumor cell N87 transplanted in Babes mice was inhibited by pre-immune polypeptide CKL9 and YL20.Conclusion The HER2-specific polypeptide vaccines CKL9 and YL20 could induce persistent specific CD4 and CD8 T cell immune and inhibit the growth of HER2 positive tumor cells.

Objective To establish a method of judge the pyrazinamide(PZA) susceptibility for Mycobacterium tuberculosis(MTB) with 24-hole micro-liquid culture silica gel color plate,and evaluate the clinical application value of this method.Methods According to the result of MGIT960,to detect PZA drug susceptibility for 30 MTB clinical isolates of whose PZA susceptibility were known with silica gel color plate.The effects of different pH value,different inoculation concentrations on the results were observed,and the optimum detection conditions were discussed.Finally,the 98 MTB clinical isolated of whose PZA susceptibility were unknown were simultaneously detected by gel color plate and MGIT960,the sensitivity,specificity and accuracy were judged by PZA drug sensitivity.Results The best pH was 5.8-5.9 and the best concentration was 2.5×10-1 mg/mL in gel color plate.The best results were read after 7-14 d.The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy were 95.50%,96.30%,and 98.21% respectively just at PZA critical concentration was 100 μg/mg.The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy were 90.90%,92.59%,and 91.84% respectively just at PZA critical concentration was 200 μg/mg.Conclusion The PZA susceptibility for MTB with 24-hole micro-liquid culture silica gel color plate is accurate,rapid,low-cost and simple.

Objective:To investigate the clinical application value of nano-carbon tracer technology in lymph node dissection and postoperative pathological examination in laparoscopic mid-low rectal cancer resection.Methods:Fifty-two patients with mid-low rectal cancer were randomly divided into experimental group (n=27) and control group (n=25).Before surgery,the Nano-group were injected nano activated carbon suspension liquid under the mucosa.Both groups were accepted the same principles of open colorectal cancer radical surgery.The total number of lymph nodes,number of tiny lymph nodes,number of black dye and number of metastasis lymph node confirmed by pathology in the two groups were statistical analysised.Results:There were 905 pieces of lymph node seized in two groups toally,including (20.67 ± 5.751) medals in Nano-carbon group and (13.88 ±4.466) medals in control group.Lymph node number in nano carbon group was more than control group (P＜0.01).Nano-carbon group seized 113 tiny lymph nodes,significantly higher than 49 in the control group (P＜0.05).The metastasis rate of lymph node was no significant difference in the two groups (P＞0.05).Nano-carbon group seized lymph node metastasis was no significant difference in the rate of the control group (P＞0.05).Nano-carbon group seized 341 black dyed lymph nodes and 217 not black dye lymph nodes.And 67 cases of metastasis lymph nodes in Black dye lymph nodes,15 cases of metastasis lymph nodes in not the black dye lymph nodes.The metastasis rate of black dye lymph node was higher(P＜0.01).Conclusions:Nano-carbon tracer technique can guide the surgeon to accurately lymph nodes dissection during the operation,and can add to the number of lymph nodes in the postoperative surgical specimens,improve lymph nodes in patients with colorectal cancer radical seized quantity.Nano-carbon tracer technique can ensure the accuracy of the pathological staging,there was important clinical significance to lymph node dissection in Mid-low colorectal cancer,which provide an important basis for the development of postoperative adjuvant therapy programs.

Objective To investigate the effect of different adjustment methods (occlusion) in dental implant repair. Methods 96 cases of patients with dental implant repair treated in our hospital from June 2015 to February 2017 were selected as the research object and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group with 48 cases in each group. The biting surfaces of the patients were reduced in the observation group, but the patients in the control group were treated with the original adjustment methods (occlusion). The bite balance and masticatory function of the two groups were evaluated at 3 months and 6 months after repair respectively. The occlusal balance was set up by computer to set the X and Y axes, and the X-axis and Y-axis values of the two groups were monitored. And measured the molars asymmetry index(AMOF), to calculate the ratio of each tooth occlusal force, and the larger the AMOF value, the more asymmetrical the bite force is. Chewing function score of 10 points, the higher the score that chewing better. Results Compared with the control group, the indexes of occlusal balance in the observation group at 3 months after repair were significantly increased (P＜0. 05), and at 6 months after repair, the AMOF (P＜0. 05). Compared with the control group, the scores of chewing function in the observation group at 3 months and 6 months after repair were significantly increased, there was statistical difference between the two groups Significance (P＜0. 05). Conclusion The effect of biting surface reduced (occlusion) in dental implan.

