Journal of Practical Radiology 2001;0(09):-
Objective To research the special manifestations of magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography(MRCP) in carcinoma of pancreatic head. Methods MRCP in 22 cases with pancreatic head carcinoma confirmed by operation and pathology (including SE sequences with T1WI and fat saturation,FSE with T2WI and fat saturation and MRCP in coronal sectior) were performed before operations.Additional CE MRA on abdominal vessels including abdominal ateries, portal veins and superior mesenteric arteries and their veins in 16 cases also examined before operations. Results Carcinomas of the pancreatic head were diagnosed correctly by MRCP in 21 cases, and 1 case was misdiagnosed as chronic pancreatitis. MRCP all demonstrated abrupt interruption at pancreatic head segments of dilated left common bile duct and main pancreatic duct at the pancreatic head ones, their left segments were dilate with higher signal and both didn't cross each other, because they were destroyed by carcinomas of pancreatic head. Destruction and no cross each other of pancreatic head segments of choledochus and main pancreas duct,it was called "no cross sign". CE MRA demonstrated destruction of abdominal ateries in 3 cases, portal vein in 3 cases and superior mesenteric vein in 4 cases and not being resected. Conclusion "No cross sign"on MRCP examination is of important value in diagnosis of carcinoma of the pancreatic head.

Objective To observe the therapeutic efficacy of auricular point sticking in preventing pain after perianal abscess surgery.Method Sixty patients going to receive radical perianal abscess surgery admitted by the First Affiliated Hospitalof Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine between December of 2015 and February of 2016 were enrolled and randomized into an ordinary group and an auricular point sticking group. Pain was scored at different time points after the surgery and the use of analgesics was also recorded.Result There were significant inter-group differences in comparing the pain intensity from 6 h after the surgery till 7:30 on the next day of the surgery (P<0.05);the between-group differences in comparing the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) scores from the 2nd day till the 7th day despite of the dressing change time were unstable(P>0.05,P<0.05); the differences in pain intensity at the dressing change were statistical significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Auricular point sticking can effectively treat mild-moderate pain in the early stage after perianal abscess surgery at non-dressing-change time, and it can also produce a satisfactory effect in preventing moderate-severe pain at dressing change after perianal abscess surgery.

Objective To investigate the serum levels of tumor markers CEA,CA724,PGⅠ,PGⅡ,PGI/PGII and SF in gas-tric cancer. Methods The serum levels of CEA,CA724,PGⅠ,PGⅡ,PGI/PGII and SF were detected in 46 healthy con-trols,45 atrophic gastritis patients and 39 gastric cancer patients.Serum levels of CEA,CA724 were measured by ELC meth-od,PGⅠ,PGⅡ by time resolved fluorescence immunoassay (TRFIA)and SF by immunoturbidimetry(ITM).Results ①Compared to the healthy controls, the statistical contrast of serum levels of CEA,CA724,PGⅠ,PGⅡ and PGI/PGII except SF was significant in gastric cancer patients(P<0.05),only PGⅠ,PGⅡ,SF had significant difference in atrophic gastritis patients (P<0.05).Compared to atrophic gastritis patients, the serum levels of CEA,CA724 were significantly higher, but PGⅠwas lower in gastric cancer patients(P<0.05).②When CEA,CA724,PGⅠ,PGⅡ,PGI/PGII and SF were used to di-agnose gastric cancer individually, the sequence of the area under ROC curve was CEA,SF,CA724,PGI/PGII,PGⅡ and PGⅠ.Only the areas of PGⅠ,PGⅡunder ROC curve had significant statistical difference (P<0.05).③The sensitivity,speci-ficity,PPV and NPV were different when these indexes were used to diagnize gastric cancer individually or incorporatedly. Conclusion The serum levels of tumor markers CEA,CA724,PGⅠ,PGⅡ,PGI/PGII and SF had important reference value for the diagnosis of gastric cancer although the diagnostic value was different individually or incorporatedly;the content of serum PG and the ratio of PGI/PGII were closely related to the gastric mucosa.
