1.Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection and Thrombotic Diseases
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2008;16(6):464-468
Anti-phospholipid antibody and lupus anticoagulant appear in the blood of patients with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)infection, which result in the increased levels of von Willebrand factor and D-dimer,and decreased the levels of protein S,protein C,antithrombin and heparin cofactor, and thus rgsult in hypercoagulation status. In addition, the HIV infection itself and secondary opportunistic infections may also cause endothelial injury. Both hypercoag ulation status and endothelial injury may promote the occurrence of thrombotic diseases.
2.A path annlysis on the constraints of physician behavior by medical insurance payment
Chinese Journal of Health Policy 2015;8(12):31-35
As a rational economic man and agent, in the primary care Physicians not only pursue target in-come, but also pursue the utility of the agent. Different health care payment has different effect on physician, due to imperfect physician agent of the primary health care, the health care payment is difficult to achieve economic neutral. Based on the theory of target income and physician-induced demand, the paper proves that in the primary health care with the third party payment, there should be a prospective component of payment and fees should be lower than mar-ginal cost, which can not only improve the role of agent, but also constraint the physician-induced demand, so as to achieve health care for physician’s behavior constraints.

OBJECTIVE:To compare the total flavonoids content and antioxidant activity in the barks, leaves, male flowers and seeds of Eucommiae ulmoides. METHODS:UV spectrophotometry was used to determine the total flavonoids content in differ-ent parts;tests was conducted to clear 2,2′-nitrilobis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid)(ABTS+),1,1-diphenyl-2-trinitro-phenylhydrazine(DPPH)radicals and the reducing ability of Cu2+,using half clear/reduction concentration value(IC50)as evalua-tion indexes, and vitamin C was regarded as positive control. RESULTS:The total flavonoids content of the E. ulmoides from hight to low was as follows as leaves>male flowers>barks>seeds, except there was no significant difference in barks and seeds (P>0.05),the other parts had significant differences (P<0.05);the ability of different parts eliminating DPPH and ABTS+ free radical was as follows as leaves>male flowers>seeds>barks, except there was no significant difference in the indicators of leaves and male flowers(P>0.05),the other parts had significant differences(P<0.05);the ability of reducing Cu2+ free radical was as follows as leaves>male flowers>barks>seeds, there was significant difference in leaves and males flowers with barks and seeds (P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:The content of total flavonoids in leaves and male flowers is high, and the antioxidant activity is strong, which has a great prospect of exploitation and utilization to make up for deficiencies in barks of E. ulmoides.

Objective To improve the diagnostic and therapeutic efficacy for young patients with malignant tumors of pancreas at the early stage, and describe the clinical characteristics of this group of patients. Methods The clinical data of 46 young patients less than forty years old with malignant tumors of pancreas received treatment and follow up, including clinical features, clinicopathological parameters, status of misdiagnosis, CA 19-9, CEA, were retrospectively reviewed. Results The main manifestations of young patients with malignant tumors of pancreas were abdominal bloating (78.26% ), epigastric discomfort (73.91%), weight loss (73.91%), loss of appetite (69.57%), abdominal pain (60.87%). Majority of the tumors were located in pancreatic head. 30 cases (65.22%) had pathological evidence of metastasis, among them 13 cases had multi-organ involvement. Pancreatic exocrine tumor accounted for 72.73% (24/33) of all the tumors, while endocrine tumor accounted for 27.27% (9/33). The positive rates of CA 19-9 and CEA were 73.91% (34/46) and 32.6% (15/46). The misdiagnosis rate of young patients with malignant tumors of pancreas was up to 80.43% (37/46). The main misdiagnoses were acute or chronic gastritis (36.96%). The rate of radical operation for young patients with malignant tumors of pancreas was 23.91%, and the median survival was 12.6 months. Conclusions The symptoms of young patients with malignant pancreatic tumors are non-speciflc and the misdiagnosis rate was high and the prognosis was poor, therefore, the early diagnosis of pancreatic malignant tumors shall be emphasized.
