Objective:To observe the expressions of Th22 cells and IL-22 in peripheral blood of patients with Lupus nephritis (LN) and explore its significance. Methods: Patients of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) with no renal involvement (n=38),lupus nephritis (n=32) and healthy controls (n=10) were studied.Flow cytometry was utilized to quantify the percentage of Th22 cells in peripheral blood.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to detect the levels of serum IL-22.The Th22 cells and The serum level of IL-22 among three groups were compared, and the correlation between Th22,IL-22 and SLE disease activity index score (SLEDAI) was analyzed. Results: Th22 cells in SLE group and LN group were significantly higher than those in healthy control group (P<0.01).Serum IL-22 level was also significantly higher than that of healthy control group (P<0.01);Th22 and IL-22 LN group were slightly higher than that in SLE group, but the difference was not significant (P>0.05).The proportion of Th22 cells and the level of IL-22 in LN group were positively correlated with the disease activity score SLEDAI.Conclusion: Th22 cells and IL-22 may play an important role in the pathogenesis of SLE and LN.

Objective To detect the expression and correlated significance of inducible nitric oxide synthase and p53,Bax in benign and malignant diseases of gallbladder. Methods In 16 cases of chronic cholecystitis,11cases of chronic cholecystitis with adenomyoma and 24 cases of gallbladder adenocarcinoma, the expression of iNOS,p53 and Bax in gallbladder's wall was detected by SP immunohistochemistry. Results 1^Inducible NOS and Bax expressed in both benign and maligmant diseased gallbladders' wall, compared with benign diseased gallbladders, the expression of iNOS and Bax in adenocarcinoma was decreased(P

Objective To synthesize a lipophilic prodrug of triptolide (TP) and improve its druggability .Methods Trip-tolidestearate (TP-SA)was synthesized via the DMAP-catalyzed DCC method and identified by MS ,1H-NMR and 13C-NMR. The shake-flask method was used to study the oil/water partition coefficient .The preparations of TP and TP-SA liposomes and emulsions were compared .Their encapsulation efficiency and stability were investigated .Results TP-SA was synthesized suc-cessfully .Its log P in octanol/water system was 2 .33 .It was difficult to prepare TP liposome or emulsion .By contrast ,TP-SA liposome and emulsion can be prepared successfully with the same formulation process .The particle size of TP-SA lipo-somes were about 90 nm and TP-SA emulsions were about 110 nm .The encapsulation efficiency was above 95% .Their stabili-ty were studied at 4℃ and 25℃ .The preparation parameters ,such as particle size and encapsulation efficiency ,had no signif-icant change in a week .Conclusion Triptolide stearate enhanced drug lipophilicity .Its druggability was improved significant-ly .These data can be used for the TP related drug design and development .

Paclitaxel is a natural compound with efficient broad-spectrum antitumor activity .However ,the clinical ap-plication has been limited owing to the undesirable drawbacks ,such as the poor water-solubility ,cardiovascular toxicity and neurotoxicity .The design of paclitaxel prodrugs is an effective measure which can improve the drug's druggability ,alleviate its toxicity adverse effect and enhance its antitumor effect .With the in-depth research of prodrugs ,tumor-targeting paclitaxel pro-drugs which using the excessive receptors ,specific enzymes ,transporters ,reactive oxide species ,glutathione in tumor tissues as well as acidosis and hypoxia in tumors as specific targets ,have made great progress .The relevant literature about paclitaxel prodrugs were reviewed in this paper ,which targeted to the specific pathological and physiological features of tumor microenvi-ronment in recent years.

Objective:This study compared the prevalence, awareness, treatment and control of hypertension and associated factors in China and the United States(US).Methods:Adult data from nationally representative samples were derived from the Chronic Disease and Risk Factors Surveillance in 2010 and 2013 in China and the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey in 2010 and 2013 in the US.Multivariable logistic and Poisson regression analysis were conducted to assess associations of the four outcomes with body weight status and behavioral factors.Results:Age-standardized prevalence rates of hypertension was 35.7%(95%confidence interval[CI]:35.4%to 36.1%)in 2010 and 29.8%(95%CI:29.4%to 30.2%)in 2013 in China, and 35.3%(95%CI:33.6%to 37.1%)in 2010 and 37.9%(95%CI:36.0%to 39.7%)in 2013 in the US.Among hypertensive participants, the age-standardized rates of treatment were 18.4%(95%CI:17.9%to 18.9%)in 2010 and 23.8%(95%CI:23.1%to 24.6%)in 2013 in China and 54.5%(95%CI:50.3%to 58.7%)in 2010 and 50.9%(95%CI:46.5%to 55.3%)in 2013 in the US;the age-standardized hypertension control rates were 3.2%(95%CI:3.0%to 3.5%)and 5.7%(95%CI:5.3%to 6.0%)in 2010 and 2013 in China and 50.6%(95%CI:46.2%to 55.0%)and 55.3%(95%CI:50.3%to 60.3%)in the US.Obesity was significantly associated with prevalence, awareness and control rates in both countries.Different from the US,obesity was negatively associated with hypertension control in China. Conclusion:Hypertension prevalence in China is similar to that in the US,but the control rate in China was significantly lower.Obesity was a critical risk factor for poor hypertension control in China.

The incidence rate of anxiety and depression is significantly higher in patients with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) than in the general population. The mechanisms underlying dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced depressive-like behaviors are still unclear. We clarified that IBD mice induced by repeated administration of DSS presented depressive-like behaviors. The paraventricular thalamic nucleus (PVT) was regarded as the activated brain region by the number of c-fos-labeled neurons. RNA-sequencing analysis showed that lipocalin 2 (Lcn2) was upregulated in the PVT of mice with DSS-induced depressive behaviors. Upregulating Lcn2 from neuronal activity induced dendritic spine loss and the secreted protein induced chemokine expression and subsequently contributed to microglial activation leading to blood-brain barrier permeability. Moreover, Lcn2 silencing in the PVT alleviated the DSS-induced depressive-like behaviors. The present study demonstrated that elevated Lcn2 in the PVT is a critical factor for DSS-induced depressive behaviors.
