Conclusion: The hippocampal neuroncs have not the autoregulative ability of the cellular volume. but astrocytes have after exposition to hypertonic-hyperoncotic solution for 15 min: the volume of both cells 7 days later can restore to the previous value.
3.MICROANATOMY AND SEM OBSERVATIONS OF INTRACEREBRAL VESSELS

Intracerebral vessels from 10 hemispheres of children were perfused with ABS and observed under the 6212-Ⅲ surgical microscope and TSM-Ⅰ scanning electron microscope.1. The arterial network of the pia mater shows irregular anastomoses. Many terminal branches in the meshwork do not form anastomosis but perforate into the brain tissue at right angle. Most of the points where the arteries perforate are longit udinally arranged along the gyri.2. The venous network of the pia mater usually lies deeper than the arteries and becomes superficial to the latter after joining together to form larger vessels.3. The cortical arteries have an average diameter of 44.3?m. They are densely distributed like hairs of a brush.4. The tributaries of the cortical veins join to form larger veins assuming the shape of an inverted fir tree.5. The medullary arteries are different in length and in diameter. The diameter averages 158.2?m. The arteries perforating through the top of the gyrus are straight but those from the sulcus bend to a certain degree after they pass through the cortex. Branches from the middle segments come out vertically and form "T"-shape branches. The deep segments send out branches like the roots of a tree and form widespread anastomoses with the central arteries. Wavy, tortuous medullary arteries can be also found. The casts of these arteries were observed under the SEM.The medullary veins and central arteries have been studied and described microanatomically.
4.Four changes of plasma D- dimer and coagulation in pregnant women at different stages of pregnancy and their value of test

Objective To observe and analyze the four changes of plasma D- dimer and coagulation in pregnant women at different stages of pregnancy, and to explore the value of the test. Methods The subjects of this study were 120 pregnant women who underwent routine physical examination in our hospital, according to different stages of pregnancy (early pregnancy, middle pregnancy, late pregnancy, and before delivery) Four D- dimer and four blood coagulation tests were performed in pregnant women, and the results were observed and compared. Results During the pregnancy, D- dimer has increase trend (P<0.05); early in pregnancy, pregnancy and late pregnancy, PT has shortened(P<0.05); pregnancy, APTT has shortened (P<0.05), at the end of pregnancy and parturient period, showing a significant shortening (P<0.05); phenomenon in early pregnancy to mid pregnancy stage, FIB increased significantly (P<0.05), and at the end of pregnancy to perinatal period, with a sharp increase (P<0.05). Conclusion It is of great significance to perform dynamic monitoring of of plasma D- dimer and coagulation four indices in pregnant women during pregnancy.
5.Mechanism of Lead Biosorption and Biotransformation in Lead-Resistant Bacteria by In Situ Synchrotron Radiation Micro X-Ray Fluorescence and X-Ray Absorption Near Edge Structure

To investigate the mechanism of lead biosorption and biotransformation in lead-resistant bacteria in microcosmic scale, synchrotron radiation micro X-ray fluorescence (μ-SRXRF ) and X-ray absorption near edge structure ( XANES) was used to determine the element distribution characteristics and speciation of lead ( Pb) in lead-resistant bacteria strain isolated from farmland soil samples taken from a lead-zinc mine in Lanping county, Yunnan province in China. The isolated species was identified to be Arthrobacter sp. The concentration of Pb biosorpted in lead-resistant bacteria was directly determined byμ-SRXRF, and the results showed that the highest concentration was 5925μg/g and the bioaccumulate factor was 14 . 8 . Speciation of Pb in lead-resistant bacteria B2, LB ( Lysogeny Broth) medium and soil were also presented after using Pb LⅢXANES. Compared with Pb LⅢ XANES peak shape and peak position between standard samples, it was demonstrated that the Pb in lead-resistant bacteria was mainly formed by amorphous forms like PbS (58. 0%), (C17H35COO)2Pb (22. 2%), Pb5(PO4)3Cl (19. 8%) rather than organic Pb speciation which was exist in LB medium. Therefore, the isolated lead-resistant bacteria could biotransform Pb to sulfuric compounds. The biotransformation regular could be of great interest for other investigators as reference in study of bioavailability impact factor of heavy metals.

