1.Clinical characteristics of type 2 diabetes with cerebral infarction in serile patients

Objective To analyze the clinical characteristics and risk factors of type 2 diabetes with cerebral infarction in senile patients. Method 52 patients with type2 diabetes and cerebral infarction(group A), 62 cases with-out diabetes mellitus(group B)were enrolled in this study. Waist circle(Wc), body mass index(BMI), blood pressure, blood fat,blood glucose(BG), glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1C), fasting insulin,leptin and adiponectin were determined in each group. Results Recurrent, multi - focal and large-area infarcts were more common in group A than in group B, and levels of systolic blood pressure (SBP), DBP, PBG, FINS, TG, LDL-C and apoB100 were increased, while levels of adi-ponectin were decreased and high density lipopretein(HDL) and apolipoproteinA1 (apoA1) were increased in group A (P<0. 05). Conclusion Recurrent, multi-focal and huge area infarcts are more common in group A. Cerebral infarc-tion patients with diabetes mellitus than non-diabetic group with a high mortality rate,characterized by high disability.
2.Investigation on KAP of health education for parasitic diseases in two provinces of southwest China

Objective To explore the pertinent communication strategy of health education for parasitic diseases.Methods A cross-sectional study was carried out.Before the health education intervention,the knowledge,attitude and practice(KAP)for parasitic diseases of 199 and 250 farmers in two provinces of Sichuan and Yunnan in southwest China were investigated with questionnaire by using the method of PPS.Results Most of the farmers used the simple and crude toilets and their health status were poor,and there were only 7.57% of people having the bio-gas facilities.The awareness rate of the knowledge on malnutrition caused by parasitic diseases was 34.30% and the awareness rate of knowledge about anemia caused by parasitic diseases was 29.62%.There were 81.74% of farmers who believed helminthic drug and 74.61% of people who tended to buy drug by themselves.The health knowledge of the residents mainly came from the interpersonal communication and TV,and the farmers preferred TV,poster and brochure to get the health knowledge.Conclusion The health education with posters,TV and intervention communication is one of the important measures to control parasitic diseases.
3.Effect of Tiny Incision Blind-cut Suck-erasion on Unhairing and Preserving Armpit Hair in Treating Bromhidrosis

[Objective] To compare and analyse the clinical effect of tiny incision blind-cut suck-erasion on unhairing and preserving armpit hair in bromhidrosis.[Method] Select 429 cases of 851 sides in our hospital, divide them into treatment group(blind-cut suck-erasion+unhairing) 308 cases with 609 sides, and control group(blind-cut suck-erasion+preserving armpit hair) 121 cases with 242 sides. Make statistics and compare their complications in recent and forward stages, also the recurrence and residual of peculiar smel after 1 year. [Result] For the treatment group, 38 sides had the recent compli-cation of hematoncus, 30 sides had partly skin necrosis, 12 had bad cut cure, 70 had early slight hardening and contracture skin; for the forward complica-tions: 27 sides had focal slight scar, 3 severe scar, 23 focal subcutaneous sac lump with infection, 3 peculiar smel residual and recurrence. To the control one, for the recent complications, 11 sides had hematoncus, 9 partly skin necrosis, 5 bad cut cure, 13 early slight hardening and contracture skin; for for-ward complications, 8 sides had focal slight scar, 1 severe scar, 3 focal subcutaneous sac lump with infection, 38 peculiar smel residual and recurrence. By comparison, on early slight hardening and contracture skin and focal subcutaneous sac lump with infection, the treatment group was higher than control one;other complications had no difference of statistical meaning;on radical cure rate, the treatment group was obviously more than control one, with dif-ference of statistical meaning. [Conclusion] The tiny cut blind-cut suck-erasion is definite in treating bromhidrosis, the operation removes subcutaneous apocrine sweat gland, meanwhile removes the hair fol icle and sebaceous gland complexus, the therapy is very thorough, with better cure effect, less recur-rence, without increasing complications.
4.Professor Ling Changquan's experience in treating primary liver cancer: an analysis of herbal medication.

