1.Thoughts on Point Shouwuli(LI13) Contraindicated for Acupuncture in Ancient Times
Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2015;(12):1239-1240
Point Shouwuli(LI13)is the point contraindicatedfor acupuncture in all acupuncture books recording points contraindicated for acupuncture. The authors explore this issue from several aspects: ancient medical book records, modern anatomy of point Shouwuli and the modern application of point Shouwuli, elaborate the ancient and modern applications of point Shouwuli and do some thinking. The results show that contraindicating point Shouwuli for acupuncture is of important significance for reference in today's clinical application.

Objective To explore the impact of nursing intervention on quality of life of blood dialysis patients. Methods 60 cases of hemodialysis patients were selected and divided into the experimental group and the control group with 30 patients in each group. The control group was given conventional nursing, while the experimental group was given systematic health education and psychological nursing. The differences in life quality before and after the intervention in the experimental group was evaluated with self-designed questionnaire. The changes in motor function, psychological function, social function, and material life were compared before and after the intervention between two groups. Results After the intervention, the score of motor function, psychological function and total evaluation of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group. Conclusions Nursing intervention can effectively alleviate the discomfort feeling of patients, reduce their mental pressure, increase their quality of life.Nursing intervention is closely related with quality of life.

Objective To study the expression of HIF-1α and bcl-XL in gastric cancer and their relationship with tumor angiogenesis, clinicopathologic feature and prognosis. Methods Immunohistochemical technique was used to detect the expression of HIF-1α and bcl-XL in 54 cases of gastric canoer.SPSS 12.0 software was used to analyze the relationship between the expression of HIF-1α, bcl-XL and tumor angiogenesis, clinicopathologic feature of patients. Results The positive expression rate of HIF-1α in gastric cancer(74.07%) was significantly higher than that in normal gastric tissue(0),P<0.01;The expression of HIF-1α in gastric cancer was significantly associated with TNM stage, invasive depth and lymph-node metastasis,P<0.05 or P<0.01;The positive expression rate of bcl-XL in gastric cancer(53.7%) was significantly higher than that in normal gastric tissue(33.3%),P<0.05;The expression of bcl-XL in gastric cancer was significantly associated with histological types,TNM stage and lymph-node metastasis,P<0.05;There was a positive correlation between expression of HIF-1α and bcl-XL (r=0.41,P<0.05).Conclusion HIF-1α and bcl-XL play a very important role in the development in gastric cancer and could be a factor in diagnosis of gastric cancer and estimation of prognosis.

PurposeTo explore and compare subtracted and unsubtracted volume rendering process on DSA apparatus in the diagnosis and treatment of intracranial aneurysms, and to provide a better reconstruction in clinic.Materials and Methods Twenty-seven patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) underwent rotational cerebral angiography and 19 cases with embolization treatment underwent rotational cerebral angiography follow-up. 3D volume unsubtracted reconstruction and subtracted reconstructions were used respectively. Two sets of 3D volume reconstruction images were observed and analyzed by two neuroradiologists to compare the detection rate, image quality and post-embolization follow up.Results Thirty-three intracranial aneurysms were identiifed in 27 cases with SAH underwent three-dimensional digital angiography (3D-DA). False positives were found in 2 cases. 3D-DSA detected 33 intracranial aneurysms with no false positive case. There was no statistical signiifcance in intracranial aneurysms detection rate (χ2=1.943,P>0.05). There was no statistical significance in image quality of two reconstruction methods (Z=-1.445,P>0.05). In 19 cases with embolization treatment underwent the follow-up of rotational cerebral angiography, 3D-DA detected 3 cases with aneurysm remnants, while 3D-DSA detected 10. There was statistical signiifcance between 3D-DA and 3D-DSA when detecting aneurysm remnant (χ2=5.729,P<0.05).Conclusion Aneurysms can be well detected with better image quality by 3D-DSA and 3D-DA in the diagnosis and treatment of intracranial aneurysms. 3D-DSA can display more information on tiny vessels, and is better in detecting aneurysm remnants.

Objective An effective reproducible protocol for complete plant regeneration via somatic embryogenesis has beendeveloped for Herpetospermum pedunculosum,an endangered Tibetan medicinal herb. Methods The cotyledonexplants used in this study were excised from seedlings germinated in vitro.Callus was induced from cotyledonexplants on Murashige and Skoog's medium, supplemented with 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid(2,4-D,0.1-1.0mg/L)alone or in combination with 6-benzylaminopurine(BA,0.5,1.0,and 2.0 mg/L).Results The calli showeddifferentiation of globular embryos after three weeks of incubation on MS medium supplemented with variouscombinations of BA and NAA.Sixty-two percent of the embryogenic calli produced somatic embryos in MS basalmedium supplemented with BA(1.0 mg/L)+NAA(2.0 mg/L).The addition of KN(0.5 mg/L)to MS mediumcontaining both BA and NAA(2.0 mg/L each)significantly increased the frequency of somatic embryogenesis.Themaximum percentage of embryogenic calli formation was 83%,and globular embryos formed and germinatedsuccessfully in this medium. Then, transferring the regenerated plants from this medium to hormone-free MSmedium will further enhanced the development of the plants, and the healthy plantlets are formed successfullywithin four weeks. The plantlets were transferred to soil to acclimatize under greenhouse conditions and 75%survived.Conclusion Somatic embryogenesis protocol as reported here can play a key role in the propagation andconservation of this endangered species.

Parental perceptions of child vulnerability (PPCV) is widespread among pediatric patients, and has serious adverse effects on children, families, and society. This article reviews the concept, commonly used measurement tools, and research status of PPCV at home and abroad, and summarizes the influencing factors from three aspects, namely, pediatric factors, parental factors and social factors. This article analyzes the limitations of existing research and makes recommendations, with a view to providing references for future evaluation, prevention and intervention of PPCV.
