Objective The aim of present study was to explore the effects of plateau hypoxia on the cyanide ion metabolism and correlative toxicant mechanism. Methods 12 adult rabbits and 72 male SD rats were randomly divided into two groups separately:plain control group with NaCN intoxication and plateau NaCN intoxicant group.2mg/kg NaCN was subcutaneously injected into the back of rabbits, the femoral vein blood was then collected at different designated time points for the measurement of cyanide, hemoglobin and ferrihemoglobin concentrations.Meanwhile 3.6 mg/kg NaCN was subcutaneously injected into the back of rats, the cardiac blood and the hepatic tissue were then collected at the different designated time points for the determination of cyanide ion, cytochrome oxidase activities and for the detection of pathologic changes of hepatic tissue. Results Under the condition of plain and plateau environments, the pharmacokinetics of rabbits induced by NaCN injection was characterized by one-compartment model. The blood cyanide concentration of rats in both plain and plateau groups reached peak value at 30min,and the activity of cytochrome oxidase decreased.Furthermore, the pathologic diagnosis of rats hepatic tissue suggested that liver injury induced by NaCN intoxication at high altitude was more serious than in plain intoxicant. Conclusion Hypoxia could markedly disturb the metabolic process of NaCN in vivo, aggravate the inhibition of cytochrome oxidase activity and lead to serious pathologic injury.

The method for detecting the negative terms in Chinese electronic medical record (EMR) is useful in providing evidence for constructing concept index. In this respect, we adopted an improved method which combined maximum matching with mutual information in order to extract terms in EMRs. This method can overcome the influence of overlay ambiguity. In addition, for the determination of negative semantic, we also adopted an improved method which combined rule-based method with word co-occurrence. This new method can reduce the probability of appearance of false positive terms caused by punctuation input errors. The result showed that the negative predictive value is 7.85% higher than the rule-based method.

Clinic expert information provides important references for residents in need of hospital care. Usually, such information is hidden in the deep web and cannot be directly indexed by search engines. To extract clinic expert information from the deep web, the first challenge is to make a judgment on forms. This paper proposes a novel method based on a domain model, which is a tree structure constructed by the attributes of search interfaces. With this model, search interfaces can be classified to a domain and filled in with domain keywords. Another challenge is to extract information from the returned web pages indexed by search interfaces. To filter the noise information on a web page, a block importance model is proposed. The experiment results indicated that the domain model yielded a precision 10.83% higher than that of the rule-based method, whereas the block importance model yielded an F₁ measure 10.5% higher than that of the XPath method.

COVID-19 is caused by the 2019 novel coronavirus, which is characterized by hidden onset, long incubation period, and high contagion. The study found that the COVID-19 not only attacks the respiratory system, but also affects other systems such as the heart, kidney, and digestive tract, and could be combined with multiple system diseases such as acute cerebrovascular disease. If doctors, especially non-infective or respiratory doctors, do not pay great attention to the patient when they are receiving patients, and take good care of them, they may easily cause their own infection. This article summarizes the case of a concealed onset COVID-19 patient with cerebral infarction, which caused a medical staff infection after intravenous thrombolytic therapy, explores its clinical characteristics, treatment process and analyzes its prevention and control links to help the epidemic situation. In the prevention and control, the first-time doctor should pay attention to identification, reduce missed diagnosis, and scientific investigation to reduce occupational infection.

International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2020;43(3):226-230
Objective:To study the relationship between compartmental kneeosteoarthritis (KOA) and osteoporosis (OP).Methods:A total of 118 KOA patients with 50~80 years old and 16.5~38 of body mass index (BMI) were selected as the KOA group, in which the patient with OP caused by secondary factors were excluded. 42 patients who did not suffer from KOA who matched the age of patients in the KOA group were selected. The age, BMI, bone mineral density (BMD) and other data of the two groups of patients were collected. The correlation analysis between KOA and OP was conducted to determine the degree of correlation, so as to reveal the relationship between the incidence, progression, prognosis of KOA and OP.Results:BMD was correlated with BMI. BMD was negatively correlated with age. The incidence of KOA and OP was correlated with age. There is a large correlation between KOA and OP, and the probability of KOA associated with OP is high. For KOA patients, OP is less likely to be accompanied by a higher BMI, while OP is more likely to be accompanied by a lower BMI.Conclusions:OP is one of the pathogenic factors of KOA. KOA patients should be treated with anti-OP before and after surgery.
