ObjectiveTo explore change trend of Cardiac Troponin Ⅰ (cTnI) and Heart Fatty Acid-binding Protein(H-FABP) in serum during the perioperation of valve replacement.MethodsForty patients with heumatoid valvular heart disease were selected for this study,and the patients were randomly divided into two groups.Blood samples were taken from center vein,and the serum levels of cTnI and H-FABP were determined.The change of the serum levels of these two markers at different time points was recorded and compared between two groups.ResultsThere were significant differences in the concentration of cTnl in the cold crystalloid cardioplegia group ( F between group =2744.397,P ＜0.01 ; F interaction =125.345,P ＜0.01 ).There were significant differences in the concentration of cTnI in the cold blood cardioplegia group ( F between group =1056.357,P ＜ 0.01 ; Finteraction=64.242,P ＜ 0.01 ).There were significant differences in the concentration of H - FABP in the cold crystalloid cardioplegia group ( F between group =1775.022,P ＜0.01; F interaction =34.297,P ＜0.01 ).There were significant differences in the concentration of H -FABP in the cold blood cardioplegia group ( F between group =3064.451,P ＜0.01; Finteraction=60.472,P ＜O.01 ).ConclusionsH-FABP is suitable for early diagnosis of myocardial injury because of its myocardial specificity.There are positive correlation between the peak of H-FABP and myocardial injury.There are effective and short period of window for prediction of myocardial injury caused by H-FABP.H-FABP may be served as a good myocardial injury diagnostic markers.

BACKGROUND:There is a certain cel subset in esophageal cancer tissues, with certain invasive and metastatic properties, which is closely related to the clinical therapeutic effect on tumors.
OBJECTIVE:To isolate tumor stem cel spheres in human esophageal carcinoma cel lines KYSE-150 and TE-1 and to analyze their proliferation and invasion ability. METHODS:KYSE-150 and TE-1 cels were cultured in serum-free medium to observe the formation of cel spheres. Cel proliferation and invasion were detected using MTT and Transwel chamber culture. Surface markers of cels were detected using flow cytometry. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Cel spheres that were stably subcultured were obtained from KYSE-150 and TE-1 cels cultured in serum-free medium. The proliferation and invasion abilities of cel spheres were significantly stronger than those of parent cels (P < 0.05). The number of CD44+, CD271+ and CD44+CD271+ cels in TE-1 and KYSE-150 cel spheres was significantly higher than that in the TE-1 and KYSE-150 parent cels (P < 0.05). These experimental results show that cel spheres isolated from human esophageal carcinoma cel lines TE-1 and KYSE-150 have tumor stem cel properties as wel as strong proliferation and invasion abilities. And moreover, CD44 and CD271 can be used as important surface markers of esophageal carcinoma stem cels. Aim To study the effect of resveratrol on proliferation of liver cancer SMMC-7721 cells and the relevant mechanism.Methods SMMC-7721 cells were treated with different concentrations of resveratrol.Cell proliferation was tested by cell proliferation assay and colony-forming experiment.The effect of resveratrol on cell cycle of SMMC-7721 cells was detected by flow cytometry.The activation of mTOR/p-mTOR proteins was detected by Western blot.Results Compared with control group, resveratrol inhibited SMMC-7721 cell proliferation in a dose-dependent manner(P<0.01);cell cycle detection showed that SMMC-7721 cells were arrested at G0/G1 phase by resveratrol;Westren blot assay showed that resveratrol down-regulated p-mTOR expression.Conslusion Resveratrol inhibits human SMMC-7721 cell proliferation and arrests the cell cycle at G0/G1 phase, while the inhibition mechanism may be related to activation of mTOR signaling pathway by resveratrol.

This article introduced the form of the rehabilitation evaluation discussion, which was moderated by the rehabilitation doctors, together with relevant therapists and nurses, aiming to discuss the obstacles and the rehabilitation plan for a difficult patient. This case showed the importance of early rehabilitation after stroke.

Objective To investigate the expression of PTEN and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in esophageal carcinoma and the relationship between their expression.Methods The expression of PTEN and VEGF were detected using immunohistochemical S-P method.Results Among 80 cases of esophageal carcino- ma,31 showed positive staining of PTEN (38.75%),while all 20 case of normal mucosa showed positiva staimng of PTEN.The expression level of PTEN in highly differentiated squamous carcinoma was higher than that low differ- entiated squamous carcinoma.Also,the expression of PTEN was significantly correlated with lymph node metastasis (r=0.61,P<0.01)and differentiation(r=0.57.P<0.05).In 80 cases of esophageal carcinoma,57(70.13%) were of positive staining of VEGF,while in 20 of normal esophageal mucosa,only 3 showed positive staining of VEGF.The expression of VEGF was markedly correlated with infiltrative deepness(r=0.49,P<0.05)and lymph node metastasis(r=0.55,P<0.05)and differentiation(r=0.48,P<0.05).Conclusion Combined detection of PTEN and VEGF maybe helpful to evaluate prognosis and infiltrative capability of esophageal carcinoma,with sig- nificant importance to the prediction of the prognosis of esophageal carcinoam.

