1.Prof. WANG Shou-chuan’s Experience in treating children tourette,s Syndrome according to pathomechanism of wind and phlegm

Prof. WANG Shou-chuan thought that children Tourette’s syndrome were due to wind and phlegm accumulation interior, imbalance between yin and yang. It is a manifestation excess include wind that is excess wind of liver wind and lung wind and deficiency wind due to yin deficiency, phlegm that is phlegm-fire and phlegm-turbidity; and root deficiency lying in the liver, spleen and kidney. He treated the patients with the main method of eliminating phlegm and extinguishing wind, according to the pathomechanism of wind and phlegm, accompanied with pacifying liver and purging fire, dispelling phlegm and calming mind, strengthening the spleen and nourishing the heart, nourishing the liver and tonifying the kidney. He produced the formula Fengning decoction, modif ication according to the symptoms of the patients. Its curative effect was remarkable and should be widely applied in clinic.
2.Metoclopramide-induced Children Poisoning:Retrospective Analysis of 56 Cases

OBJECTIVE:To study the incidence,the etiological factor and the harm of metoclopramide-induced children poisoning.METHODS:We reviewed 30 reports published in Chinese Pharmaceutical Abstracts(2003~2006)and domestic pediatric journals and gave a comprehensive evaluation on the confirmed 56 metoclopramide-induced children poisoning cases.RESULTS:All of the 56 poisoning cases were induced by oral administration and all had high daily dose.The condition was predominantly characterized by posterior tilt of head,stiffing of root of tongue,ataxia,upward staring or side-glance etc.Metoclopramide has inhibition effect on leucocytes,and it can result in cumulative poisoning,especially for children with hepatorenal inadequacy.CONCLUSION:Great attention should be attached to the dose and course of treatment of metoclopramide to enhance drug efficacy while reducing incidence of adverse drug reactions.
3.To study the influence of Madopar for serotonin in platelet of Parkinson's disease patients

Objective To study the influence of madopar for 5-HT in platelet of Parkinson's disease patients.Methods To observe 5-HT in platelet of 35 PD cases in our hospital who take Madopar in one year.At the same time,to observe the mental symptoms change of every case before and after the treatment.Result Madopar can significantly lower the 5-HT of platelet in one year treatment,and HAMD score results show that Madopar significantly higher before treatment.Conclusion Madopar can damage serotonin neurons in the brain,which may enhance the patients with depressive symptoms.
4.Mechanism and abnormal expression of sox4 gene in tumor

Recent studies have revealed that sox4 gene expresses abnormally in many kinds of tumor tissues and it probably involves in tumorigenesis,development and metastasis of cancer.Regulating proliferation,differentiation,apoptosis and other process may participate in the work mechanisms of sox4 gene.Therefore,further studies about the relationship between sox4 gene and tumor would provide new ideas of exploring special diagnosis markers and novel targets for tumor therapy.
5.Caring sarcopenia for cancer patients: review

Sarcopenia is one of common clinical symptom in patients with cancer,which can be regarded as a poor prognosis independent risk factors of disease and death.The main measurements of sarcopenia are magnetic resonance imaging,computerized tomography and positron emission tomography.Sarcopenia is frequently associated with cachexia,and have an influence on the anti-tumor therapeutic influence with each other.In recent years,a mass of clinical research on the application of exercise,nutrition support and drugs,and other comprehensive intervention in patients with sarcopenia emerging constantly,and much achieved good results.The clinical value of sarcopenia in cancer therapy can not be ignored,which should be given more attention.Its mechanism is complex,and intervention means become more various,but more evidence of efficacy and safety is still needed.
6.Practicable value of DAP (dose-area product) database in occupational radiation protection in cardiovascular interventional procedures

