Radiotherapy after breast conserving surgery for breast cancer is an important part of comprehensive therapy, and breast conserving surgery combined with radiotherapy for early stage breast cancer has been widely recognized.Modern radiotherapy techniques including three-dimensional conformal radiation therapy (3D-CRT) and intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) have obtained reasonable application in breast conserving therapy.Radiation reaction and cosmetic result are important factors to evaluate radiotherapy after breast conserving surgery.Radiation reactions and cosmetic results of different radiotheraies are different and each has its own characteristics.

Objective To investigate the changes in the expression of phosphor-p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (p-p38MAPK) in the distal cerebrospinal fluid contacting neurons (CSF-CNs) in rats with neuropathic pain. Methods Forty-eight male adult SD rats aged 2-3 months weighing 230-270 g were randomly divided into 2 groups (n =24 each): sham operation group (group S) and chronic constrictive injury group (group CCI).Neuropathic pain was induced by CCI.Sciatic nerve was exposed and 4 loose ligatures were placed on the sciatic nerve at 1 mm intervals with 4-0 silk thread.Thermal withdrawal latency (TWL) was measured with radiation heat stimulus before (baseline) and 1,3,5,7,14 d after CCI in 4 animals at eachtime point in each group. The animals were then sacrificed.30% cholera toxin subunit B with horse radish peroxidase 3 μl was injected into the lateral ventricle at 48 h before the animals were sacrificed at each time point. The brain tissue in the region of the midbrain aqueduct was taken. The number of distal CSF-CN expressing p-p38MAPK was calculated.p-p38MAPK was detected by histochemical staining. Results The TWL was significantly shortened at 1-14 d after CCI in group CCI as compared with group S.The number of distal CSF-CNs expressing p-p38MAPK was significantly increased at 5-14 d after CCI in group CCI as compared with group S.Conclusion The distal CSF-CNs may be involved in the neuropathic pain induced by CCI through p38MAPK signaling pathway.p38MAPK may contribute only to the maintenance but not development of neuropathic pain.

Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(10):764-767
18 F-FDG PET-CT has been widely used for the diagnosis, staging and assessment of therapeutic response in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).In particular, the technique plays an important role in the prediction of the response to therapy in patients with locally advanced NSCLC.It can dynamically observe the tumor tissue metabolism, and according to the changes of 18 F-FDG uptake by visual or quantitative analysis, before and after treatment, allow prediction of the early efficacy of locally advanced NSCLC with chemotherapy and (or) radiotherapy in clinical or sub-clinical levels.

Objectives To investigate the regularity of fluctuation and clinical senses of serum c reactive protein (CRP) level in patients with acute cerebral infarction (ACI) Methods 100 subjects (56 males and 44 females) were divided into five groups including 24 large artery arteriosclerosis (LAA), 27 small artery occlusion (SAO), 2 cardiac embolism(CE), 34 other Certain(OC) and 13 undetermined etiology according to Trial of ORG 10172 in Acute Stroke Treatment (TOAST) Through enzyme linked immunoabsorbent assay (ELISA), we detected and analyzed CRP levels of 100 inpatients Results The risk factors of stroke included coronary heart disease , hypertension, diabetes and intoxication of CO and so on Among the above mentioned, the level of CRP and rate of positive CRP of patients who poisoned by CO was the highest That of coronary heart disease group was lower However, there was no notable difference between hypertension and diabetes groups Conclusions CRP may play a certain role in the occurrence and development of ACI It represents different levels in different types of stroke

Objective: To select the optimum alcohol concentration of Shangtong Tincture. Methods: The percutaneous absorption test was performed on excised rats skin in improved Franz diffusion cell. The penetrative amount of paeonol was determined quantitatively by HPLC and the content of paeonol as a marker. Results: The penetrative amount of paeonol of Shangtong Tincture with 60%~80% alcohol concentration have a optimal value, the average rate is 0.010mg/cm 2?h. Conclusion: Shangtong Tincture with 70% alcohol concentration is the best.

Objective: To explore the differential expression of tumor associated antigen CA X in tumor cells in vitro and in vivo . Methods: Tumor xenografts of the human lung adenocarcinoma cell line SpcA1 were grown in athymia mice. The antigen was measured before and after xenograft by Western blotting and flow cytometric analysis. Results: The antigen CA X was a glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 170 000 to 200 000 . Human lung adenocarcinoma cell lines regain expression of antigen CA X when xenografted into athymia mice. Conclusion: These data indicate that CA X synthesis in human lung adenocarcinoma cells SpcA1 is regulated by factors presented only in the xenograft.

Journal of Environment and Health 1993;0(03):-
Computer-administered neurobehavioral evaluation system (NES)was developed based on the neurobehavioral core test battery (NCTB)recommended by WHO/NIOSH in 1985. Compared with NCTB,the reliability and validity of NES was much improved and some disadvantages of NCTB were made up in NES. This article reviewed the history of NES development, its application in the evaluation of children's neurobehavioral functions and its defects. The studies suggested that some items of NES test, such as finger tapping, continuous performance test and hand-eye coordination, could be used to evaluate earlier damage induced by chemicals on neurobehavioral functions of children.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1982;0(03):-
To investigate the mechanism of low responsiveness of cultured human intestinal epithelial cells (IECs) to LPS stimulation, IL-8 secretion level was detected by ELISA in supernatants harvested after the IECs were treated with LPS for 18h, and TLR4, TLR2, CD14 and MD2 mRNA were detected by reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) and RNase protection assay(RPA). It was found that IL-8 was not detectable after IECs were treated with LPS and the expression levels of TLR4, TLR2, CD14 and MD2 mRNA of IECs were low and after exposed to LPS, the expressions of TLR4, CD14 and MD2 mRNA of IECs became further lower, whereas the expression of TLR2 mRNA didn't change obviously. The result suggests that low expressions of LPS signal transduction-associated receptors on IECs may be responsible for low response of IECs to LPS, so it confirms further that TLR4, CD14 and MD2 play important roles in transmembrane LPS signal transduction.

[Objective]To evaluate the usability of endoscopy for the diagnosis of rhinorrhea.[Methods]An analysis was made on the rhinorrhea figure and letter data among 100 cases undergone endoscopy via the route of nasal cavity. All the cases were diagnosed as rhinorrhea.[Results]All of the cases were seen turbinates tumescence or mucous hyperemia and edema changes.Different changes reflected asthenia or sthenia of the 4 types of syndrome.[Conclusions]It is very valuable for combining endoscopy with TCM in the diagnosis with syndrome differentiation of rhinorrhea.
