1.The study of comprehensive experimental teaching methods on nursing management
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2003;0(03):-
Teachers develop integrated experiments on nursing management in laboratory center of nursing teaching. By using the methods of imitation and role-play,students exercise nursing management theories and skills that they have learnt to digest related knowledge. In this way, teachers train the students'comprehensive capabilities of communication and coordination, creative thinking, parsing and solving questions and improve the outcome of teaching practice on nursing management to provide clues for more and better integrated experiments.

Objective:To examine the potential hemispheric asymmetry of conflict control in two subtypes of children with ADHD(25 of predominantly inattentive,i.e.,ADHD-I;and 31 of combined,i.e.,ADHD-C).Methods:A cross-modal interference task was used,in which the auditory distractors were provided either from the left ear or from the right ear and they constituted congruent, incongruent or neural relations with targets displayed at the screen center of the computer. Results:Children with ADHD showed an distinctive pattern of error rate when distractors were provided from the left ear compared with the normal controls, with a significant conflict effect for ADHD(effect size was 4%),F(1,110)=18.16,P0.1.Moreover,children with ADHD showed a tendency of a reversal inhibition effect(effect size was-1.7%),F(1,110)=3.16,0.050.1.Conclusion:The results suggest that children with ADHD showed atypical pattern of their right hemisphere in conflict control compared with normal children, the atypical pattern of right hemisphere for ADHD-C need to be further studied.

Objective To optimize the formulation of the Garlic oil ?-CD sustained-release tablet. Methods The preparation formulation of the sustained-release tablet was optimized by orthogonal design which took the released rate as the index. Result The optimized formulation contained 9% HPMC, 15% lactose, 10% PVP, 10% microcrystalline cellulose. The ingredient of Garlic oil sustained-release tablet by this formulation was released slowly in 8 h. Conclusion The optimized formulation is rational and stable, the tablet could be released slowly.

Objective To establish a method of HPLC gradient elution method determination of Notoginsenoside R1, Ginsenoside Rg1 and Rb1 in Naodesheng Capsules. Methods Kromasil C18 column was used with a mobile phase of acetonitrile-water gradient elution, column temperature at 25 ℃. Results Notoginsenoside R1, Ginsenoside Rb1 and Ginsenoside Rg1 showed good linear relationship at the range of 0.495~1.782 ?g (r =0.9999), 2.65~9.54 ?g (r =0.9995), 1.85~6.66 ?g (r =0.9999), respectively. The average recovery:Notoginsenoside R1 was 100.60% (RSD=1.99%), Ginsenoside Rb1 was 100.86% (RSD=2.19%) and Ginsenoside Rg1 was 98.83% (RSD=1.95%), respectively. Conclusion The methods is simple, accurate, highly sensitive and reproducible. It can be used for the quantitative determination of Notoginsenoside R1, Ginsenoside Rg1 and Rb1 in Naodesheng Capsules.

Objective Inflammation is considered as a driving force in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease. We study the inhibitory effects of indomethacin on production of nitric oxide (NO) in ?-amyloid 1-42 stimulated microglia in vitro, in order to explore the role of ?-amyloid and microglia in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease, and that admimistration of anti-inflammatory drugs might be an effective therapeutic modality. Methods We cultured murine microglia BV-2 cells to serve as the model of microglia for experimentation in vitro. Indomethacin in different concentrations (10 -9 , 10 -8 , 10 -7 , 10 -6 and 10 -5 mol/L) was added separately without or with ?-amyloid 1-42 20?mol/L, and culture was continued for 12h. The production of nitric oxide (NO) and the activity of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) in the supernatant of culture were determined. iNOS mRNA expression was assessed by RT-PCR. Results There was no effect in the production of NO and the activity of iNOS in BV-2 cells incubated with indomethacin alone. Indomethacin could inhibit NO production and lower iNOS activity and iNOS mRNA expression after microglia were stimulated by ?-amyloid 1-42, and the inhibitory effect was obvious at the concentration of 10 -7 -10 -5 mol/L. Conclusions As a conventional non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAIDs), indomethacin can inhibit NO production, decrease iNOS activity and iNOS mRNA expression in BV-2 microglia after being stimulated by ?-amyloid 1-42 in vitro. The results suggest that the mechanism by which indomethacin might be beneficial in treatment of AD might be due to the inhibition of NO production from microglia, blocking the inflammatory cascade reaction to ameliorate injury to neuron. As an effective model in vitro, BV-2 microglia are valuable in the study of Alzheimer's disease.

Objective To establish a determination method of Allicin in Garlic oil Sustained-release Tablets. Method Diamonsil C18 column was used with a mobile phase of mathanol-water-formic acid (80∶20∶0.1). The detective wavelength was at 218 nm. The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min. Column temperature was at 25 ℃. Results Allicin showed a good linear relationship at the range of 0.05~0.25 ?g (r=0.999 9). The average recovery rate was 99.5% (RSD=1.7%). Conclusion The method is simple, accurate, highly sensitive and reproducible. It can be used for the quantitative determination of Allicin in Garlic oil Sustained-release Tablets.

Objective: To explore the role of corticosterone in morphine-induced acute psychomotor activity and behavioral sensitization. Methods: 32 male SD rats were divided into four groups. Rats were intraperitoneally given saline, morphine, corticosterone and corticosterone/morphine separately. The horizontal locomotor activity was recorded for 60min by the computer trace system automatically. The locomotor activity was measured in every two days for total seven times. Results:The corticosterone/morphine group showed significant morphine-induced acute psychomotor effect comparing with the saline group(saline group 7175?676, corticosterone/morphine group 10365?503,P

Objective To investigate the clinical effects of endoscopic pancreatic duct stent insertion. Methods The clinical data of 20 cases of endoscopic pancreatic stent insertion, including 12 cases of chronic pancreatitis,3 cases of recurrent pancreatitis,2 cases of papilla adenoma after resection,3 cases of pancreatic carcinoma, was retrospectively reviewed from June 2004 to September 2006.All the patients underwent endoscopic pancreatic sphincterotomy and pancreatic stent insertion after endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP).Results All the 20 patients received 23 procedures of pancreatic stent insertion.Stent-preserving time was 25-105 days(mean,64.5 days).2 cases experienced stent migration and no postoperative pancreatitis occurred.20 patients were followed up for 6 to 12 months, including 17 patients for 12 months.During a follow-up period of 3 months in the 12 cases of chronic pancreatitis,1 case received repair because of duodenal perforation induced by ERCP,and the symptoms of abdominal pain or discomfort disappeared or were distinctively relieved in 9 and 2 cases, respectively, with weight gain 2-5 kg(mean,3.2 kg).A follow-up period of more than 3 months showed that the remission rate of abdominal pain was 92%(11/12).The jaundice was alleviated(with the average of decrease of 61.8 percent of total bilirubin in serum) and weight gained in the 3 cases of pancreatic carcinoma after the biliary and pancreatic duct plastic stents were inserted at the same time.Patients with recurrent pancreatitis had no relapse in the follow-up period. Conclusions The endoscopic pancreatic duct stent insertion is a safe and minimal invasive procedure, and can prevent postoperative pancreatitis, but the main complication of stent migration should be considered.
