1.Quality Evaluation with randomized controlled trials on Acupuncture and Moxibustion Treating Depressive Neurosis

Objective To assess the current situation and quality of clinical randomized controlled trials(RCTs) designed for accessing the treatment of depressive neurosis with acupuncture and moxibustion. Methods Relative clinical research literatures published from year 1980 to 2008 were collected, and composed into "evaluation to all literature of acupuncture and moxibustion treating depressive neurosis message table", according to the clinical epidemic disease and EBM. The quality evaluation on these trails were performed. Results There were altogether 15 articles included in this study. Among them, 5 articles used the correct randomized controlled trials (33.3%), 10 articles used the diagnostic criteria (66.6%), 10 articles used excluded criteria (66.6%), 12 articles used the therapeutic evaluation criteria (80%), 4 articles used blind treals (26.7%), 5 articles reported quit cases (33.3%), and 9 articles reported the adopted statistical methods (60%)4 articles Conclusion The quality of RCT of acupuncture and moxibustion for depressive neurosis needs to be improved.
2.The value of 64-row helical CT multi-phase enhancement scan combined with angiography in the diagnosis of pulmonary mass

Objective To explore the value of 64-row helical CT multi-phase enhancement scan combined with angiography (CTA)in the diagnosis of pulmonary mass.Methods Two hundred and sixty-five patients with pulmonary mass confirmed by pa-thology were checked,analyzed the CT sign of multi-phase enhancement scan and the blood supply of pulmonary mass displayed by CTA.Results Lung cancer was mainly supplied by bronchial arteries,some by body arteries,the feeding arteries display rate of lung cancer group was significantly higher than that of benign disease group(P <0.05).CT enhancement peak value of lung cancer group was significantly higher than that of tuberculoma group,inflammatory pseudotumor group and hamartoma group(P <0.05), but no significant difference between hemanginoma group(P >0.05).Enhancement dynamic curves of lung cancer group was differ-ent from benign lesion groups:Lung cancer without obvious enhancement in pulmonary artery phase,CT value increased rapidly in aorta phase,120 s reached peak,and declined slowly in delay phase;CT value of tuberculoma was increased slowly without obvious peak;CT value of inflammatory increased gradually in pulmonary artery phase,90 s reached the peak;hamartoma was no obvious enhancement;Hemangioma enhanced rapidly after strengthening in the pulmonary artery phase,reached the peak at about 15 s,and then decreased slowly.Conclusion 64-row helical CT multi-phase enhancement scan combined with angiography have important clinical value,which can differentiate malignant mass from benign ones.
3.Plasma Targeted Metabolomics Analysis for Amino Acids and Acylcarnitines in Patients with Prediabetes, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, and Diabetic Vascular Complications

Background:
We hypothesized that specific amino acids or acylcarnitines would have benefits for the differential diagnosis of diabetes. Thus, a targeted metabolomics for amino acids and acylcarnitines in patients with diabetes and its complications was carried out.
Methods:
A cohort of 54 normal individuals and 156 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and/or diabetic complications enrolled from the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinzhou Medical University was studied. The subjects were divided into five main groups: normal individuals, impaired fasting glucose, overt diabetes, diabetic microvascular complications, and diabetic peripheral vascular disease. The technique of tandem mass spectrometry was applied to obtain the plasma metabolite profiles. Metabolomics multivariate statistics were applied for the metabolic data analysis and the differential metabolites determination.
Results:
A total of 10 cross-comparisons within diabetes and its complications were designed to explore the differential metabolites. The results demonstrated that eight comparisons existed and yielded significant metabolic differences. A total number of 24 differential metabolites were determined from six selected comparisons, including up-regulated amino acids, down-regulated medium-chain and long-chain acylcarnitines. Altered differential metabolites provided six panels of biomarkers, which were helpful in distinguishing diabetic patients.
Conclusion
Our results demonstrated that the biomarker panels consisted of specific amino acids and acylcarnitines which could reflect the metabolic variations among the different stages of diabetes and might be useful for the differential diagnosis of prediabetes, overt diabetes and diabetic complications.

5.Expression and function of microRNA-218 in hepatocellular carcinoma

Objective To study the expression level and function of micro RNA (microRNA)-218 in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) .Methods 46 cases of HCC surgery in the hepatobiliary surgery department of this hospital were selected and divided into the transfection group and nontransfection group .The expression ,proliferation and apoptosis of microRNA-218 and the expression level of B cell specific Maloney leukemia virus insertion site 1(Bmi-1) and cycling-dependented kinase 6(CDK6) in HepG2 cells were compared between the two groups .Results The expression level of microRNA-218 in HCC tissue was significantly lower than that in paracancerous tissues (P<0 .05);the microRNA218 expression level was closely correlated with the clinicopathological characteristics such as tumor size and TNM stage(P<0 .05);the HepG2 cell proliferation rates at 24 ,48 ,72 h after transfection in the transfection group were significantly lower than those in the nontransfection group(P<0 .05);the HepG2 cell apoptosis rate in the transfection group was significantly higher than that in the nontransfection group(P<0 .05);the Bim-1 and CDK6 expression levels after HepG2 cell transfection in the transfection group were significantly lower than those in nontransfection group(P<0 .05) . Conclusion microRNA-218 can suppress the proliferation of HCC cells and promotes HCC cells apoptosis by down-regulating the Bim-1 and CDK6 expression level in potential targets .
6.Effect of repetitive facilitative exercise on hand function of stroke patients with hemiplegic during recovery period

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of repetitive facilitative exercise (RFE) on the hand function of stroke patients with hemiplegia during recovery period. MethodsFrom January to December, 2022, 80 stroke patients with hemiplegia following hand dysfunction during recovery period in Beijing Bo'ai Hospital were randomly divided into control group (n = 40) and experimental group (n = 40). Both groups received routine rehabilitation, the control group added functional occupational therapy, and the experimental group added RFE, for four weeks. They were assessed with Fugl-Meyer Assessment-Upper Extremity (FMA-UE), Simple Test for Evaluating Hand Function (STEF) and modified Barthel Index (MBI) before and after treatment. ResultsOne case dropped down in the experimental group. After treatment, all the scores increased in both groups (|t| > 12.698, P < 0.001), and were better in the experimental group than in the control group (|t| > 2.302, P < 0.05). ConclusionRFE could promote the recovery of hand function and activities of daily living in patients with hemiplegia during stroke recovery period.
