1.Advance of radioiodine antagonist related gene of differentiated thyroid carcinoma
Journal of International Oncology 2016;43(3):204-206
Thyroid carcinomas are the most common endocrine malignancies, and the overwhelming majority of them is differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC).The major therapies of DTCs are surgical resection, thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) inhibitory treatment and iodine radioisotope (131I) treatment.131I has been widely applied for the diagnosis and treatment of DTC,however, part of these patients may reduce or loss the uptake capacity of 131I owing to the alteration of sodium-iodide symporter gene,BRAF,paired box 8,microRNA and cytokeratin 19.These genes are particularly important in the treatment of DTC,which can be used as biomarkers in the treatment efficacy evaluation.

International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2014;(23):3224-3225
Objective To understand the clinical distribution of Acinetobacter baumannii and its resistance to antibacterial drugs in order to provide reference for clinical rational drug use in the treatment of Acinetobacter baumannii infection. Methods 162 strains of Acinetobacter baumannii isolated from clinical specimens were collected and performed the statistical analysis on the dis-tribution and the sensitivity to 16 kinds of antibacterial drugs. Results The specimen distribution was dominated by sputum speci-mens(75.3%).The ICU ward had the highest detection rate(49.3%),in which, multidrug resistant strains accounted for 81.2%(65/80);the strains from ICU had the serious multidrug resistance, their resistance rates to 16 kinds of commonly used antibacterial drugs were significantly higher than those the strains isolated from other wards, the difference had statistical significance(P <0.01).The resistance rates of Acinetobacter baumannii to tobramycin, amikacin and cefperazone/sulbactam were relatively lower. Conclusion Strengthening the monitoring of multidrug resistant Acinetobacter baumannii strains and the sterilization and isolation of ICU ward has the important significance to prevent and control nosocomial infection.
5.Alginate combined with bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells for repair of spinal tuberculosis:biocompatibility and mechanical properties
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2017;21(10):1565-1570
BACKGROUND: Although considerable progress has been made in spinal tuberculosis surgery, considering the particularity of the spine position, the surgical treatment is limited by the body stress and secondary injury due to removal of the internal fixation. Tissue engineering provides a new insight into the treatment of various diseases.Ideal biomaterials instead of traditional internal fixation materials are characterized by non-toxic and non-immune rejections.OBJECTIVE: To explore the biocompatibility and mechanical properties of alginate combined with bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells for repair of spinal tuberculosis.METHODS: Forty New Zealand rabbits were divided into four groups, 10 rats in each group: control group, spinal tuberculosis group, alginate group and titanium alloy group. The control group received no treatment, and in the other groups, boreholes were drilled in the fifth lumbar intervertebral disc and filled with gelatin sponge, and Mycobacterium tuberculosis suspension 0.1 mL (the amount of bacteria, 5 g/L)was then injected to make spinal tuberculosis models. Two months after modeling, simulated L4-5 spinal tuberculosis surgery was performed in the latter two groups, and alginate combined with bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells and titanium alloy internal fixation material were implanted, respectively.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: One rabbit in the titanium alloy group had local infection and swelling. No rabbit in the alginate group had adverse reactions, such as swelling and local infection. Anteflexion, rear protraction, lateral bending distance and maximum axial pullout force in the alginate group and titanium alloy group were superior to those in the spinal tuberculosis group (P < 0.05), which were close to normal levels (P > 0.05). The above results showed that the alginate gel combined bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells has good biocompatibility with the body after implantation, and the post-implantation spinal stability is good and close to that after implantation of the titanium alloy.
6.Characteristics of Perceived School Climate and Its Relationship with School Adjustment of Middle School Students:School Attitude as a Mediator
Chinese Journal of Clinical Psychology 1993;0(02):-
Objective:To explore the relationship between perceived school climate and school adjustment of middle school students. Methods:The data were collected by self -report and teacher -report methods. Results:There were significant differences among grades and gender in school climate perceptions;and school climate perceptions could be classified into three types:intimate, average and stress, and school adjustment was the best in the intimate type. The perceived school climate had significant predictive effect on all the indicators of school adjustment,of which school attitude and social loneliness were the largest, the problematic behavior was the second and the academic performance was the least.School attitude played a part of mediated role between the school climate perception, social loneliness and problematic behaviors. Conclusion:The perceived school climate has significant predictive effect on school adjustment.
7.Virus induced acute respiratory distress syndrome in children
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2015;22(12):818-821,825
The acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) can be induced by viral diseases.Among these viruses that can affect the lung and cause ARDS,pandemic viruses head the list, with influenza viruses H1N1,H5N1,coronavirus and measles.Apart from these pandemic viruses, respiratory viruses such as adenovirus are sometimes responsible for viral pneumonia and ARDS.Other than antiviral drug, management of ARDS due to these virusesdoes not differ from that for ARDS caused by other diseases, including lung protective ventilation strategy, prone position ventilation, conservative fluid therapy, analgesia and sedation,ECMO and management of air leak.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(41):6699-6705
BACKGROUND:Previous studies have suggested that achaete-scute homology 1 (ASCL1) plays a key role in the neuronal commitment. Therefore, somatic cels may directly differentiate into neurons by gene transfection ofASCL1, which wil provide new therapeutic strategies for optic nerve regeneration. OBJECTIVE:To construct a recombinant adenovirus vector expressing ratASCL1 gene for further research ofASCL1 gene function. METHODS:The ratASCL1 gene and advenovirus shuttle plasmid (pYr-adshuttle-4) which contained enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) reporter gene were cleaved by restriction endonucleaseXhoI andEcoR I. The target gene fragments were connected together to generate a recombinant plasmid pYr-ads-4-rat-ASCL1 and then transfected into E.coliDH5α. The plasmid was confirmed to be constructed as expectation by enzyme digestion and sequence reaction. The plasmid pYr-ads-4-rat-ASCL1 and pAd/PL-DEST were reconstructed by homologous recombination processes to obtain rat ASCL1 recombinant adenovirus vector. The plasmid pYrAd-rASCL1 was linearized byPac I and subsequently transfected into HEK293 cels for packaging and amplification. RatASCL1 gene in the recombinant adenoviruses were identified by PCR. Virus titer was determined by tissue culture infectious dose 50. Infection efficiency was monitored by EGFP expression. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Restriction endonuclease digestion and DNA sequencing showed that the recombinant adenovirus vector pAd-rat-ASCL1 was constructed correctly. The positive amplification bands of 862 bp could be seen in PCR analysis. The virus titer reached 2×1010 pfu/mL. Infection efficiency of recombinant adenovirus in HEK293 cels was more than 80%. The results indicate that the recombinant the adenovirus vector containingASCL1 with high titer and infection efficiency has been successfuly constructed, which can be helpful for further research of the function and clinical application ofASCL1 gene for optic nerve regeneration.
