In order to compare the therapeutics of combined use of MMF with low dose of cyclosporine A (CsA) in renal transplantation, 16 cases were randomly divided into 3 groups:MMF 2.0g group receiving MMF 2.0g per day, MMF 1.5g group receiving MMF 1.5g per day,and Aza group. All the patients in the 3 groups were given the low dosage of CsA and steroid. The results showed that no patients in MMF 2.0g group experienced acute rejection. One patient (20%) in MMF 1.5g group occurred twice acute rejections. In Aza group 3 out of 5 patients (60%) experienced acute rejections. Six months after transplantation, serum Cr level and the used dose of CsA in MMF 2.0g group was obviously lower than that of Aza group. It was concluded that the combined use of 2.0g MMF per day with low dosage of CsA and steroid was safe and efficacy for renal transplanted patients. The clinical results of MMF 2.0g group were superior to those of Aza group.

Objective To study the effects of Tripterygium Hypoglaucum Hutch(THH) and its extract(THW-4) on neointimal formation of rabbit carotid arteries after balloon angioplasty. Methods After injury of the common carotid arteries was set up by balloon angioplasty, the rabbits were divided into 3 groups and were given different treatment protocol including gastrogarage of THH(n=9),associated gastrogavage of THH with local administration of THW-4 into the injured arteries(n=9) and 0.25% DMSO saline local administration as the control(n=9).Neointimal fomation was evaluated on days after the procedure by proliferating all nuclear antigen(PCNA) and Evans Blue staining, and quantitative histomorphometric analysis was performed on 28 days. Results The PCNA-positive index in the neointima at day 14 after the procedure was reduced in the THH gastrogavage group and the THH/THW-4 group compared with the control(17.68%?5.27%,6.60%?2.52% vs 40.37%?7.12%,P

Objective To investigate the anti-tumor effect and mechanism of Plumbagin against human large cell lung cancer cell line NL9980.Methods Plumbagin in different concentrations were set up to administrate NL9980 cell line.MTT test was performed to detect the inhibiting effects against tumor proliferation and IC50 concentration was identified. The influence of tumor apoptosis was observed by flow cytometry and the inhibiting effect against invasive ability was detected by Boyden chamber test.IC50 group and control group were set up and tumor cells were harvested 6 h,24 h and 48 h after administration.Realtime PCR was used to detect mRNA expression changes of bcl-2,bax,VEGF and CYCD1.Results MTT test showed obvious inhibiting effects of proliferation in NL9980 cell line and IC50 was 7.5 μmol/L.Plumbagin induced the apoptosis of tumor cells and showed a significant anti-invasive effect.Mean membrane-spanning cells were 161.59±47.32 and 26.58±9.07 in control group and IC50 group correspondingly.Down-regulations of bcl-2,VEGF and CYCD1 were detected and expression of bax gene increased. The effect of Plumbagin showed obvious time dependance (P <0.05).Conclusion Plumbagin has displayed the powerful antitumor effects against NL9980 cell line and it might work via multiple pathways.Plumbagin exhibits the prospect of being an effective drug against large cell lung cancer.

Objective To explore the influence of nursing intervention on the pocket infection and other related problems following CRT-D therapy in chronic heart failure patients. Methods The causes of pocket machinery burst and skin incision dehiscence, pocket bleeding or hematoma and pocket infection following CRT-D therapy from March 2008 to March 2011 were reviewed, then analyzing and summarizing them to work out a detailed nursing interventions plan.During April 2011 to June 2013,nurses carried out the nursing intervention on patients who accepted CRT-D implantation. At last we compared the occurrence of pocket machinery burst and skin incision dehiscence, pocket bleeding or hematoma and pocket infection during the period of 6 months after CRT-D therapy between the two groups. Results After the implementation of nursing interventions, the incidence of pocket infection and other related problems following CRT-D therapy in chronic heart failure patients reduced significantly. Conclusions The interventions such as rigorous preoperative skin preparation, eliminating the potential factors of infection, intraoperative strict aseptic operation, choosing the appropriate position of pocket, the implementation of interventions to prevent bleeding, meticulous and rigorous postoperative nursing, providing healthy knowledge sufciently and strengthening follow-up,finding problems and solving them timely can prevent the pocket machinery burst and skin incision dehiscence, pocket bleeding or hematoma and pocket infection following CRT-D therapy effectively.

Object To develop a new process for the extraction of camptothecin from leaves of Camptotheca acuminata Decne Methods By uniform experimental design after proper choice of solvent Results The optimal conditions were extraction with 16 times of 0 3% NaOH for three hours each time Conclusion This is the first attempt to use dilute NaOH solution for the extraction of camptothecin from the previously seldom utilized leaves of C acuminata, which resulted in a yield well over 0 1% The process resulted in a lower production cost and require less fire protection measures as compaired with the conventional use of alcohol