Objective To examine the expression of angiopoietin-2(Ang-2) in squamous carcinoma of esophagus,and discuss the relationship between Ang-2 and microvessel density(MVD)and clinical pathological features of squamous carcinoma of esophagus.Method The expression of Ang-2 and CD34 in 80 squamous careinoma of esophagus and 25 normal esophagus were detected by immunohistochemistry SABC technique,and the MVD of tissues signed by CD34 was counted.Results The expression of Ang-2 in squamous carcinoma of esophagus was,higher than that in normal esophagus (P<0.05).The expression of Ang-2 in the stage O-I and II squamous carcinoma of esophagus was lower than that in stage Ⅲ and lV(P<0.05).The expression of Ang-2 in squamous carcinoma of esophagus was correlated with differentiation of esophageal carcinoma and lymph node metastasis and infiltrative deepness.There was a remarkable posidve correlation between the expression of Ang-2 and MVD in squamous carcinoma of esophagus (r=0.603,P<0.05). Conclusion The expression of Ang-2 may be elated to the development of squamous carcinoma of esopha- gus,and may promote the development of squamous carcinoma of esophagus by promoting angiogenesis in tumor.

Objective To observe the changes and clinical significance of plasma heart fatty acid-binding protein(H-FABP)in children after open heart surgery. Methods Forty patients with congenital heart disease(CHD) who had undergone cardiac operation with cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB) were selected in this study,and were randomly divided into two groups (each 20 cases): cold crystalloid cardioplegia perfusion group (Ⅰ group) and cold blood cardioplegia perfusion group(Ⅱ group). Blood samples were taken to check the plasma H-FABP concentration before CPB and different time after CPB. Plasma H-FABP concentration was estimated by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results The difference of plasma concentration of H-FABP before operation was not obvious between Ⅰ group and Ⅱ group. The plas-ma concentration of H-FABP intraoperation and different time after operation was higher than that before anesthesia induction obviously in two groups, and Ⅰ group rose more significantly [(50.13±3.98) μg/L vs (39.27±4.22) μg/L, P<0.01]. Conclusions H-FABP concentration after operation is higher than that before operation significantly. H-FABP can be used to judge myocardial damage earlier as a sensitive index, because plasma concentration of H-FABP increases significantly after open heart surgery, and its peak emerges early. Compared with cold crystalloid cardioplegia,the myocardial protection of cold blood cardioplegia is better.

Objective To investigate the differential expression levels and significance of regulatory T cell (Treg) and T helper 17 (Th17) related immunologic factors in peripheral blood of arsenic-exposed rats.Methods Thirty-two Wistar rats were numbered by weight,randomly divided into four groups [control,low (1.25 ml/kg),medium (2.50 ml/kg),and high (5.00 ml/kg)],8 rats per group.Rats in control group were given oral gavage of deionized water,and low,medium and high arsenic exposed groups were given oral gavage doses of 2.00 g/L sodium arsenite (NaAsO2) according to their body weight for 6 days every week.After 4 months,the urine and peripheral blood samples of rats were collected,urinary arsenic (uAs) was detected by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS),the results were shown in [median (minimum and maximum)],uAs was corrected by urinary creatinine (uCr),the unit was μg/g Cr;enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay (ELISA) was applied to detect the levels of Treg,Th17,T lymphocytes activation related immunologic factors [interleukin-10 (IL-10),transforming growth factor beta1 (TGF-31),IL-17,IL-6,IL-2],the results were shown in (x) ± s.Results The uAs of the rats was compared between control,low,medium,and high arsenic exposed groups [7.50 (3.16-9.81),72.34 (62.34-106.63),209.15 (154.41-232.20),369.73 (289.50-516.55) μg/g Cr],the differences were statistically significant (F =337.55,P ＜ 0.05).IL-10 [(85.03 ± 7.11),(93.96 ± 8.14),(97.48 ± 6.23),(93.47 ± 4.41) ng/L],TGF-β1 [(72.88 ± 2.96),(81.45 ± 8.15),(86.08 ± 7.55),(90.29 ± 5.35) ng/L],IL-17 [(18.15 ± 3.66),(25.54 ± 5.59),(31.48 ± 5.74),(37.25 ± 7.36) ng/L],IL-6 [(83.68 ± 8.48),(85.14 ± 7.11),(89.78 ± 5.36),(93.48 ± 5.77) ng/L],and IL-2 [(80.65 ± 6.90),(73.86 ± 8.00),(69.93 ± 7.77),(62.06 ± 9.82) ng/L] of the rats were compared between control,low,medium,and high arsenic exposed groups,the differences were statistically significant (F =5.094,11.054,16.249,3.474,5.119,all P ＜ 0.05).There were positive correlations between uAs and TGF-β1,IL-17 concentration (r =0.723,0.605,all P ＜ 0.01),while IL-2 showed a negative correlation (r =-0.484,P ＜ 0.05).Concltsion Arsenic exposure could affect the secretion of Treg and Th17 related immunologic factors,so as to the imbalance of anti-inflammatory and pro-inflammatory,which may play a role in the formation and development of arsenic-related immune injury.
