Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2016;23(9):87-89
Objective To compare the contents of guanosine and adenine in peels of three strains of Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim.;To provide references for germplasm resources evaluation and breeding of the Chinese medicinal materials. Methods HPLC method was used to determine the contents of guanosine and adenine with Waters AtlantisT3-C18 column (4.6 mm×150.0 mm, 5 μm). The mobile phase was methanol and water, and the detection wavelength was 254 nm. Results The contents of guanosinein in peels of three strains of Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim. were 0.159 4, 0.159 6, 0.134 1 mg/g, respectively;the contents of adenine were 0.097 1, 0.127 9, 0.093 4 mg/g, respectively. Conclusion There were significient differences in the contents of adenine among three strains of Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim.. Strain Ⅱ is with higher level of guanosine and adenine, which implies that the breeding of the Chinese medicinal materals is one way to improve the quality of Trichosanthis Exocarpium.

Objective Investigating the expression of TLR3 and TLR7 mRNA in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) of patients with chronic hepatitis C infection (CHC),to explore the effects of gender and age on Toll-like receptor expres-sion.Methods Peripheral blood was collected from 1 1 5 patients of chronic hepatitis C infection,1 1 3 healthy individuals.Ex-pression levels of TLR3 and TLR7 mRNA were detected by real-time quantitative PCR.Results The expression of TLR3 and TLR7 mRNA were significant difference between patients with CHC infection and healthy individuals (t=38.73,6.16, P<0.05),respectively.The expression of TLR3 and TLR7 mRNA were significant difference between premenopausal fe-males with CHC infection, postmenopausal females and young males of CHC infection (t=61.210,6.464,P<0.05;t=24.166,26.266,P<0.05),respectively.The expression of TLR3 and TLR7 mRNA were significant differences between old males and young males of chronic hepatitis CHC infection (t=86.349,19.583,P<0.05).The expression of TLR3 mRNA was significant differences between old males and postmenopausal females of CHC infection (t=122.941,P<0.05).There was no correlation between the expressions of TLR3 and TLR7 and HCV-RNA load of CHC patents of Gender and age dis-crepancies (|r|<0.40,P>0.05).The HCV-RNA load of premenopausal females was significant lower than young males and old females (t=3.49,2.51,P<0.05),the load of old males was lower than old females (t=2.35,P<0.05),however, there was no significant differences between old males and old females (t=1.20,P<0.05).Conclusion Gender and age dis-crepancies have a relationship with the expression of Toll-like receptors of patients with CHC infection, which may provide a theoretical basis and a new method for CHC.

Objective To observe the effect of lattice silver wound repair dressings on large-area abrased wounds . Methods A total of 60 patients with large-area skin abrasions were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 30 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with the same antibacterial treatment and nutritional support treatment. The control group received conventional general routine dressings and the observation group had the silver wound repair dressings every day. The two groups were compared in terms of the wound pain, wound infection rate, time for wound healing and scars of patients. Results The wound healing time in the observation group was significantly shortened (P<0.01). The scaring of the observation group was better than that in the control group (P<0.01). The pain degree and the exudation rate were both significantly lower in the observation group than those of the control group (P<0.01), and wound infection rate was lower than that of control group. Conclusions The lattice silver wound repair dressing can effectively promote the wound healing, shorten hospitalization duration, promote the patient recovery soon. It is simple and worthy of clinical popularization.

Journal of Integrative Medicine 2009;7(12):1104-7
Abstract: There were more and more patients suffered from perianal abscess. The patient's condition will become even worse if the patients cannot be treated properly. Selecting proper operation method according to special condition is the key point of increasing curative effect, decreasing suffering and relapse rate and promoting quality of life of patients. The authors summarized operation methods, including abscess incision drainage, radical incision and thread-drawing, and staging incision and thread-drawing, etc. in treating perianal abscess in clinic.

Objective This was a follow-up study of suicidal patients to assess the influence over time of different risk factors.Method A cohort of 73 patients admitted to a psychiatric department after a suicide attempt was followed-up for 5 years. Results In total,61.6% reattemped,15.1% of which had committed suicide during the follow-up.The rist factors for suicide included history of family psychiatric or suicide, and a poor social support,et al.Conclusion The results suggest a high repetition rate of suicide attempters in the psychotic patients who had previous suicidal behaviour and them positive family history. The preventive strategy to suicide in patients, such as set up good social network and should pay mroe attention to psyciologic rehabilitation period after discharge.

Objective To observe the efficacy and main complications of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(allo-HSCT)for 76 patients with hematopoietic malignancies. Methods From September 2001 to March 2007,76 patients received allo-HSCT in Department of Hematology,Xijing Hospital,Fourth Military Medical University. All cases included 24 acute myeloid leukemia(AML),15 acute lymphocytic leukemia(ALL)and 34 chronic myelogenous leukemia(CML)and 3 T cell lymphoma/leukemia.Donors were HLA-identical sibling(n=57),1 locus mismatched sibling(n=3),HLA-matched unrelated volunteer(n=9)and haplo-identical sibling(n=7).Conditioning regimen consisted of busulphan-cyclophosphamide or cyclophosphamide and total body irradiation plus Ara-c/VP-16.Graft versus-host disease prophylaxis was the standard methotrexate and cyclosporine combination.Anti-human thymocyte immunoglobulin(ATG)and CD25 monoclonal antibody was given in unrelated donor and haplo-identical HSCT.Results Totally 73 patients got sustained engraftment.Acute GVHD and chronic GVHD were found in 18/73(24.7%)and 24/73(32.9%)patients,respectively.Severe veno-occlusive disease occurred in 2 cases.Pure red cell aplasia was found in 5 patients with major ABO mismatched HSCT.With a follow-up of 3 to 76 months,43/76(56.6%))patients were still alive and 33/76(43.4%)died from leukemia relapse or transplantation-related complications. Conclusion Allogeneic heamatopoietic stem cell transplantation is an effective therapy for leukemia, especially in CML-chronic period and acute leukemia in complete remission, but there is high rate of relapse in patients with high-risk and refractory status before transplantation.

Objective To investigate the association of rs10004195 single nucleotide polymorphisms in Toll like re-ceptor 10(TLR 10) gene with helicobacter pylori infection and associated diseases. Methods A total of 652 pa-tients who has been examined by gastroscopy were obtained, and then peripheral blood samples were collected from all the patients. Immune colloidal gold method was used to test the serological Hp antibody of all the patients. The TLR10 gene rs10004195 polymorphisms were examined by direct DNA sequencing of the PCR products. Results The frequencies of AA,TT and AT genotype on TLR10 rs10004195 were 30. 98%, 20. 71%, 48. 31%;there was significant difference between Hp antibody positive group and Hp antibody negative group in the TT frequencies of TLR10 rs10004195 ( P<0. 05 ) . No significant difference between controls and Hp associated diseases groups in Hp antibody positive group or in Hp antibody negative group were observed. Conclusion There was correlation be-tween the TLR10 rs10004195 loci genotype and the risk of Hp infection, but no correlation with Hp associated dis-eases.