8. Preparation and Optimizing Formulation of Simvastatin Tablets by 3D Printing

OBJECTIVE: To prepare simvastatin tablets and optimize its formulation by 3D printing technology. METHODS: A cylindrical tablet with a radius of 4 mm and a thickness of 4.8 mm were prepared by a 3D printer. The dosage of the adjuvant povidone 30(PVP K30), lactose/microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) and absolute ethanol were taken as an investigation factor, the cumulative dissolution rate of 5, 15 and 30 min were used as an evaluation index,and the central composite design-response surface method was used to optimize the formulation and verify, the effect of dissolution were researched by compared with the traditional preparation. RESULTS: The optimal formulation value: the ratio of PVP K30 was 30%, the mass ratio of lactose/MCC was 2.5, the ratio of absolute ethanol was 74%, and the cumulative dissolution in vitro of the printed tablets at 5, 15, 30 min was (45.7±0.5)%, (70.9±0.7)%, (89.7±2.3)% respectively, the deviation between the verification result and the predicted value were less than 5%. The preparation of dissolutioncurve is similar with commercially available formulations. CONCLUSION: The successful preparation of 3D printed simvastatin tablets is simple and the mathematical model is predictive.
9. The effects of ANGPTL4 gene on the growth of different HCC cell lines

Objective: To observe the effects of angiopoietin-like 4 (ANGPTL4) gene on the growth of different hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cell lines. Methods: The expression of ANGPTL4 was tested by reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction and Western blotting in 9 HCC cell lines and immortal liver cells. Huh-7 cells and MHCC-LM3 cells with low ANGPTL4 expression and MHCC-97L cells with moderate ANGPTL4 expression were transfected with fused ANGPTL4-GFP and empty pEGFP-N1 plasmids via Lipofetamine 2000, respectively. GFP-positive cells were screened with G418 and sorted by flow cytometry (FCM) to establish stable cell lines with over-expression of ANGPTL4, Cell array was prepared and Ki-67 fluorescent immunocytochemical techniques were used to detect in vitro proliferation of the three HCC cell lines. Xenografted tumor formation in nude mice was used to observe the effect of ANGPTL4 on the growth of the three HCC cells in vivo. Results: ANGPTL4 mRNA had low expression in Huh-7 and MHCC-LM3 cell lines, moderate expression in MHCC-97L cells, and high expression in Hep3B cells. The results of cell array showed that cell proliferation rate was lower in Huh-7 cells (P = 0.000 74), but higher in MHCC-LM3 (P = 0.073 08) and MHCC-97L (P = 0.011 52) cells with over-expression of ANGPTL4 compared with the cells transfected with empty plasmid. Over-expression of ANGPTL4 significantly inhibited xenografted tumor formation of Huh-7 cells (P = 0.001 10), but markedly promoted the xenografted tumor formation of MHCC-LM3 (P=0.057 50) and MHCC-97L (P = 0.018 91) cells in nude mice. Conclusion: ANGPTL4 plays different roles in the growth of different HCC cell lines, but the effects of ANGPTL4 on the growth of the same cell line was consistent in vitro and in vivo.
10.Current research status of vitamin D and thyroid cancer

Vitamin D participates in a variety of biological processes. 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D [1,25-(OH)2D]is the active form of vitamin D. Besides its classical role in bone and calcium homeostasis, 1,25-(OH)2D has many non-classical functions such as regulating proliferation and differentiation of cells in various tissues, including tumor cells as well. However, the role of 1,25-(OH)2D in thyroid cancer is not clear yet. There are three integral components of the vitamin D pathway in thyroid cells. These components are the vitamin D receptor, 1α-hydroxylase (CYP27B1), and 24-hydroxylase (CYP24A1). Differences in the expression levels of these components in normal thyroid tissue and thyroid cancer tissue may offer clues and lay the foundation for study of the inhibitory function in the pathogenesis of thyroid cancer.This review focuses on the insights gained in the elucidation of the role of 1,25-(OH)2D pathway in thyroid cancer, one of the most common endocrine malignancies.
