[Objective]To study the regulation effects of Oridonin on pulmonary artery pressure in pulmonary hypertension rats with hypoxia-hypercapnia and its mechanism.[Methods]SD rats were divided in to three groups randomly: the normal control group(NC),the hypoxia-hpercapnia group(HH),and the hypoxia-hpercapnia plus Oridonin group(O).The time of hypoxia-hypercapnia was 4 weeks. The mean pulmonary artery pressure(mPAP),right ventricular rate(RV/(LV+S)),percentage of thickness of pulmonary artery wall in vascular external diameter(WT%),percentage of pulmonary artery wall area in total vascular area(WA%),vitality of caspase3 and caspase9,expression cyt-c of each group were observed.[Results]The mPAP,RV/(LV+S),WT%,WA% in group HH were significantly higher than those in group NC(P
2.Risk factors for renal scarring in children
Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2017;35(9):713-715
Renal scarring can cause hypertension, proteinuria, chronic kidney disease, and even end stage renal disease. To understand the risk factors of renal scarring in children is helpful for its early detection, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment. High grade vesicoureteric reflux, recurrent urinary tract infection, and delayed treatment are risk factors for kidney scarring. However, there are still some controversies about the relationship between renal scarring and the some factors such as gender, age, and congenital factors. Recent studies have found that noninvasive urine indicators such as urine neutrophil gelatinase associated lipid delivery protein, urinary endothelin-1, and risk prediction models can predict the formation of renal scar. However, prophylactic use of antibiotics can reduce occurance of urinary tract infections, but do not reduce the risk of renal scarring. This article reviews the possible risk factors and predictors of renal scarring in children, providing a basis for early detection, timely intervention, and effective prevention of it in clinic, so as to reduce the formation and progression of renal scarring.

4.Clinical study on the treatment of acne vulgaris with acupuncture by different methods of point selection
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2012;34(3):200-202
Objective To evaluate the treatment of acne vulgaris with acupuncture by different methods of point selection. Methods 51 cases of acne vulgaris were randomly recruited into local point selection group, distal point selection group and combination of local and distal point selection group.10 cases of healthy people were recruited for normal control group.Serum arachidonic acid (AA),free testosterone (FT),and sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) levels were observed in all treatment groups. Results After the treatment, serum AA was (20.56±5.28)μg/L,(18.86±5.70) μg/L and (14.62±3.06) μg/L,while SHBG was (333.31±87.96) nmol/L,(332.02±87.82) nmol/L and (273.02±61.74) nmol/L respectively in local point selection group, distal point selection group and combination of local and distal point selection group, both showing no significant difference than the normal control group (P>0.05).There was no significant difference in FT value between the combination of local and distal point selection group (5.62± 1.98) nmol/L and the normal control group (P>0.05).The decrease of AA in the combination of local and distal point selection group was between than the local point selection group (P<0.01).Conclusion Acupuncture can effectively improve the level of inflammatory factors and androgen of the acne vulgaris.Different methods of point selection of acupuncture on the improvement of some indicators were quite different, which laid the foundation for the best compatibility of acupuncture treatment in acne vulgaris.
5.Ultrastructural Observation on the Epididymis of Rats
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(04):-
By the routine electron microscopy the ultrastructure of the epididymis of 10 rats is studied.Except the principal cells, there is no significant difference in the ultrastructure of the other cell types of the epididymal epithelium between segments. The principal cell shows the ultrastructural characteristics of secretion and absorption. However, the ultrastructural characteristics of the principal cells in the proximal epididymvs show more tendency to absorbent and that in the distal epididymis show more tendency to secretory.Further-more it is observed that some halo cells are surrounded by small cells which possess long processes. Some or a few number of clear cells in the caudal epididymis contain some crystaloid inclusions in their basal cytoplasm. The presence of the fenestrated capillary in the peritubular tissue is also found. The meaning of the ultrastructures mentioned above is discussed.
6.Electron Micoscopic Observation on Coupling of Sarcoplasmic Reticulum with the Intercalated Disk in Myocardial Cells of Rat
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1988;0(05):-
The ultrastructure of the relationship between the sarcoplasmic (SR) and the intercalated disk in the atrial myocardial cells of the heart is studied. The results reveal: a coupling exists between the SR and the unspecializsd sarcolem-ma of the intercalated disk. In order to differentiate it from a general peripheral coupling it is called intercalated disk coupling. It possesses 3 morphological features of the peripheral and interior couplings, i. e., the cytoplasmic gap in coupling region is about 11-18 nm in width; the jnctional processes or junc-tional feet are located in the cytoplasmic gap; and the SR contains electronic dense material in its lumen. In the coupling region the RS membranes are not only coupling with the unspecialized membrane of the intercalated disk but also closely apposed to the external membrane of mitochondria. In addition, the gap junction-sarcoplasmic reticulum couplings are formed between the cardial gap junction and the SR. Its ultrastructural characteristics are the same as the cardial couplings. The functional significance of the couplings of the SR with the intercalated disk is discussed.

10.The short-term fusion rate of osteophyte filled cervical cage evaluated by a combination of CT, MR and X-ray film
Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics 2010;30(4):346-350
Objective To observe the short-term fusion rate of using osteophyte filled cage in ante-rior cervical disectomy and fusion. Methods From May 2007 to May 2009, 103 patients receiving anterior cervical disectomy, spine fusion by different surgeons were performed with cages containing exclusively au-tologous osteophyte collected from both anterior and posterior vertebral edges adjacent to the intervertebral space. There are 69 males, 34 females, from 25 to 77 years of age, average 53.6 years. 60 patients received one level fusion. 33 and 10 patients received two-level and three-level fusion respectively. Patients were re-viewed 3 months after operation and fusion was evaluated by X-ray film, reconstructive CT and MR. Results 1. Only 1.9% (2/103) of patients' X-ray films indicate non-fusion (internal fixation failure) while 31.7% (32/ 103) of patients' CT and 30.1% (31/103) of patients' MR indicate non-fusion or being confusing to make a diagnosis. 2. The diagnostic coherence between CT and MR as to evaluate fusion is good (kappa=0.686, P= 0.00). 3. The total fusion rate was 77.7%(80/103) while the highest fusion rate achieved by single surgeon was 90%(18/20). The total one level fusion rate was 80%(48/60) while the highest rate by single surgeon was 88.2%(15/17). The total two-level fusion rate was 78.6%(26/33) while the highest rate by single sur-geon was 90%(9/10). The total three-level fusion rate was 60%(60/100) while the highest rate by single surgeon was 100%(3/3). No statistic significant difference in fusion rate was found between any two of the three groups. Conclusion The method of using osteophyte filled cage can acquire ideal short-term fusion rate in one and two-level anterior cervical disectomy, fusion and plate fixation.
