2.Target Monitoring of Nosocomial Infection in Department of Neurology
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(08):-
OBJECTIVE To understand the characteristics of nosocomial infection and its risk factors in the department of neurology, and to explore effective prevention and control measures for reducing the incident rate of nosocomial infection. METHODS Target monitoring procedures were setup. Prospective monitoring was done in inpatients in the department of neurology from Jan 2005 to Dec 2006. RESULTS Among 2682 patients, 135 patients (163 cases) suffered from nosocomial infection. The infection rate of the cases was 6.08%. Compared to the rate before monitoring (13.77%), it decreased 7.69%. The most common infection sites of the nosocomial infection were lower respiratory tract (34.36%) and urinary tract (26.38%), respectively. Pathogen test showed that main pathogens were Gram-negative bacilli (50.00%), then the fungi (32.95%). CONCLUSIONS Through target monitoring we can acquire patients′ information accurately in time, and set effective prevention and control measures to reduce the nosocomial infection rate.
3.Toll-like receptor 4 signalling pathway in microglia and central nervous system injury
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2011;19(12):944-947
The mechanism of central nervous system injury is complex.Microglia cells participate in a variety of central nervous system diseases and damage processes.Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) mediates the microglial activation and the expression of inflammatory cytokines. It is one of the important receptor proteins for microglia cells performing their functions. This article briefly introduces the role of TLR4 signal pathway in the central nervous system injury.
4.The diagnositic value of trans-abdominal and trans-virginal ultrasound for hysteromyoma
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2010;17(20):2757-2758
Objective To compare the diagnostic value for hysteromyona with trans-abdominal ultrasound (TAS) and trans-virginal ultrasound(TVS). Methods Two empirical doctors detected respectively 82 patients by TAS and TVS in double blind method. The results were compared with pathological results. Result The correct rate of diagnosis in 82 patients with 123 hysteromyoma focus by TVS and TAS was 96.75% and 86.18% respectively. There was statistical difference between TAS and TVS. The correct rate of combining use of the two method was 98. 37%. Couclusion Either TVS or TAS had its own merit and defect, Combining use of the two method could raise the correct rate.
5.Problems and Solutions to Bilingual Teaching in Local Colleges
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2006;0(10):-
Bilingual teaching is a positive exploration of raising high quality talented persons under the new situation. It exists some problems in local college bilingual teaching such as the shortage of teachers, standard teaching materials, proper students level, management measures and so on.Local colleges should strengthen training the teachers, vigorously introduce the talented persons;do well the bilingual teaching material construction through many ways, teach students in accordance with their aptitude, standardize management and establish the scientific teaching appraisal mechanism.

Objective To observe the effect of microinjection of oxytocin(OT) into paraventricular nucleus(PVN) on gastric ischemia-reperfusion(GI-R) injury and its molecular mechanism. Methods GI-R injury was induced in rats by clamping the celiac artery for 30 min and followed by reperfusing for 1 h.A cannula was inserted into the unilateral PVN for microinjection of OT.The gastric mucosal injury index was counted grossly. The expressions of Akt and caspase-3 in rat gastric mucosa were examined by Western blot and by immunohistochemistry. Results Microinjection of OT into PVN dose-dependently allevated gastric mucosal injury subjected to GI-R.Microinjection OT into PVN significantly increased the expression of Akt protein and decreased the level of caspase-3 in gastric mucosal following GI-R.The effects of OT were prevented by pretreatment with OT receptor antagonist atosiban into the lateral cerebral ventricle. Conclusion Microinjection of OT into PVN significantly protected against GI-R injury. These effects of OT are mediated by its receptors. The mechanisms are mediated by increasing Akt expression, which in turn inhibits caspase-3 expression.

Objective To observe effects of Apelin-13 microinjection into the hypothalamic paraventricular nucleus(PVN) on gastric ischemia-reperfusion(GI-R) injury in rats. Methods After Apelin-13 injection into PVN,the experimental model of GI-R was established by clamping the celiac artery for 30 min and then reperfused the artery for 1 h.We used immunohistochemistry to detect the gastric mucosal cells apoptosis, proliferation and the expression of BCL-2,BAX.Results(1)Apelin-13 microinjection into the PVN aggravated GI-R injury in an dose-dependent manner with dosages as 0.2,1.0 or 5.0 ?g,respectively.(2)Compared with GI-R group,Apelin-13 microinjection into PVN markedly increased gastric mucosal cellular apoptosis, decreased the proliferation and promoted protein expression of BAX,but obviously inhibited the protein expression of BCL-2.Conclusion Apelin-13 microinjection into the PVN may aggravate GI-R injury by promoting gastric mucosal cellular apoptosis and inhibiting proliferation.

Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2009;0(17):-
OBJECTIVE To investigate the genotype distribution in extended-spectrum ?-lactamases-producing Escherichia coli in our hospital.METHODS Clinical strains of E.coli confirmed to produce ESBLs were collected from our hospital.ESBLs genotype was analyzed by plasmid conjugation,PCR and nucleotide sequencing analysis.RESULTS The susceptiblility rate of ESBLs-producing strains were 100% to imipenem,75.4% to piperacillin/tazobactam.A total of 4 genotypes were identified in the 28 ESBLs-producing strains.CTX-M type was identified in 92.9% of the strains, including CTX-M-14,CTX-M-24 and CTX-M-3.SHV Type was identified in 7.1% of the strains, including SHV-12.CONCLUSIONS ESBLs producers are common in E.coli isolated from our hospital. Most of them are multidrug resistant and CTX-M is the main genotype of ESBLs.Other genotypes of ESBLs are not found.

Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2010;33(20):12-14
Objective To determine the association between macrocalcificatoin in thyroid nodule and thyroid carcinoma. Methods Sonogram of 169 patients of thyroid nodule with macrocalcification was retrospectively analyzed. The ultrasonographic finding was compared with pathological results after excision. Macrocalcification was divided into three types and assessed the relation between each type macrocalcification and thyroid carcinoma. Results Macrocalcification was detected in 176 nodules, 122 were malignant, and 54 were benign. Irregular macrocalcification were more common in malignant nodule (82.9%, 34/41), the malignant risk of solitary macrocalcification were lower (58.5%,31/53),and the malignant risk of curvilinear macrocalcification were between irregular macrocalcification and solitary macrocalcification (69.5%, 57/82). Conclusion Ultrasonography can play an important role in differentiating benign and malignant thyroid nodule macrocalcification.

ObjectiveTo study the risk factors of childhood functional constipation.MethodsA cross-sectional analysis of risk factors associated with 182 cases of functional constipation in children was conducted from March 2013 to February 2014. ResultsThe male patients were more than females, mainly in preschool children. The risk factors were did not like fruits and vegetables (52.2%), drank less water (44.0%), did not develop the habit of daily bowel movement (39.5%), defecation fear (36.3%), inadequate food intake (25.8%). There were different risk factors in different age stages.ConclusionsFunctional constipation is related to gender, age, diet habits and mental psychology.