On the basis of outpatients' medical records concerning primary liver cancer (PLC), data of 552 patients (with 2020 effective prescriptions) from the Outpatient Department of Changhai Hospital treated by Professor Ling Changquan were collected. The nature, flavor and meridian distribution of the herbs used in the prescriptions were summarized by frequency method, and the features of the herbs used according to syndrome differentiation were analyzed by logistic regression. The couple herbs used were analyzed by cluster analysis. All the data were analyzed in combination with the experience of the specialist. It showed that most of the frequently used herbs were herbs for invigorating the spleen to promote appetite, removing toxic materials to inhibit tumor growth, and activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis. These herbs are mostly of plain or cool nature, and mainly of sweet, bitter, or acrid taste. It also showed that the most frequently used herbs for qi deficiency were Astragalus membranaceus, Atractylodes macrocephala, and Pseudostellariae; Caulis Spatholobi and Chinese jujube for blood asthenia; Fructus Corni and Ophiopogon japonicus for yin deficiency; Agastache rugosa, Semen Plantaginis and Poria for water-dampness; cape jasmine fruit and baikal skullcap root for heat excess; peach seed and Radix Paeoniae Rubra for blood stasis; Curcuma wenyujin, Akebia trifoliata and Bupleurum chinese for qi stagnation. A total of 19 pairs of couple herbs were summarized by the cluster analysis.
5.Development and maintenance of zebrafish resources, and the China Zebrafish Resouce Center

Zebrafish is a relatively new and booming vertebrate animal model.Over the past three decades, ze-brafish has been applied in various aspects of life science, as well as health sciences, environmental studies and aquacul-ture research.To meet the requirement for different research purposes, large amounts of zebrafish resources, including mu-tant and transgenic lines, have been developed with different techniques.All of these resources need well and careful col-lection and maintenance, therefore several zebrafish resource facilities have been built worldwide.As one of them, the Chi-na Zebrafish Resource Center (CZRC, http://zfish.cn) was founded in 2012.This review is trying to introduce the devel-opment and maintenance of zebrafish scientific resources, and the updated progress of CZRC.
6.Development of Stereo Magnetic Intravenous Infusion Dressing

Objective To develop medical equipment suited for medical care.Methods The secondary auxiliary wings were added inside the original intravenous infusion dressing clips on the left and right,and then a new stereo magnetic infusion dressing came into being with the medical 3M sticking membrane and glutinous magnetic woundplast.Results The Stereo Magnetic Intravenous Infusion Dressing was gifted with the functions of observing,supporting,and fixing the sting area.The model successfully passed the animal experiments.Conclusion The new stereo magnetic infusion dressing,easy to use,can satisfy the requirements of medical care.
7.Analysis of risk factors to acute lung injury based on multiple trauma *

Objective To investigate the risk factors to acute lung injury based on multiple trauma to provide a theoretical basis for early intervention .Methods The emergency surgical patients with multiple trauma in our hospital from March 2006 to March 2011 were selected .The patients meeting the diagnostic criteria for acute lung injury were taken as the study group and the others as the control group .All patients were enrolled for evaluating the injury severity score (ISS) ,acute physiology and chronic health Ⅱ(APACHE Ⅱ) score and recording smoking ,alcohol abuse ,diabetes mellitus ,number of organ damage ,gastrointestinal bleeding , pulmonary contusion ,diffuse intravascular coagulation (DIC ) ,vomiting ,traumatic shock ,time to correct shock ,blood transfusion . The polymorphism of rs3788853 ,rs13306087 ,rs12709426 of angiotensin-converting enzyme(ACE) gene were analyzed .Results In the study group and the control group ,there were statistical differences in 6 influencing factors of the ISS ,APACHE Ⅱ score ,blood transfusion ,DIC ,traumatic shock ,time to correct shock>6 h(P<0 .05);the gene and genotype frequencies of ACE between the two groups had no statistical difference (P>0 .05);the 6 kinds of influencing factors were risk to acute lung injury based on multi-ple trauma by Logistic regression analysis .Conclusion The ISS ,APACHE Ⅱ score ,blood transfusion ,DIC ,traumatic shock ,long time to correct shock are the risk factors to acute lung injury based on multiple trauma .
8.Study on Key Scientific Problem of Dynamic Evolving Rule of Syndrome of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Based on the theory of topological structure within the syndrome of tradition Chinese medicine (TCM), the high order multiple dimensions and nonlinear structure of syndrome can be cracked. And the panorama of complex and changeable syndrome can be showed. The dynamic evolving law of sub-sets of syndromes and the changing rule of the main signs and symptoms with the secondary signs and symptoms can be interpreted. Therefore, the evolving law of sub-sets of syndromes and the accurate corresponding law of prescriptions and medicines can be realized. And the scientific connotation of dynamic evolving rule of syndrome can be revealed. Studying on the occurrence regularity of syndrome, the structure characterization of TCM syndrome can be carried out. And the mathematical structure-physical structure-biological structure can be revealed. Along with the mass new specific forms of syn-dromes to be cracked, the simulation data platform of therapeutic methods with prescriptions and medicines of syn-dromes can be built through the simulation technology of computer. Using the clinical data, through the literature of carding and contrast, the scientific connotation of judgment and diagnostic standard of syndromes can be interpreted. The distracting law of syndromes of diseases can also be revealed through the clinical data of syndrome-groups. And the theoretical basis for the formulation of judgments and diagnostic standard of syndromes of diseases which con-forming to the dynamic evolving law of syndromes can be provided. Evaluation on TCM efficacy can be carried, in order to make clear the curative effect evaluation index system of TCM syndrome in multiple dimensions and multi-ple levels for the promotion of the substantially improvement of syndrome differentiation level.
9.Expression of CD23 and CD19 on peripheral blood lymphocytes and its association with sreum total IgE in patients with allergic rhinitis

