China Medical Equipment 2014;(3):29-30,31
Objective:To discuss the effect of the choice of brain functional MRI parameter on image quality. Methods:To select nine young volunteers for scanning brain functional MRI from February to December, 2012, and analyze the effect caused by parameters to the image quality. Results:The lower of the b value, the more level 1 image, the less level 3 image;the more of the number of diffusion sensitive gradient direction, the more level 1 image, the less level 3 image. The largest impact on image quality is the interlayer spacing, the number of diffusion sensitive gradient direction and the b value. Conclusion:The factors influencing the quality of brain functional MRI images including the interlayer spacing, the number of diffusion sensitive gradient direction and b value. In the parameter selection process, one should start from diagnostic purposes and weigh the pros and cons with overall consideration.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a fast, accurate, programmed and automatic mode for the statistical analysis of drug in-formation data so as to achieve the compatibility and the switching among multiple forms and the sharing of data information. METHODS:Common Excel commands and functions as well as their use methods were introduced and analyzed combined with drug information statistics cases. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:By taking steps such as exporting raw data, designing drug infor-mation sheets and summarizing drug raw data with the pivot table, the data of the drugs purchased by the hospital in a manner of centralized bidding and national essential drugs purchased can be calculated on the basis of different periods of time to fast and accu-rately search for drug data, facilitate data induction and processing and shorten statistics cycle. The above-mentioned steps are well applicable, easy to master, efficient and fast, reliable in the check of results and data, and suitable for the statistics for hospital drug information and other fields.

Objective To survey bacterium pollution state on the surface of medical equipment maintenance tools, and thenobserve the disinfection effect of ozone. Methods Totally 30 medical equipment maintenance tools including screwdriver, hexagona wrench and multimeter from certain hospital were placed in ozone disinfection cabinet, and then disinfected by ozoneup to 5 minutes.Samples on the surface of tools were collected by cotton swabs before and after disinfection, cultured for 48hours in 37 ℃,and then the bacterial colony counts were measured and analyzed, and pathogenicity bacteria were identified. The pollution couditions on kinds of tools were compared. Results The surface of the tools was polluted severely, bacterialcolony counts of which before disinfection reached (132.68±37.02) cfu/cm2,and decreased to (6.44±1.08) cfu/cm2 after 5-minutes' disinfecting. There was statistically significant difference in the bacterial counts before and after the disinfection (P<0.01),and the inactivation ratio was up to 95.15%.Pathogenicity bacteria such as staphylococcus aureus and escherichia coliwere detected before the disinfection, and killed after that. The bacteria counts were significantly different in the three kindsof tools, and the screwdriver gained the highest count while the multimeter had the lowest one. Conclusion The surface ofmedical equipment maintenance tools is polluted by bacteria severely, including some pathogenicity bacteria, and should be disinfected regularly.Ozone can kill bacteria rapidly, and the tools can achieve sanitary standard after 5-minutes' ozone disinfecting.

Objective To clarify the effects of HBV co-infection on liver function of patients with different types of hepatic echinococcosis. Methods We recruited 409 patients diagnosed with hepatic echinococcosis at three hospitals in western regions in China from 2014 to 2015.Venous blood was withdrawn to detect to liver function indications.ELISA was performed to detect HBsAg.We analyzed liver function in patients stratified by different types of hepatic echinococcosis with or without HBV infection. Results The hepatic echinococcosis patients infected with HBV had more severe impairment in liver functions such as reduced albumin and increased transaminase. The patients with hepatic alveolar echinococcosis were more vulnerable to HBV infection compared with those with hepatic cystic echinococcosis (38.4% vs.86.4%, P<0.05).In addition, liver injury was more severe in patients diagnosed with alveolar hepatic echinococcosis and HBV infection compared with those diagnosed with cystic hepatic echinococcosis and HBV infection (all P<0.05).Conclusion Hepatic alveolar echinococcosis patients co-infected with HBV have worse liver injury compared with those hepatic cystic with HBV. Therefore, they deserve special attention in clinical treatment.
