Objective To build a method for determination of berberine, epiberberine, coptisine and palmatine in Shutongantai Capsules by HPLC.Methods Thermo C18 column (5μm, 4.0 mm× 250 mm) was used with acetonitrile-0.05 mol/L potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution (50∶50, 0.4 g sodium dodecyl sulfate was added in each 100 mL solution, to adjust the pH 4.0 with phosphoric acid) as mobile phase;the flow rate was 1.0 mL/min;detection wavelength was 345 nm;column temperature was 30℃.Results Berberine hydrochloride showed a good linear relationship in the range of 0.180 34-0.901 68μg (r=0.999 8).Conclusion The method is simple, accurate and reproducible, and can be used for the quality control of Shutongantai Capsules.

Objective:To investigate the efficacy of lauromacrogol injection for the treatment of post-operative breast cancer lym-phatic fistula. Methods:A mixture of lauromacrogol and air from the drainage tube was injected to the treatment group. The site of the residual cavity was bound with appropriate pressure for 24 h. The control group was treated with traditional methods. Results:The lym-phatic fistula of the treatment group disappeared after the mixture of lauromacrogol and air was injected to the patients. All of the 12 cases were subjected to a follow-up session. No recurrence of lymphatic fistula was observed. The differences between the treatment group and the control group were significant. Conclusion:The results revealed the efficacy of lauromacrogol injection for the treatment of post-operative breast cancer lymphatic fistula. Hence, this method could be applied for the preliminary treatment of lymphatic fistula.

Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2013;(11):61-62
Objective To establish a quality standard of Shutongantai Capsules. Methods Thermo C18 column was used with methanol-0.1% phosphoric acid as mobile phase. The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min, detection wavelength was 254 nm, and column temperature was 30 ℃. Results Emodin showed a good linear relationship in the range of 0.016-0.080 μg (r=0.999 6). Chrysophanol showed a good linear relationship in the range of 0.032-0.160 μg (r=0.999 8). Conclusion The established method is simple, feasible and reproducible, and can be used for the quality control of Shutongantai Capsules.

Objective To screen the proteins binding with HBV X-promoter and to investigate their potential role in the regulation of replication and expression of HBV DNA. Methods By using HBV X biotinylated promoter DNA as the selective molecule, the T7 select human liver cDNA library was biopanned and positive clones were selected. After screening, positive plaques were performed to amplify for inserted DNA fragment and cloned into pGEM-Teasy vector. Thirty positive plaques were chosen for DNA sequencing. Results Five kinds of known and nine kinds of novel cDNA sequences were obtained. The 5 kinds of known ones are human serum albumin, NADH dehydrogenase subunit 4, prokininase, ubiquitin specific protease 10, and testis enhanced gene transcript. Conclusion The binding proteins of HBV Xp DNA were identified by phage display. The results suggest that this approach provides a new search tool for the study of replication and expression mechanism of HBV DNA.

[Objective] To discuss the cure effect of conjunctiva valve combined with tarsorrhaphy and standardized medication on refractory keratohelcosis. [Method] Choose 37 cases with 37 eyes of the disease above, divide them into control group, n=17, and observation group, n=20; the control one take conjunctiva valve combined with tarsorrhaphy and routine medicine intervention; other group, standardized drug intervention instead of routine medicine. Observe the therapeutic effect after 6m. [Result] In observation group, 18 cases were cured(90%), 2 better(10%); for other group, they were 9(52.9%) and 4(23.5%) respectively, and 4 cases had no effect(23.5%). Comparing both cure effects, the difference had statistical meaning. [Conclusion] The conjunctiva valve combined with tarsorrhaphy could markedly improve the cure effect if intervened with standardized drug.

The informatization of traditional Chinese medicine resources is the basis of modern medicine. With a spatial attribute traditional Chinese medicine resources could be carried out for in-depth spatial analysis, data mining and traditional Chinese medicine resources regional industrial layout. In this paper, we took the data of Glycyrrhiza uralensis in the third national Chinese medicine resources survey as the experimental data, described the principles and structure of traditional Chinese medicine resources spatial information database. We also described the establishment of analysis model with the help of this spatial database.