Objective:To explore the expression of CD23,CD19 on peripheral blood lymphocytes as well as its association with serum total IgE levels and nasal allergic symptoms in patients with allergic rhinitis(AR). Method:Symptom scores were evaluated in 46 AR patients,expression of CD23,CD19 on peripheral blood lymphocytes were measured by flow cytometry,and serum total IgE levels were determined by immune chemiluminescence. Thirty two healthy individuals were enrolled as controls.Result:The percentage of CD23~+,CD19~+ and CD23~+/CD19~+,on peripheral blood lymphocytes in AR patients were 11.6±1.9,22.8±3.3,10.2±1.7,respectively.Higher frequencies of CD23~+,CD19~+,and CD23~+/CD19~+ were found in AR patients compared with controls (P<0.05).There were positive correlations between expression rates of CD23~+,CD19~+,CD23~+/CD19~+ and levels of serum total IgE,nasal allergi symptom scores,respectively.CD23~+ /CD19~+ demonstrated greater correlations with serum total IgE and nasal allergic symptom(r=0.65 and 0.49,P<0.05)than CD23~+ and CD19~+ did.Correlation between CD23~+/CD19~+ and nasal allergic symptom scores was greater than the corresponding correlations of serum total IgE(r=0.33,P<0.05).Conclusion:CD23 and CD19 are important factors that associated with serum total IgE in the pathogenesis of AR,Analysis on the expression of CD23~+/CD19~+ on peripheral blood lymphocytes is helpful for evaluating the severity of AR.
10.Dosimetry study on conformal radiation therapy, intensity modulated radiation therapy and intensity modulated arc radiotherapy in middle thoracic esophageal cancer

Objective To compare the dosimetry of three different radiation therapy plans [threedimensional conformal radiation therapy (3DCRT),intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT),intensity modulated arc radiotherapy (IMAT)].Methods Selected 15 cases with middle thoracic esophageal cancer,Varian Eclipse 8.6 planning systems were designed with 3DCRT,IMRT,IMAT,3DCRT using 5-8 coplanar radiation fields,IMRT using 7 coplanar radiation fields,IMAT using 2 radians.Three planned dose difference were compared.Results Compared with 3DCRT,IMRT and IMAT were better with heterogeneity index (HI),conformality index (CI),VPTV 95 %,V5,V20,V35 of total lung,and V30 of heart (t =2.531,P< 0.05).There was no statistically significant difference for the V10,V15,V25,V30 mean dose of total lung,the mean dose of heart,the maximum dose of spinal cord,and the minimum dose of PTV among the three plans (t =1.325,P >0.05).Conclusion IMAT and IMRT are similar in the middle thoracic esophageal cancer radiotherapy target volume dose coverage and organs at risk protection,they are better than 3DCRT.IMAT in the monitor units and delivery time are less than IMRT.
