The peritoneum is one of the most common sites of gastric cancer recurrence or metastasis.Peritoneal metastasis seriously affects the patients life quality and shortens patients survival time,so early diagnosis and active treatment have a major impact on the prognosis. Continuous studies of some biomarkers and extensive using of ncw imaging technology make the early diagnosis of peritoneal metastasis more promising.Simultaneously,with the rapid development of intraperitoneal chemotherapy and molecular targeted therapy,there are more options in the treatment.
2.Determination of Ketoconazole in Disinfectant by HPLC

Objective To develop a method to determine the content of ketoconazole in the disinfectant by HPLC. Methods The separation was carried out on an ODS C18 column. Methanol-water (80+20) was used as the mobile phases. The flow rate was 1.00 ml/min, the detection wavelength was 239 nm. Results The linearity was obtained in the range of 1.00-100 ?g/ml for ketoconazole, the average recovery rates were 98.1%-99.8%. The difference in a day and in another day was less than 2%. The detection limit was 1.08 ?g/ml. Conclusion This method is simple, accurate, rapid and can be used as a quantitative analysis method for ketoconazole.
3.Protective Effect of KangAiZengXiao Decoction on Immunological Deficit Rats With Implanted Tumor

Objective To study the effect mechanism of anticancer synergic (KangAiZengXiao,KAZX) decoction on gastric cancer in immunologic deficit rats with implanted tumor. Methods Forty rats were divided into normal control group(n=10), model group(n=15) and KAZX treating group(n=15). Model group and KAZX group were subcutaneously injected axillary the left upper limb with 0 5ml gastri cancer cells,MGC-803 cell(1?10 7/ml) after irradiated by 60 Co(dose:10Gy). Then the three groups were treated with KAZX decoction or distilled water every day, respectively. 4.Assessment of patient satisfaction with multimodal analgesia management after total knee arthro-plasty

Objective To describe the patients′satisfaction with multimodal analgesia management after total knee arthroplasty. Methods 110 patients with total knee arthroplasty selected from February 2013 to February 2014 were recruited to complete a questionnaire, which was composed of the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) , the Houston Pain Outcome Instrument (HPOI), and the Scale of Perceptions of Patients′Pain. Results VAS scores at different times were ranged from (2.14±1.21) points to (1.19±0.62) points, mean rating for general satisfaction with pain management was 80.04% (136.06/170.00), satisfaction with education on pain control was only 63.20% (37.92/60.00). Patients with different age and educational level of satisfaction with pain control had significant differences (P<0.05). Patients who thought relieving pain was harmful was 56.4% (62/110), the patients who did not understand the impact of pain on the body was 62.7% (69/110), the patients who did not understand the common methods of analgesia was 59.1%(65/110), the patients who did not understand the adverse reactions of pain measures was 63.6% (70/110). Conclusions Patients′satisfaction with the analgesic effect of multimodal analgesia is higher after total knee arthroplasty, while satisfaction with education on pain control was lower. Nurses should strengthen health education to patients with total knee arthroplasty about knowledgement of multimodal analgesia.
5.Chemotherapy in elderly patients with advanced gastric cancer

New oral fluoropyrimidines,such as capecitabine and S-1,have been widely used for elderly patients with a certain efficiency and slight toxicity.Fluorouracil combined with platinum program probably enhances the effectiveness,but also increases the incidence of adverse reactions.There are a few clinical reports about triple-drug combination for elderly patients,but the toxicity is obvious and the efficacy is not certain.
6.Effect of the xingding allied piracetam injection on improvement of cognitive function in patients with vascular dementia

BACKGROUND: At present, there are many drugs and therapeutic methods for dementia at home and abroad. Both xingding and piracetam are the kind of improver for circulatory obstruction and protector for nerve cells and can slow down the functional decline of brain tissue and provide improvement for cognitive deficit.OBJECTIVE: To observe the improvement of allied application of xingding and piracetam on cognitive function in treatment of vascular dementia.DESIGNS: Case-controlled study based on patients.SETTING: Neurological Department in Affiliated Hospital of Henan University. PARTICIPANTS: Totally 91 cases of vascular dementia hospitalized in Neurological Department of First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University from October 2000 to March 2002, which were randomized into treatment group of 48 cases and the control of 43 cases.INTERVENTIONS: In treatment group, xingding injection of 20 mL and piracetam of 8 g were administrated and 50 g/L glucose injection 250 mL was added respectively for intravenous injection, once daily and 14 days made one session. In the control, piracetam of 8 g was prescribed with 50 g/L glucose injection 250 mL added for intravenous injection, once daily and 14 days made one session. There was no any difference in other medication treatment. One month later after treatment of two groups, he patients were re-examined with mini-mental state examination(MMSE) and Hasegawa dementia scale(HDS) was used to assess the cogitative improvement and neurological defect scale(NDF) was used to analysis the improvement of neurological functional symptoms.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: ① Scores of MMSE, HDS and NDF in two groups. ② Analysis on therapeutic effects.RESULTS: Totally 91 cases entered the analysis on the results. There was no significant difference in MMSE and HDS before treatment in two groups. In treatment group, after treatment, MMSE and HDS scores were (23.26±5.12) and(2.78±3.46) respectively, indicating significant difference(t=4.79, 15.44, P<0.01) compared with the control(19.14 ±3.21)and(15.21±2.29) . NDF score was 13.68±7.83 after treatment and the significant difference was presented compared with the control(17.33 ±8.81) . The total effective rate(total remarkable rate + progression) was 92% in the treatment group and was 56% in the control. By the comparison between two groups, the difference was significant(χ2= 15.48, P<0.01).CONCLUSION: After treatment, MMSE score in treatment group was higher than that in the control and HDS score was lower than that in the control, explaining that xingding allied piracetam significantly improves cogitative function in the treatment of vascular dementia.
7.Influence of effective ingredients of Chinese kidney-tonifying drugs on rat bone healing and hemorheology

