Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2016;23(3):450-453
Objective To explore the effect of different speed of bladder irrigation after transurethral resection of prostate. Methods 477 cases of benign prostatic hyperplasia, who received transurethral resection surgery were collected.According to the date of surgery, they were divided into observation group(in a single day,249 cases)and control group(double day,228 cases). The normal saline was used in the two groups, and the control group was washed with the conventional bladder irrigation, and the observation group was treated with the early rapid(no speed limit opening)and the routine velocity alternating flushing. The incidence of bladder spasm, the incidence of bladder spasm, the bleeding of bladder and the changes of heart rate and the mean arterial pressure of 24h were compared. Results Urine turned clear time, the total fluid, postoperative 5d red blood cell count of the observation group[(19.8 ± 8.3)h,(44.7 ±6.1)L,(25.8 ±11.3)months/μL]were significantly lower than the control group[(25.4 ±9.0)h, (52.3 ±7.4)L,(33.4 ±10.1)months/μL],the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(t =-6.270,-2.417,-10.459,all P <0.05).The incidence rate of bladder spasm, seizure frequency and duration per capita of the observation group[24.5%,(2.2 ±0.6)times,(15.4 ±4.6)min]were significantly lower than the control group[46.9%,(6.7 ±1.2)times,(27.6 ±5.1)min],the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(χ2 =8.725,t =-13.250,t =-18.066,all P <0.05).The postoperative rinse 1h,2h and 24h heart rate, mean arterial blood pressure had no statistically significant differences(all P >0.05).Conclusion The early rapid and conventional alternating washing method can improve the seizure of bladder spasm after prostatectomy, and reduce the bleeding of bladder.
3.Establishment, monitoring and improvement of indicators of specimen quality in clinical laboratories
Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2016;(1):10-12
The pre-examination process is the first key step in the total testing process of clinical laboratories.Specimen acceptability is an important indicator to measure the quality of pre-examination.In order to identify the risks and the root causes in the process , establishment and monitoring of quality indicators about specimen will effectively control the risks , enhance the acceptability of specimens , promote the improvement of pre-examination quality and finally get the aim of assuring patients′safety.

Journal of International Oncology 2013;40(11):820-823
Cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2),the rate-limited enzyme that converts arachidonic acid into prostaglandin, has been found overexpression in many malignant tumors. The overexpression of COX-2 plays an important role in tumor genesis and progression and is closely associated with tumor prognosis,so this enzyme has become one of the potential therapeutic targets.Experimental studies reveal that selective COX-2 inhibitors can enhance the tumor radiosensitivity through a variety of molecular pathways and have a protective effect for normal tissues.Selective COX-2 inhibitors are promising radiotherapy modifiers and the underlying molecular mechanisms still need to be further studied.

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2011;27(23):47-49
Objective To discuss the effect of negative pressure puncture without the cuff in staphylococal scalded skin syndrome (SSSS). Methods 68 children with SSSS in our department were chosen as research subjects from January 2009 to December 2010, and then were divided into the experimental group and the control group randomly. All children used the distal upper limbs for superficial vein puncture. The control group used vein puncture and catheter fixation by conventional methods, the experimental group used negative pressure puncture without the cuff in order to improve the methods for filling and indwelling intravenous needle fixation. Results In the experimental group, the parent satisfaction degree and the average catheter indwelling time were significantly better than the control group, the adverse reactions were lower than the control group. Success rate of one-time puncture and rate of venous blood return showed no significant difference compared with the control group. Conclusions The method of negative pressure puncture without the cuff is simple, easy to grasp and has a high puncture success rate, is better protection of skin and blood vessels for children with staphylococal scalded skin syndrome.

The pre-analytical process is the first key step in the total testing process of clinical laboratories, which will directly influence the accuracy and timeliness of testing results.Efficient preanalytical quality assurance system consists of scientific personnel structure, regular training and monitoring, bright and comfortable phlebotomy environment, advanced comprehensive phlebotomy facilities, strict biosafety practice in each procedure and harmonious relationship between clinicians/patients and laboratory.Besides, the application and monitoring of sound quality indicators in pre-analytical process will promote the improvement of quality and finally get the aim of assuring patients' safety.

Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2015;38(4):220-222
Neonatal inherited metabolic diseases are a group of metabolic disorders caused by singe gene defect to cause a series of clinical symptoms.Neonatal dried blood spots have the advantages of simple preparation, safety, good stability, and show strong practicability in different screening methods for inherited metabolic diseases. With the development of screening methods, more and more diseases could be diagnosed by screening. The emergence of tandem mass spectrometry and molecular biological techniques promote the newborn screening and automation for inherited metabolic disease effectively.Inherited metabolic diseases induce great harm to the newborn, which could cause not only system organs damage, but also lead to death. Therefore, early screening is important for patients' prognosis.

Objective To simulate local hemodynamic factors at particular arterial positions.Method A combination of high-lipid diet and immuoreactive injury was used to establish a hyperlipemia and atherosclerosis model in rabbit.Serrial sections were analysed by OLYSIA software.Data of caliber at different positions of carotid bifurcation, areas and circumference and thickness of the atherosclerotic plaque at carotid bifurcation were obtained and to establish a geometric model of rabbit carotid artery bifurcation with Gambit software.Wall shear stress distribution of the carotid sinus were analysed by numerical simulation.Result 1) A geometric model of rabbit carotid artery bifurcation was obtained.2) The wall shear stress of the carotid sinus of the atherosclerosis(AS) model group was found to be lower than that of the control group at shear rate 128.5 S~(-1).The lowest wall shear stress of the control was 4.028 times that of the AS model. Conclusion Low wall shear stress is a risk hemodynamic factor in the development of atherosclerotic plaque.

Objective To investigate bone strength in adults, and explore its influencing factors. Methods One hundred and ninety-one adults undergoing health examinations were selected. The questionnaires about milk intake and exercise conditions were performed, the body weight, fat mass, body mass index(BMI)and calcaneal bone strength were measured, and the relationship between each parameter and bone strength was analysed. Results Bone suength decreased with age increase, and was higher in males than that in females.Bone strength of overweight to obese adults was higher than that with normal body weight(P<0.05).Bone strength of adults with high milk intake was higher than that of those with low milk intake(P<0.05).Multivariate analysis revealed that age was negatively related to bone strength, females were more susceptible to bone strength decrease, and BMI and milk intake were positively related to bone strength. Conclusion Gender, age,BMI and milk intake are main influencing factors for bone strength.Bone strength decreases with age increase, and increase of BMI and milk intake will benefit bone strength, especially for females.
