The biobank has become an important support to the development of medicine.This article analyzed the necessity of enhancing the ethical management of biobank from the aspects of resource utilization,social cognition and participation,and ethical supervision of its construction.It pointed out strict qualification approval,criteria formulation and regular supervision in ethical intervention,analyzed five existing ethical conflicts in biobank construction,and discussed the main points to be considered in ethical supervision.

The yin-yang theory in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) is one of the most important contributions of China,s medicine science for the whole medical system of human beings.One can not neglect the theory of yin and yang when mention TCM.The concept of du(translated as toxicity) has been developing for a long history,to the current times,it has become rich in the Chinese medicine pathological factor with the characteristics of the current times.However,the question about the yin and yang properties of du has not been widely discussed,while the overall concept for grasping the nature of the disease is very important.In this paper,the evolution of the TCM concept of du,the pathogenic characteristics of yin and yang properties are included in the hope of a start,and of causing the interest to explore together,and promote researching of drug evil to guide clinical practice.

Most military hospitals lack sufficient support from medical universities and therefore are confronted with a bottle -neck in graduate education. Based on the real conditions of military hospitals, this article introduces the practice and achievement in graduate education in our hospital by expanding the enrollment access, promoting the admission publicity, stressing the disciplinary balance, improving the supervisors′abilities, and enhancing teaching quality. With considerations on the four aspects of supporting strength of scientific research, stratified design of disciplines, construction of teaching quality, and innovation of training modes, it pro-vides some experience in graduate education with a view of giving reference for other military hospitals.

Objective: To investigate the effect of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori)　on the synthesis of cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1)　and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) in gastric epithelial cells. Methods: a VacA(+) and CagA(+) international standard H. pylori line NCTC11637 and a human gastric epithelial carcinoma cell line BGC-823 were used. Western Blotting was applied to detect the synthesis of cyclooxygenase. Results: The content of COX-2 protein increased obviously after the cells were incubated with H. pylori sonicating extract for 1　h and the increase lasted for at least 6　h whereas the content of COX-1 protein did not change during the incubation with H. pylori extract. H. pylori lipopolysaccharide (LPS) had no effect on COX-2 synthesis. Conclusion: H. pylori stimulated the synthesis of COX-2 in BGC-823 cells and the effect was LPS-independent.

The construction of harmonious doctor-patient relationship is an important project in social medicine .The influen-cing factors about doctor-patient relationship are analyzed from three aspects which are responsibility ethics , bottom-line ethics and clin-ic ethics.Based on the discussion , certain countermeasures are proposed to reconstruct harmonious doctor -patient relationship .

Objective To observe the therapeutic efficacy of auricular point sticking in preventing pain after perianal abscess surgery.Method Sixty patients going to receive radical perianal abscess surgery admitted by the First Affiliated Hospitalof Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine between December of 2015 and February of 2016 were enrolled and randomized into an ordinary group and an auricular point sticking group. Pain was scored at different time points after the surgery and the use of analgesics was also recorded.Result There were significant inter-group differences in comparing the pain intensity from 6 h after the surgery till 7:30 on the next day of the surgery (P<0.05);the between-group differences in comparing the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) scores from the 2nd day till the 7th day despite of the dressing change time were unstable(P>0.05,P<0.05); the differences in pain intensity at the dressing change were statistical significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Auricular point sticking can effectively treat mild-moderate pain in the early stage after perianal abscess surgery at non-dressing-change time, and it can also produce a satisfactory effect in preventing moderate-severe pain at dressing change after perianal abscess surgery.

Refractive surgery for myopia is a common operation and has been performed on millions of patients .Improved technology has increased the satisfaction of patients and physicians .Surgery must follow the basic requirements of medical ethics , to ensure the safety and best interests of the patients .The choice of procedure depends on individual patient indications and ocular exami -nations .Before the surgery , the opthalmologists must ensure that the patient understands the potential risk of the operation and has re -alistic expectations for the visual acuity postoperatively .

With the social development, the importance of medical records has become increasingly prominent.This paper analyzes the methods and shortcomings of the current medical record quality control and proposes a new mode under two-level randomized blind method combining with the experience of our own hospital.This new mode, through reconstructing the work team, adjusting work pattern and task allocation, supervising problems rectification, combining with experts′ supervising terminal record, inspecting link record randomly, handling dissent, evaluating connotation quality and assessing performance, effectively reduced the defect rate of medical records, improved the archiving rate and promoted the quality of medical records, which is worth promoting.

Purpose:To investigate the clinical effects of pneumatic lithotripsy (PL) under a ureteroscope for the treatment of ureteral stones.Method:From April 1996 to April 2000,252 patients with ureteral stones undergoing PL was retrospectively analyzed.Results:Among 252 cases, 238 had a satisfactory therapeutic effects with the successful rate being 94.4 %.8 cases failed to placement of ureteroscope and the successful rate for the insertion of ureteroscope was 96.8 % (244/252). During operation, ureteral stones in 6 cases were not dealt with well with the successful rate of PL being 97.1% (238/244).Conclusion:The therapeutic effects of PL under ureteroscope in the treatment of ureteral stones were reliable and the recovery after operation was rapid.PL was an ideal therapy for ureteral stones.

Objective To explore the expressions and significance of Galectin‐3 and Bcl‐2 in colorectal tissues of patients with ulcerative colitis(UC) .Methods Immunohistochemical SP method was applied to detected the expression of Galectin‐3 and Bcl‐2 in colorectal tissues of 60 patients in UC group and 20 healthy adults in the control group ,and analyzed the relationship of the expres‐sions between Galectin‐3 and Bcl‐2 .It was regarded as positive cell when obvious dark brown granules appeared in cytoplasm or cyteblast .Semi‐quantitative analysis was used basing on the staining intensity and the amount of the staining intensity and positive cells .Results Galectin‐3 and Bcl‐2 proteins expressed in cytoplasm .Galectin‐3 showed strong expression in normal colorectal epi‐thelium but weak in UC inflammatory tissues ,and it was associated with different lesion degrees under endoscopy .The expressions of Bcl‐2 were weak in normal colorectal epithelium ,and it enhanced significantly in UC inflammatory tissues ,especially in inflamma‐tory cells of laminae propria ,and it was not associated with different lesion degrees under endoscopy .The expression of Galectin‐3 and Bcl‐2 was not associated with the age ,sex of patients and the course of UC .Pearson correlation analysis showed that the posi‐tive expressions of Galectin‐3 and Bcl‐2 had no relevance .Conclusion Galectin‐3 and Bcl‐2 involved in the pathogenesis of UC . They may be able to used as markers of early diagnosis and prognosis in UC and may play the role in the pathogenesis of UC inde‐pendently .
