Objective To study the expression and significance of P57KIP2 in complete mole(CM ) and partial mole(PM).Methods The expression of P57KIP2 in histology unequivocal 45 cases of CM and 30 cases of PM was detected by immunohistochemistry method.Results In the PMs,expression of P57kip2 was strongly and continuously(30/34),in the CMs,it was absent or weak expressed (5/45).The difference of P57K1P2 expression between PMs and CMs was statistically significant( P ＜ 0.05 ).Conclusion P57KIP2 immunostaining is a sensitive sign of partial moleand in differential diagnosis of PM from CM and it is deserving of clinical application.

Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) play pivotal roles for monitoring the tumor metastasis and prognosis.The nanotechnology provides a favourable platform for CTCs detection,and enables CTCs to be more promising for practical application.Meanwhile,the nanoscale device by virtue of nanotechnology has broad application prospects in eliminating CTCs and offers a new direction in the field of anti-cancer.

Objective To compare the effects of bifidobiogen with enzyme inductor(luminal, nikethamidum) in treatment early neonatal hyperbilirubinemia. Methods 92 babies with early neonatal hyperbilirubinemia were divided into 2 groups, randomly. 49 patients were treated with bifidobiogen 350 mg/(kg. d) and phototherapy. Objective To study the DNA damage induced by dichloroacetic acid(DCA) and trichloroacetic acid(TCA) which are from drinking water disinfection by-products. Methods V79 cells and hepatocytes of mice were treated with DCA and TCA for 1 hour and then were tested by comet assay. After stained by EB, tail length of the cells were observed and counted under the fluorescence microscope. Results Both DCA and TCA could result in the increasing of average tail length of the treated cells whether they were V79 cells or hepatocytes of mice and the dose-response relationships were seen. Conclusion Both DCA and TCA can cause DNA damage of mammalian cells and this may be related to the carcinogenic mechanism. DCA and TCA belong to genetic carcinogens.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the utilization status and the developmental trend of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAIDs) in our city.METHODS:NSAIDs used in two hospitals in Anhui Tongling city during 2004～2006 were analyzed statistically in respect of drug varieties,DDDs and consumption sum.RESULTS:The DDDs of NSAIDs increased,up 7.07% year on year. The consumption of NSAIDs increased by 4.15% in 2005,but decreased by 4.94% in 2006.New type NSAIDs had a great increase in consumption sum.CONCLUSION:The utilization structure of NSAIDs in our city is expected to remain stable in the coming several years,but great attention should be paid to the ADR of NSAIDs.

Objective To investigate the significance of clinical nursing pathway in perioperative period of children with hypospadia.Methods 63 cases of hypospadia children patients were randomly divided into the control group (30 cases)and the experimental group (33 cases).The traditional nursing method was used in the control group,while the clinical nursing pathway was used in the experimental group.Results The hospital stay,hospital charges and complications of the experimental group were less than the control group.The satisfaction degree of the experimental group was higher than the control group.There was significant difference.Conclusions Clinical nursing pathway is a safe and effective nursing model.It can shorten hospital stay,reduce hospital charges,decrease complications,and improve patients' satisfaction degree.

Quantum dots (QD),a kind of nanocrystal,are made from Ⅱ-Ⅵ or Ⅲ-Ⅴ group elements.It has been reported that compared with current conventional fluorescent markers,QD have excellent optical properties such as strong fluorescence,photochemical stability and can be used for simultaneous multi-channel imaging.Meanwhile,as nanoparticle,QD can be easily surface modified with a variety of biological molecular and can reach cancer cells easily by penetrating the tumor angiogenesis.Therefore,QD have unique advantages in targeted real-time visual imaging of in vivo tumor and have great prospects in the individual diagnosis and treatment of tumor.However,the long-term biosafety after QD into the body still needs further study.

Quercetin is the major bioflavonoid in the human diet and can be ubiquitously found in nature.Studies have suggested that quercetin has many biological activities and clinical applications such as antioxidant,anti-inflammation, anti-tumor effects. This article reviews recent advances in its anti-oxidation mechanisms, protective effects on oxidative stress-related diseases, and other applications.

OBJECTIVETo observe the clinical efficacy of BO's abdominal acupuncture for obese type-2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).

METHODSSixty patients of obese T2DM were randomly divided into an acupuncture group and a medication group, 30 cases in each one. Patients in the medication group were treated with basic treatment combined with oral administration of regular antidiabetics, three weeks as one session. Patients in the acupuncture group, based on the medication group, were treated with abdominal acupuncture at Yinqiguiyuan [Zhongwan (CV 12), Xiawan (CV 10), Qihai (CV 6), Guanguan (CV 4)], Fusiguan [Huaroumen (ST 24), Wailing (TE 5)], Tianshu (ST 25), Daheng (SP 15), Qixue (KI 13), etc.; the treatment was given three times per week, 3 weeks as one session. The systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), body weight, waist circumference (WC), hip circumference, body mass index (BI) were observed before and after treatment in the two groups, and fasting plasma glucose (FPG), fasting insulin (FINS), 2-hours postprandial blood glucose by oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) and insulin, total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), HOMA-IR of insulin resistance index were calculated and adverge events were recorded.

RESULTSCompared before the treatment, SBP, WC, body weight, BMI, FPG, OG-TT2hBG, FINS, GTT2h insulin, HOMA-IR, TC and LDL-C in the acupuncture group were all significantly reduced (all P <0. 05), while FPG, OGTT2H insulin and TG were increased in the medication group (all P<0. 05)'. The differences of reducing SBP, WC, FPG, OGTT2H insulin, HOMA-IR, TC, TG and LDL-C were statistically significant between the two groups (all P<0. 05). The total effective rate was 93. 3% (28/30) in the acupuncture group, which was significantly superior to 23. 3% (7/30) in the medication group (P<0. 01).

CONCLUSIONBO's abdominal acupuncture has obvious clinical efficacy for obese type-2 diabetes mellitus, featuring in lowering blood pressure, reducing weight, decreasing blood glucose, im- proving insulin resistance and lowering lipid, which has no adverse effects and is worthy of clinical popularization and application.
