Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2013;(4):412-414
Improving medical students' legal quality is not only the requirements of modern education and their self-improvement,but also the needs of reform on medical system in the new era and establishment of a harmonious relationship between doctors and patients.Medical universities should carefully integrate the existing law education resources and establish three staged teaching model (stages of basis law education, health law education and stage of comprehensive improvement) when being fronted with the education model which is unilateral, sporadic and lack of cohesion in order to improve the law quality of medical students.
3.Signiifcance of epileptiform discharges in anti-epileptiform drug therapy and prediction of relapse Reviewer
Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2013;(8):788-790
EEGs performed for new-onset seizures show epileptiform discharge in approximately 18% to 56% of children and 12%to 50%of adults. EEG is the most commonly used means of neurological examination for epilepsy. Speciifc EEG abnormalities help characterize the seizure type and epilepsy syndrome, which allows more informed decisions regarding therapy and more accurate prediction of seizure control and ultimate remission. In certain cases, the EEG may detect more subtle seizures, including absence, myoclonic or partial seizures. In the therapy of epilepsy, the effect of different antiepileptic drugs on the inhibition of epileptiform discharges is different. Epileptiform discharges play a very important role in the prediction of recurrence and the decision to remove antiepileptic drugs.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(04):-
Objective To investigate the induced expression of indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase in epithelial cells of cultured human proximal renal tubule under the stimulation of interferon-?(IFN-?)in vitro. Methods The expression of IDOmRNA in epithelial cells of human proximal renal tubule under normal and different dosage or time of IFN-? stimulation were assayed by semi-quantitative RT-PCR,the expression of IDO protein under normal and 2000U/ml IFN-? stimulation for 24h were assayed by immunocytochemistry, and the activity of IDO under different dosage of IFN-? stimulation was assessed by the special kynurenine metabolizable ratio in culture medium detected by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).Results No expression of IDO mRNA or IDO was found in the epithelial cells of human proximal renal tubule under normal culture conditions.IDO mRNA expression increased significantly after IFN-? stimulation in a dose dependent manner compared with that of control group(P
5.Application of 16-slice CT angiography and image analysis in cerebral artery lesions
China Medical Equipment 2015;(5):75-77
Objective: To analyze the clinical value of 16-slice CT angiography techniques in cerebral artery lesions. Methods:Forty three cases in our hospital with suspected cerebrovascular disease who performed computed tomography angiography were retrospectively analyzed. Volumetric imaging, maximum intensity projection and multi-planar reconstruction technique for three-dimensional reconstruction process were used in post-processing. Results:There were 27 cases with no abnormal blood vessels, 6 cases with aneurysm, 1 with arteriovenous malformation, 8 with arterial stenosis and 1 with congenital abnormalities. The image quality analysis of cerebral vascular trunk and main branches was 100%performed in 43 cases. The location, shape, size, and the relationship with the surrounding blood vessels and skull of the aneurysm have been clearly shown, and the nidus, feeding arteries and draining veins have also been clearly shown. Conclusion:With the features of safe, fast, non-invasive and clarity in images, 16-slice CT angiography imaging technology can be used as the first choice of screening cerebral arterial disease.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(11):-
Objective A close relationship between atherosclerosis and plasma levels of advanced oxidation protein products (AOPP) has been demonstrated in patients with chronic renal failure. The present study was performed to investigate the effect of AOPP on human endothelial cells. Methods Human umbilical vein endothelial cell line ECV304 was incubated with different concentrations of AOPP-BSA, which prepared by combining BSA with HOCl at different molar ratios. Cell viability was measured by MTT assay. Intracellular production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) was evaluated kinetically using VICTOR Wallac 1420 mutilabel counter. Results AOPP-BSA decreased endothelial cell viability, which was dependent on the molar ratio of BSA/HOCl and the concentration of AOPP-BSA. AOPP-BSA also enhanced the intracellular ROS production in ECV304. AOPP-induced ROS production was correlated with the molar ratio of BSA/HOCl and the concentration of AOPP-BSA. Pretreatment of cells with a small molecular glutathione peroxidase mimic (ebselen) reduced AOPP-induced ROS production by 53% with preservation of cell viability. Conclusion AOPP decreased endothelial cell viability via induction of oxidative stress.

P2X7 is the most important subtype of the ATP receptors known so far. Recent investigations showed that the downstream signaling pathway of P2X7 is coupled with several key inflammatory molecules including IL-1beta and IL-18, this suggests P2X7 might have roles in the inflammatory diseases. Moreover, attenuation of P2X7 by selective antagonists in vitro and knockout mice in vivo reducing the inflammatory response indicated that P2X7 is a potential therapeutic target for inflammatory diseases. However, most previous studies on P2X7 were focused on nerve system diseases most, while its effects in inflammatory respiratory diseases, especially in asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and lung cancer have been poorly investigated. In this paper, we reviewed the research progress on the structure, distribution, biological activities of P2X7 and its relationship with inflammatory respiratory diseases including asthma, COPD and lung cancer, along with the development of P2X7 antagonist as therapeutics.