Objective To discuss the clinical application value of microplate allochroic silica gel assay for rapidly detecting rifampicin(RIF)-resistance of Mycobacterium tuberculosis(MTB).Methods Fifty MTB clinical isolates preserved in the tuberculosis(TB) laboratory of Nantong Municipal Sixth People's Hospital were detected RIF-resistance by using the microplate allochroic silica gel assay and compared with the Bactec MGIT960 method.Then,the RIF susceptibility test in 40 clinical sputum smear-positive specimens were simultaneously detected by using the microplate allochroic silica gel assay and Bactec MGIT960.Finally the sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of the test results were compared.Results The optimal inoculation volume of MTB was 10-3 mg/mL,the optimal detection time was 7-10 d and the judging critical value of the RIF minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC) Was 1.00 μg/mL by microplate allochroic silica gel assay.With the Bactec MGIT960 test as the gold standard,the sensitivity,specificity and accuracies of microplate allochroic silica gel assay for RIF-resistance susceptibility test of smear-positive specimens were 94.12％,100％ and 97.37％ respectively.Conclusion Microplate Allochroic silica gel assay can be used for directly detecting the MTB sensitivity to RIF of in sputum specimens.

Objective: To review current-era palliation outcomes of patients with heterotaxy and functional single ventricle in a single institution. Methods: The clinical data of 70 consecutive patients with heterotaxy undergoing multistage single ventricle palliation in Guangzhou Women and Children′s Medical Center from January 2008 to December 2017 were retrospectively reviewed, and the prognosis factors for mortality were analyzed. There were 53 male and 17 female patients.The median age was 13.3 months (range: 6 days to 150 months). Single ventricle multistage palliation included 1^st stage palliation surgery, 2^nd bidirectional Glenn shunt, and 3^rd stage modified Fontan.The Kaplan-Meier method was used to estimate the probability of survival. Multivariate analysis was performed by Cox regression model. Results: Sixty-two patients had right atrial isomerism while eight had left atrial isomerism. Eighteen patients (25.7%) required the first stage palliation. Fifty-five patients received the Glenn shunt, and the Fontan procedure was completed in 27 patients. Overall, mortality occurred in 17 patients (24.3%) including 9 after the first stage palliation, 6 after the Glenn shunt, and 2 following the Fontan procedure. Survival estimates for the entire cohort following surgery were 81% (95%CI: 72% to 90%), 74%(95%CI: 64% to 85%), and 74% (95%CI: 64% to 85%) at 1 year, 5 years and 10 years, respectively. Survival estimates following the first stage palliation were 56% (95%CI: 33% to 79%) and 49% (95%CI: 26% to 73%) at 1 year and 5 years, respectively. Multivariate Cox regression analysis revealed that total anomalous pulmonary venous connection (TAPVC) (HR=6.16, 95%CI: 1.65 to 22.95, P=0.007), atrioventricular valve regurgitation more than moderate (HR=3.81, 95%CI: 1.32 to 10.94, P=0.013) and required the first palliation surgery (HR=4.58, 95%CI: 1.34 to 15.72, P=0.016) were prognosis factors for overall mortality. Conclusions The management of heterotaxy patients with functional single ventricle remains challenging, and the outcomes are continously improving in china. TAPVC, atrioventricular valve regurgitation more than moderate and required the first palliation surgery still are prognosis factors for overall mortality in heterotaxy syndrome.
