With wide application of medical consumables, inventory management of medical consumables has important significance. The principle and two specific methods for keeping inventory level are introduced to give specific requirements of stock materials keeping and quality management. How to set up scientific management processes is more discussed in order to protect the work development of clinical medical care in health and safety in related crow, such as patient and user, and improve the efficiency and reduce labor intensity of care, so that the quality of medical care can reach to a new level.

This paper reviews the development of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in United Arab Emirates (UAE) over the past 40 years including early medical teams, private TCM clinics and official research institutions introduces the legislation management of TCM and Acupuncture in UAE, including medical doctor qualification examination, registration requirements; analyzes the current situation of TCM development in UAE, including practicing physicians and clinics, composition of patients, medical expenses, medical insurance, and publicity activities. Based on the aboved analyses, the main problems of TCM development in UAE are as follow: limited TCM treatment methods, lack of qualified TCM doctors, the difficulty of the registration of TCM products, and the negative impact of informal massage centers. Thus, it is suggested to strengthen the scientific cooperation on common diseases, organize activities and do promotions work between China and UAE so as to promote the development of TCM in the UAE.

Objective To investigate the sleep quality state of people who did physical examination,and its correlation with brachial-ankle Pulse Wave Velocity (baPWV).Methods The indexes of Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) and baPWV were used.The people who did physical examination were divided into sleep disorders group (284 cases) and normal sleep group (608 cases) according to the results of PSQI survey.Results (1) There were 31.84％ of the people who had sleep quality problems.(2) The PSQI total score and the score of subjective sleep quality (SSQ),sleep duration (Sdu),daytime dysfunction (DD) of females were higher than males (t =6.71,3.46,2.45,3.96,P ＜0.05).The PSQI total score and the score of sleep latency (SL),habitual sleep efficiency (HSE),use of sleeping medication (USM) among different age groups were statistically analyzed (F =12.23,8.31,7.50,7.11,P ＜ 0.05).(3) The score of baPWV of sleep disorders group was higher than normal sleep group (t =5.14,P ＜ 0.05).There were significantly positive correlation between baPWV and total PSQI score,subjective sleep quality,sleep time,daytime dysfunction (r =0.28,0.45,0.30,0.36,0.35,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions 1/3 of the physical examination people have sleep quality problems.Sleep quality of females is worse than males.There are different styles among different age groups.There is significantly positive correlation between sleep quality and baPWV.

In this article,the connotation of the knowledge management and services as well as the relationship between them were introduced.The specific measures about how to carry out these management and services were described.

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of acetic acid with narrow-band imaging ( NBI ) and magnifying endoscopy ( ME ) on diagnosis of small colorectal polyps. Methods In this prospective study, 261 small colorectal polyps from 122 patients were observed by ME, NBI-ME, and acetic acid with NBI-ME, and then received endoscopic treatment. Endoscopic images were stored electronically and randomly allocated to 3 experts and 3 non-experts for diagnosis using Kudo pit pattern. The postoperative pathologic results acted as gold standard to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of different endoscopic modes for small colorectal polyps. The image definition and interobserver agreement were compared among different endoscopic modes. Results The diagnostic accuracy of ME, NBI-ME, and acetic acid with NBI-ME for small colorectal polyps was 65. 5％ ( 171/261) , 90. 0％ ( 235/261) , and 94. 6％ ( 247/261) , respectively, in the experts group, and 57. 1％ ( 149/261) , 83. 1％ ( 217/261) , and 89. 3％ ( 233/261) , respectively, in the non-experts group. All experts and non-experts diagnosed small colorectal polyps more accurately by acetic acid with NBI-ME than by NBI-ME ( all P<0. 05 ) and ME ( all P<0. 001 ) . The image definition scores of acetic acid with NBI-ME in the experts group and non-experts group were significantly higher than those of NBI-ME and ME ( all P<0. 001) . The results of interobserver agreement showed that Kappa values (95％CI) of ME, NBI-ME, and acetic acid with NBI-ME diagnosis were 0. 578 (0. 508-0. 648), 0. 669 (0. 599-0. 739), and 0. 940 (0. 870-1. 010), respectively, for experts and 0. 476 (0. 406-0. 546), 0. 534 ( 0. 464-0. 604) , and 0. 830 ( 0. 760-0. 900 ) , respectively, for non-experts. Acetic acid with NBI-ME showed good interobserver agreement. Conclusion Acetic acid with NBI-ME has a higher diagnostic accuracy and good reproducibility for colorectal small polyps compared with ME and NBI-ME.

The Republic of China period （1912—1949） was an important stage of transition from traditional herbalism to clinical Chinese materia medica. The clinical application of Chinese materia medica became the focus of academic attention. During the Republic of China period， the research objectives， methods， and content of clinical Chinese materia medica were clarified， and the basic framework of Chinese materia medica was established through efficacy classification and item description. Based on the historical background at that time， striving for survival in adversity were the internal factors driving the construction of clinical Chinese materia medica， and the rise of academic education and the popularity of traditional Chinese medicine journals provided favorable conditions for the development of clinical Chinese materia medica. The clinical Chinese materia medica during the Republic of China period gradually formed a theoretical structure and core content that was distinctly different from that of traditional herbal medicine， which was integrated with the scientific research of Chinese materia medica and promoted the continuous development of Chinese materia medica together with other subdisciplines， presenting distinctive characteristics of the times and important academic significance.
