Objectives To investigate the proliferation and apoptosis of smooth muscle cells(SMCs) after implantation of NiTi radioactive stents. Methods Radioactive and nonradioactive stents were implanted in abdominal aortas of 76 rabbits. The proliferation and apoptosis of SMCs were observed using immunohistochemistry and TUNEL.Results (1) Neointima areas on radioactive stents were less than those on nonradioacvtive stents at 1-month and 3-month respectively (P0 05).(2)The expressions of PCNA were lower in radioactive stent groups at different times compared with those of controls(P0.05).Conclusions (1) Radioactive stents can reduce the neointima areas on the implanted stents.(2)Radioactive stents can inhibit the proliferation of SMCs.(3)Radioactive stents promote the apoptosis of SMCs.

Objective To investigate the occurrence of postoperative healthcare-associated infection(HAI)in pa-tients with hepatobiliary malignant tumor, explore the related risk factors,so as to provide the basis for taking ef-fective prevention and control measures. Methods The occurrence of postoperative HAI in patients with hepatobili-ary malignant tumor in a hospital from January 2012 to December 2014 were retrospectively analyzed, risk factors for postoperative HAI were analyzed through reviewing and collecting patients’medical data. Results A total of 302 patients were investigated,42 (13.91 %)developed postoperative HAI,no multiple site infection occurred, the main infection site was deep surgical site (n=10,23.81 %),followed by lower respiratory tract (n=9,21 .43%) and digestive system (n=7,16.67%).Of 42 infection cases,38(90.48%)were sent specimens for pathogenic cul-ture,36 pathogenic strains were isolated,31 (86.11 %)of which were gram-negative bacteria, and 5 (13.89%) were gram-positive bacteria.Multivariate logistic analysis showed that operation duration≥2 hours (OR =1 .48), overweight (or obesity)(OR=1 .40),and preoperative radiotherapy (OR=2.98)were independent risk factors for postoperative HAI in patients with hepatobiliary malignant tumor (all P <0.05).Conclusion Incidence of postoper-ative HAI is high in patients with hepatobiliary malignant tumor, risk factors are long length of operation,over-weight (or obesity),and preoperative radiotherapy, effective prevention and control measures against risk factors should be taken.

Objective To discuss the methods and evaluate the effects of initial muscle-enclosing protection of large segment of exposed Achilles tendon and second stage repair of Achilles tendon rupture complicated with cuta-neous defect. Methods Among patients treated between August 2005 to April 2014 in our hospital, there were 32 patients, who were diagnosed with Achilles tendon rupture complicated with cutaneous defect.Of the 32 patients, there are 21 male and 11 female.Their ages range from 23 to 69,with an average age of 46.2 ±3.5.In all the patients described above, there are soft tissue contusion injuries and cutaneous defects on their posterior lower legs near the ankles, with the area of skin defects ranging from 3cm ×4cm to 5 ×12cm,and the Achilles tendons were ruptured, extracted, dissociated and completely uncovered. All patients were initially treated with triceps surae muscle-enclosing method to put aside and protect the large segment of exposed Achilles tendon.Later, the ruptured Achilles tendons were repaired, together with the transfer of skin flap to repair skin defects,at the second stage. The therapeutic effects were evaluated during postoperative follow-up periods. Results The mean follow-up period was 18 months, ranged from 11 to 32 months.According to the therapeutic effect evaluation standard of Arner-Lindholm,there were Excellent results in 22 patients,Good in 7 cases and Poor in 3 cases, with a combined excellent/good rate of 90.62%.Conclusion Initial muscle-enclosing protection of large segment of exposed Achilles tendon and second stage repair of Achilles tendon rupture complicated with cutaneous defect is advantageous to the function of patients with rapid recovery.

Objective :
To explore the role of Argonaute ( Ago) gene and RNA⁃Dependent RNA Polymerase (RDRP) gene of Aspergillus flavus in the growth and development about the RNAi mechanism .
Methods :
A. flavus Ago1 , Ago2 , RDRP1 , RDRP3 gene mutant strains were constructed by homologous recombination . The growth and development of the mutant strains were observed on potato dextrose agar(PDA) + uracil uridine (UU) medium inoculated with 3 μl 106 CFU/mL spores . 200 , 400 μg cell wall pressure agent conidored ( CR) , 0. 8 mol/L , 1 . 6 mol/L osmotic pressure agent NaCl , 2 mmol/L , 4 mmol/L oxidative pressure agent hydrogen peroxide (H2 O2 ) and 0. 01% , 0. 02% genomic damage agent methyl mesylate (MMS) were added to the Yeast extract Glucose Minimum (YGM) + UU medium to analyze the stress response of the mutant strains .
Results :
A. flavus mutant strains about ΔAgo1 , ΔAgo2 , ΔRDRP1 , ΔRDRP3 were successfully constructed and its growth and development were normal . The ΔAgo1 and ΔAgo2 strains reduced the stress effects on cell wall and osmotic pressure compared to the control . Ago1 gene deletion reduced the effect of H2 O2 , and conversely RDRP3 gene deletion increased the inhibition of H2 O2 . The Ago2 and RDRP1 strains reduced the effect on genetic damage agent . In addition , ΔRDRP1 increased the effect of osmotic stress .
Conclusion
The Ago1 , Ago2 , RDRP1 and RDRP3 genes of A. flavus are not in⁃ volved in the regulation of growth rate and asexual reproduction and can participate in the regulating of the host stress response to the environment .