BACKGROUND: Chinese kidney-tonifying herb is commonly used in orthopedics department. However, individual effects of different ingredients remain poorly understood. OBJECTIVE: To observe influence of effective ingredients of Chinese kidney-tonifying drugs on bone healing and hemorheology of rats with bone injury. METHODS: Rat model of fracture of shaft of the femur was established, and treated by intragastric administration separately with extractive rhizoma drynariae total flavonoids, epimedium total flavonoids, dodder total flavonoids, naringin, quercetin and hesperidin. Blood and bone samples were harvested after 21 days to detect the extent of bone healing and hemorheology indexes. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The effective constituents of different Chinese kidney-tonifying drugs were beneficial to bone healing, and the effect of rhizoma drynariae total flavonoids and epimedium total flavonoids was better than the other drugs. Rhizoma drynariae total flavonoids and epimedium total flavonoids effectively inhibited blood viscosity under low shear, and reduced erythrocyte aggregation index and the aggregation and adhesion of platelet (P < 0.05), but it had no evident effects on erythrocyte deformation. This shows that the effective ingredient of the Chinese kidney-tonifying drugs can promote bone healing and exert certain effects on hemorheology. In particular, rhizoma drynariae total flavonoids exhibits the best effect.
8.Inhibition of autophgay enhances resveratrol-induced apoptosis of human chondrosarcoma cells

AIM:Toinvestigatewhetherautophagyisup-regulatedwhenresveratrol(Res)inducesapoptosis in chondrosarcoma , and to study the effects of autophagy inhibitor combined with Res on chondrosarcoma .METHODS:SW1353 cells were divided into 4 groups: control group, Res group, 3-methyladenine (3MA) group, and Res +3MA group.Electron microscopy was used to observe the autophagyosomes in control group and Res group .At the same time, the viability of the cells in the 4 groups was detected by CCK-8 assay.TUNEL staining and Western blotting (for determi-ning the levels of cleaved caspase-3, Bax and Bcl-2) were used to reflect levels of apoptosis in all groups .The expression of autophagy-related proteins Beclin 1, LC3-Ⅱ and p62 was detected by Western blotting .RESULTS: Exposure of the cells to Res resulted in a decrease in cell viability and an increase in the level of apoptosis ( P<0.05 ) .Compared with control group, the level of apoptosis was increased but the autophagy was decreased (P <0.05).Compared with Res group, the cell viability and the level of autophagy were decreased and the level of apoptosis was increased ( P<0.05 ) . CONCLUSION:Resveratrol induces apoptosis and autophagy , and inhibition of autophgay enhances resveratrol-induced apoptosis in chondrosarcoma .

10.Effect of castration on restenosis after precutaneous transluminal angioplasty in male rats.

OBJECTIVETo observe the developing changes of adventitia in restenosis after precutaneous transluminal angioplasty(PTA), and investigate the effect of androgen on restenosis through contrasting the castrated male rat models and its mechanism.
METHODSModels were constructed of castrated male rats and restenosis of the common carotid artery, and specimens were collected at the 3rd, 7th, 14th and 28th day respectively after modeling. Hematoxylin and eosin staining, immunohistochemical staining, and electronic microscopy were performed to observe the condition of restenosis.
RESULTSProliferating cells occurred in adventitia first and phenotype of adventitial cells was changed at the 3rd day after PTA. The adventitial proliferating index was the highest at the 7th day after PTA, and proliferating migration towards intimal was observed. The proliferating cells mostly occurred in the middle layer and neointima at the 14th day after PTA. The areas of adventitia and neointima were larger and the degrees of restenosis were higher in the castrated rats than in the non-castrated ones at different time points. Take the 14 d group, the adventitial area was[(3,566 +/- 337) micron2 vs (2,751 +/- 401) micron2, P = 0.008], the neointimal area[(3,553 +/- 477) micron2 vs (2,757 +/- 435) micron2, P = 0.025], the restenosis rate[(76 +/- 2)% vs (60 +/- 8)%, P = 0.005], and the proliferating index [(29 +/- 2)% vs (13 +/- 1)%, P < 0.001].
CONCLUSIONAdventitial proliferation and migration contribute to restenosis after PTA; Androgen in rats can physiologically relieve restenosis, probably through intervening in the activation of adventitia.
