Objective To discuss a method to show the structure of small mammary gland well by computed radiography(CR).Methods By analyzing 150 radiographs of mammary glands, the results showed that the mammary structure showed well whether or not was depended on the size of mammary gland.Using 24 steps aluminum ladder mimiced the small mammary gland and radiography was taken with various parameters and different imaging plate(IP) shading ways, then processed and printed, after that it was measured by density instrument. Results The display of grey scale of 24 steps aluminum ladder was improved if shading 10~15 mm margin of the IP by collimator or shading the central by a square cuprum plate with 22 mm length and 0.2 mm thickness.Radiography of small mammary gland by the same way was performed and the mammary structure was also showed well. Conclusion Shading the exposing areas properly by collimator or cuprum plate during CR can apparently improve the display of small mammary structure.

Objective To explore the effects of music therapy and massage on the quality of newborn hearing screening. Methods One hundred and twenty neonates were equally divided according to their registration number: those with even numbers in the experiment group and those with odd number in the control one. Both groups were treated with music therapy. In the experiment group, massage was added by specially trained nurses on the basis of music therapy. The two groups were compared in terms of neonatal hearing test and screening results. Result In the experiment group, the excellence rate of neonatal hearing test and the success rate of screening were significantly higher than those of the control group ( P<0 . 05 ) . Conclusion The music therapy and massage in the neonatal hearing screening can improve the quality of newborn hearing screening.

Pulse signal contains a wealth of biological and pathological information. However, it is susceptible to the influence of various factors which results in poor signal quality, and causes the device to generate false alarms. First the pulse signals are processing into discrete symbols, and then compare the test signal with the pulse template by using Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) to get the threshold for which can be used to find the interference segment of the test signal. By analyzing the DTW distance of the pulse signal, we can get the interference degree of the signal, then the quality level of the plus signal can be defined by the relationship between the interference degree and quality of the signal. The 1 055 group pulse signals provided by MIMIC II physiological database are used to train and test the signal quality assessment algorithms, and compared with other existing algorithms. The results show that the algorithms can accurately detect interference segments in pulse signal and reflect the quality of it.

Journal of China Medical University 2017;46(2):169-172
Objective To analyze the onset time rule of spontaneous pneumothorax ,and investigate the influence of climatic factors such as atmo-spheric pressure, wind speed, etc. on the onset of spontaneous pneumothorax. Methods Five hundred and ninety-three patients of spontaneous pneumothorax in Cenral Hospital Affiliated to Shenyang Medical College were enrolled for this study between January 1,2011 and December 31, 2015. The data of the average daily atmosphere pressure and wind speed in five years were recorded. The relationship between the onset of sponta-neous pneumothorax and the change of the atmosphere pressure and wind speed was analyzed. Results The incidence of spontaneous pneumotho-rax in Shenyang area was obvious seasonal. Primary spontaneous pneumothorax episodes were observed mostly in spring and in March and April;Second spontaneous pneumothorax episodes were observed mostly in winter and in November and December. The difference in mean atmospheric pressure was 0.6 hPa lower than on days in which no spontaneous pneumothorax occurred. This difference was statistically significant(P=0.015). We observed significantly higher average wind speed on days with SP versus days without(9.46±6.33 m/s vs 7.11±5.47 m/s,P<0.001). Conclu-sion Spontaneous pneumothorax has obvious aggregation of onset time. A sharp drop in atmospheric pressure and increases in wind speed has im-portant influence on the incidence of spontaneous pneumothorax.

Objective To observe selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor celecoxib on the cell migration, MMP-9 and VEGF expression of human gastric cancer SGC-7901. Methods In vitro culture of SGC-7901 cells, the cells were divided into blank control group and celecoxib treatment group (different concentrations of celecoxib 25, 50 and 100μmol/L). SGC-7901 cells were treated with celecoxib for 24 h. The effect of celecoxib on cell migration of SGC-7901 was detected by the damage repair experiment. RT-PCR assay was used to detect the effect of celecoxib on MMP-9 mRNA and VEGF mRNA expressions in SGC-7901 cells. Results The migration distance of SGC-7901 cells was decreased with the increased concentration of celecoxib. There were significant differences between medium-dose and high-dose celecoxib groups and the control group. RT-PCR assay showed that MMP-9 mRNA and VEGF mRNA expressions in gastric cancer SGC-7901 were significantly decreased with the increased concentration of celecoxib, and there was a significant difference compared with those of control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Celecoxib can inhibit migration of human gastric cancer SGC-7901 cells, which may be related to the inhibition of COX-2 downstream of MMP-9 and VEGF expressions.

Tumor radioresistance is the leading cause of clinical radiotherapy failure and disease progression.Researches show that the occurrence of radioresistance is related to the cell cycle arrest, relevant gene change, tumor microenvironment change, autophagy, tumor stem cells and other factors.Studying the mechanism of radioresistance and looking for an effective method to avoid it is the key to improve the effect of radiotherapy, which can provide the probability of the prognosis of radiosensitivity.

Objective To investigate imaging findings of lung injury after seawater drowning. Methods The imaging data in 12 cases with seawater drowning treated in our hospital in the past 8 years were analyzed retrospectively. Results After 2 to 12 hours of leaving the water, the initial chest X-ray examinations or CT scans were taken. The initial X-ray films displayed the lung markings increase, the small patch shadows or wide distribution patch shadows.CT showd large ground-glass density, diffuse patchy or flocculus shadows and different degress of emphysema in bilateral lung. Most of the foci were absorbed obviously in 1 to 3 days.In 1 case, the focus formed pulmonary abscess later. Conclusion X-ray and CT examinations can clearly show the severity and changes of lung damage in seawater submersion victims, and that can provide important informations for clinical diagnosis and treatment.

OBJECTIVE: To establish an animal model of myocardial ischemia with blood stasis syndrome in mini-swines. METHODS: An animal model of myocardial ischemia was established in mini-swines by oppressing the coronary artery through the expansion of inner layer of Ameroid constrictor and the Ameroid constrictor was implanted into the distal end of the initial part of the first branch of interventricular septum of ramus descendens anterior arteriae coronariae sinistrae. Dynamic observation of behavior changes, general health status and changes of hemorheological parameters in the mini-swines were made after operation. RESULTS: The coronary angiography showed that the stenosis rate in ischemic group was more than 75% four weeks after operation. Compared with before operation and sham-operated group, there were great changes of behavior, general health status, tongue color and hemorheological parameters in ischemic group (P<0.05). CONCLUSION: The animal model of myocardial ischemia with blood stasis syndrome in mini-swines was established successfully 4 weeks after operation. The pathological process in the animal model is similar to that in the patients with chronic myocardial ischemia. So this model can be adopted in the research of myocardial ischemia with blood stasis syndrome.
