Objective To observe the effect of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMMSC) on graft versus host disease (GVHD) and survival rate after allogenic bone marrow transplantation (allo-BMT) in acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) mice. Methods In the experimental group, both bone marrow cells and BMMSC obtained from donor mice were transplanted into the recipient mice injected with leukemia cells five days ago, and in the control group, the mice was injected with bone marrow cells alone. The impact of BMMSC on the quantity of CD 4 + and CD 8 + T cells after allo-BMT was evaluated by flow cytometry. The general manifestation and pathological changes of GVHD were observed. The survival time of recipient mice was recorded. Results BMMSC could decrease the quantity of CD 4 + T cells, increase CD 8 + T cells number, delay GVHD, and obviously increase the survival time in the mice treated with allo-BMT(P

Objective To further study the value of MR T2WI fat saturation sequence in acute Spinal Trauma. Methods 109 cases of acute Spinal Trauma underwent MR imaging were analysed retrospectively. The detection rate of lesions with bone marrow edema, Vertebral fracture and spinal cord injury was compared in T2WI and FS T2WI. Results FS T2WI could detect more lesions of obscure fracture and bone marrow edema than that in T2WI,and it could accurately show the extent and the feature of anatomic structure in acute injury of bone. Conclusion FS T2WI can improve the diagnostic sensition and accuracy in Spinal Trauma, and it should be used as a routine MR sequence for detecting Spinal Trauma.

Objective To study the imaging features of Scheuermann disease and compare the value of MRI, X-Ray and CT images in diagnosis of this disease. Methods The images of 14 Scheuermann disease patients were analyzed retrospectively. Results The pathological changed vertebraes have wedge-shaped changes in different degree. The edges of the vertebraes manifest roughness and have become step-shaped, or Schmorl′s nodes were demonstrated. Conclusion The multi-vertebraes wedge-shaped changes and the Schmorl′s nodes are the main imaging features of Scheuermann disease. The pathological change occurs in the different spine segments, and the imaging features are not completely same. X-Ray and MRI images are more important in diagnosis of this disease. MRI Multi-direction imaging displays clearly the Schmorl′s nodes, marrow dropsy, the fat accumulation and the intervertebral disc denaturation. What′s more important is that MRI has its own superiority in the differential diagnosis of this disease.

Objective To study the clinicopathological features in the diagnosis of serous microcystic adenoma of pancreas.Method A clinicopathological and immunohistochemical study was conducted on 7 patients with serous microcystic adenoma of pancreas. Results All the patients were female, with a mean age of 51 years.Clinical symptoms were present in 2(28.6%)patients.On microscopy, the tumor composed of variable-sized cysts. The cyst wall was covered by simple cuboidal epithelium. The cytoplasm was clear and glycogen-rich.The nucleus of the epithelial cells was small and round. In the center, there was no nucleolus and no nuclear division. There were bulky fibrous tissues between the cystic cavities.Immunohistochemical study showed AE1/AE3,CK7,CK8,CK19,CK/LMW,EMA were positive, and CEA,CD31,CD34,D2-40,Syn,CgA,Calretinin,Vim were negative. Conclusions Serous microcystic adenoma of pancreas is a rare tumor, which was common in old women.Serous microcystic adenoma of pancreas is a benign tumor with good prognosis. The diagnosis is made on histopathological and immunohistochemical study.

Wnt/β-catenin is an evolutionarily conserved, complex developmental signal pathway that regulates embryogenesis, cell fate, tissue homeostasis, injury repair, and the pathogenesis of human diseases. Mounting evidence demonstrates that Wnt/β-catenin signaling plays a key role in early nephrogenesis. It is relatively silent in normal adult kidneys but reactivated in a wide variety of animal models of nephropathies and in human kidney diseases. Activation of Wnt/β-catenin after acute kidney injury contributes to proper repair and regeneration of damaged renal tubules. However, sustained activation of this signal cascade is closely related to the development and progression of fibrotic chronic kidney disease. In this paper, we systematically review the components and mechanisms of Wnt/β-catenin signaling and its role in kidney repair and fibrosis after injury. A better delineation of the mechanisms of this pathway will provide novel targets and new strategies for designing effective treatment of various kidney diseases.

【Objective】 To understand the current situation of blood components distribution in domestic prefecture-level blood stations through analyzing the components distribution data of 24 prefecture-level blood stations in China. 【Methods】 The data of components distribution of 24 blood stations from 2017 to 2020 as well as the data of blood deployment of 24 blood stations from 2019 to 2020 were collected and analyzed. 【Results】 From 2017 to 2020, positive annual growth in red blood cells, plasma and cryoprecipitate was observed in 22, 19 and 15 out of the 24 blood stations, and the annual growth median rate of above three components was 5.24%, 3.80% and 3.25%, respectively. Among the 24 prefecture-level blood stations, 23 carried out the preparation of cryoprecipitate. 【Conclusion】 The distribution of red blood cells, cryoprecipitate and plasma in prefecture-level blood stations is increasing year by year. However, there is a overstock of plasma, and most blood stations need blood employment.

BACKGROUND:
Tumor microenvironment is a complex and dynamic community, which plays a crucial role in tumor progression via the co-evolution of cancer cells and tumor stroma. Among them, tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) and tumor neo-vessels are two key components in the tumor microenvironment during cancer invasion. In addition, programmed cell death ligand 1/programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-1/PD-L1) also plays an important role in tumorigenesis and development, and the clinical strategies to block PD-1/PD-L1 pathway could have great benefits for cancer patients. This study was aimed at analyzing the quantitative expression and prognostic significance of TAMs, tumor neo-vessels and PD-L1 in tumor microenvironment and exploring the relations between the expression of above components with the patients' prognosis of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
METHODS:
Clinico-pathological data and surgical specimens of 92 patients with NSCLC were collected, and immunohistochemistry was used to stain the expression of TAMs, tumor neo-vessels and PD-L1 on tumor tissue and peri-tumor tissues. The inverted microscopy was used to take pictures and Image-pro Plus 6.0 software was used for quantitative analysis. The clinicopathological characteristics and overall survival (OS) were analyzed.
RESULTS:
The median OS of 92 NSCLC cases was 22.5 month. The expression of TAMs, tumor neo-vessels and PD-L1 in tumor tissue and peri-tumor tissues were not statistically significant (P>0.05). According to the cutoff of above key three components in tumor microenvironment, all the cases could be classified into high, middle and low expression groups. The survival analysis demonstrated that the OS in high expression group of TAMs (P=0.016) and PD-L1 (P=0.002) was shorter than the other two groups, respectively, with statistical significance. The OS in high tumor neo vessels group was shorter than the other two groups. However, there was no statistical significance between these three group (P=0.626). Combined with above the three components, all the cases could be classified into low, middle and high density groups. The survival analysis demonstrated that the median OS of combined high density group was shorter than the other two groups (P=0.001). Multivariate analysis by Cox regression indicated that pathological type, TAMs and PD-L1 expression were the independent prognostic factors.
CONCLUSIONS
The key components of TAMs and PD-L1 in tumor microenvironment are closely related to the prognosis of NSCLC patients.