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of the DAP database in reducing radiation hazards during cardiovascular intervention.Methods The study conducted a retrospective analysis of all consecutive cardiovascular cases in the database from April 1st,2016 to June 30th,2016.Based on the imaging systems,an inage intensifier (Ⅱ) and a flat panel detector (FPD),the cases of patients undergoing coronary angiography (CAG) and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) were collected to observe Body Mass Index (BMI),fluoroscopy time (FT) and dose area product (DAP).Results The FT and DAP values in CAG were (3.26-±2.59) min and (1 938±1 296) μGy·m2 for the Ⅱ system and (3.00 ± 2.89) min and (3 718 ± 2 859) μGy· m2 for the FPD system,respectively,whereas,the FT and DAP values in PCI were (17.81 ± 12.71) min and (8 899 ±7 032) μGy·m2 for the Ⅱ system and (21.99 ± 15.91) min and (19 526 ± 14 134) μGy · m2 for the FPD system,respectively.The differences in DAP values (x ± s) for CAG and PCI between the angiography systems were significant(t =-10.664,11.239,P < 0.05).The DAP and total DAP values during PCI for fluoroscopy from the FPD systen were 3 596 755.60 and 4 881 484.50 μGy · m2,respectively.Conclusions The DAP values in CAG and PCI using FPD system are much higher than the relevant data.The use of an FPD system resulted in higher DAP values compared to the Ⅱ system in cardiovascular interventional procedures.Reduction in fluoroscopy time may decrease radiation hazards during PCI.The DAP database allows for a fast,convenient and enough objective data to discovery timely difference and variation in dose in cardiovascular interventional procedures.
7.Treatment of enchondroma of the hand with porous calcium phosphate bone bioceramic

[Objective]To report the results of treatment of enchondroma of the hand with curettage and porous bioceramic bone grafting. [Methods]Fifteen patients with digital enchondroma were reviewed.The average follow-up period was 30 months.The final function and radiographic appearance of the surgically treated digits were analyzed.[Results]At final evaluation the bony incorporation was uneventful in all patients.The mean functional Muskuloskeletal Tumor Society Score was 29.Radiographs showed apparent partial absorption of bioceramic bone in only two patients.All digits achieved full range of motion after surgery.No complication was found.[Conclusion]Porous bioceramic bone is safe and effective as a bone-filling substance after curettage of enchondroma of the hand.

Objective To compare the effects between Milrinone and Lrh-BNP for treating the peripartum cardiomyopathy heart failure.Methods After treated by routine measure,39 serious PPCM patients were randomized into two groups,with 20 to Milrinone group for the advanced therapy between 5 to 7 days,and 19 to Lrh-BNP group therapy 24 hours. Results The total efficient rate in Lrh-BNP group(95%) was more higher than that in Milrinone group(73.6%).The index of heart function such as LVEF,FS,E/A,SV,CO,CI,24 hours urine quantity,dyspnea could improve in both groups after the therapy(P
9.A preliminary study of the movement of space-occupying pancreatic lesions and its influencing factors

Objective To investigate the movement and its influencing factors of the space-occup ying pancreatic lesions and provide a reference for the safe margin between CTV and PTV in accurate radio therapy.Methods Gold fiducials were implanted into the lesions of 16 pancreatic carcinoma patients by percutaneous punctures under B-uhrasonographic guidance.The movements of these markers were measured under the X-ray simulator system in the x,y and z axial directions,respectively.The relevant influencing fac tors were analyzed.Results The motion amplitudes of pancreatic lesions were 0.1-0.3 (mean 0.16 ± 0.06) cm,0.1-0.4 (mean 0.25 ±0.12) em and 0.5-1.6 (mean 0.88±0.24) cm in the x,y and z axi al directions,respectively.The movements were not associated with the height,weight,age,tumor location or tumor size.Conclusions The motion of the space-occupying pancreatic lesions is mainly influenced by the respiration,especially with the maximal amplitude in the z axial direction.Therefore,the motion in the z axial direction should be given more consideration when determining the PTV margin.
10.Effects of different nutrition intervention on alimentary tract reconstruction in knowledge and practice nutrition and efficacies of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus

A total of 206 patients of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) were assigned into the trial group (n =156) and the control group (n =50) according to whether real object-based diabetic diet was provided.Traditional nutritional education for both groups during hospitalization.The patients in the trial group received a real object-based diabetic diet guided by a nutritionist who adjusted feeding regimens and skills before and after operation.The control group had a free access to a normal diet.The patient understanding of knowledge,attitude and practice (KAP) was examined by nutrition surveys.And their postoperative nutrition states and complications were assessed by questionnaires during a 6-month follow-up.The total average score of cognitive divided was 93.4 ± 7.5,the average score of diet therapy knowledge 13.8 ± 1.6 and the average scores of attitude and practice 9.6 ± 1.9 and 32.2 ±3.9.Significant differences existed between two groups (P < 0.05).The incidence rates of hypoglycemia,hyperglycemia and gastrointestinal obstruction were lower than the control group (P < 0.05,P < 0.01).It suggested that real object-based diabetic diet guidance plus traditional nutrition education could improve the KAP level and may lower the incidence of postoperative complications in T2DM patients with gastric bypass.
