The main purpose of this study is to observe and analyze the characteristics and the clinical significance of long-term echocardiogram data in patients after mechanical aortic valve replacement operation. Fifty-five cases were recruited over 5 years after mechanical aortic valve replacement operation, with complete echocardiogram examination profiles. The 55 subjects were divided into predominate aortic stenosis group and predominate aortic regurgitation group, based on preoperative examinations. And another way of division was also carried out that according to the effective orifice area index (EOAI), the subjects were divided into three groups, i. e. , severe prosthesis-patient mismatch (PPM) group, moderate PPM group, and non PPM group. Characteristics of long-term echocardiogram data of the subjects were analyzed. Patients with aortic stenosis showed significantly decreased thickness of intraventricular septum and left ventricular posterior wall about half a year after operation (P < 0.05). Half a year after operation, patients with aortic regurgitation showed decreased left ventricular internal dimension diastole and left ventricular internal dimension systole, and increased ejection fraction (P < 0.05). Differences in mean aortic valve pressure gradient, forward blood flow across the aortic valves, and ejection fraction were not significant among those with severe PPM, moderate PPM, and non PPM groups (P > 0.05). Number of cases of ascending aorta dimension increased as time goes on and pathogenesis of other valve diseases. A conclusion could be drawn that the heart function of patients with aortic valve disease could be improved after mechanical aortic valve replacement operation, but pathologies in other valves and ascending aorta might be increased, and therefore periodical postoperative echocardiogram evaluation with long-term pharmaceutical therapy could be necessary.

Objective The study aimed to compare the vector system with the hand instrument in the pain severity during scaling and root planning.Methods 60 periodontal patients were randomly divided into two groups for supportive periodontal therapy (SPT):the experimental group (using vector system) and the control group (using gracey instruments),with 30 cases in each group.And the painfulness after SPT was evaluated by Visual Analogue Scale (VAS).Results 66％ patients felt mild pain during the supportive periodontal therapy with the application of vector system,while 36％ patients felt mild pain in the control group.24 patients in the experimental group accepted vector system for SPT and 23 patients in the experimental group felt less fear of the treatment.Conclusions Patients will feel less discomfort with the application of the vector system,therefore better compliance will be reached.And the cooperation of the doctors and nurses has great impact on the treatment effect.

【Objective】To explore the role of cell cycle regulators in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) relapse.【Method】To assay p53,MDM2,p21ras and p21WAF1 proteins by LsAB immunohistochemical technique in 69 cases of primary and relapsing NPC tissues.【Results】As compared with primary NPC,the expression rate of p53 or MDM2 protein in relapsing NPC was similar (78% to 80%,84% to 83%),and the expression rate of p21ras or p21WAF1 protein in relapsing NPC was obviously descended (73% to 93%,52% to 84% );the high-expression rate of p53 protein in relapsing NPC was similar (42% to 51%),the high-expression rate of MDM2 protein in relapsing NPC was obviously risen (57% to 32%),and the high-expression rate of p21ras or p21WAF1 protein in relapsing NPC was obviously descended (16% to 65%,17% to 46%).Among of them,the significant rise of MDM2 protein expression level in relapsing NPC mainly occurred in the patients of group 2 which relapsing-interval was shorter than 34 months,P<0.05;the significant descent of p21ras or p21WAF1 protein expression level in relapsing NPC occurred in the patients of group 2 and group 1 which relapsing-interval was equal to or longer than 34 months,P<0.02,respectively.【Conclusions】The overexpression of p53 and MDM2 proteins and the low or negative expression of p21WAF1 protein after clinical cure might still play an important role in NPC relapse,the obvious rise of MDM2 protein level and the obvious descent of p21WAF1 protein level might further accelarate the process of NPC relapse.

[Objective] To investigate the expression of eukaryotic translation initiation factor 5A2 (EIF5A2) and its clinical significance in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC).[Methods] Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of EIF5A2 protein in 135 cases of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma,and analyzed the correlation between the expression of EIF5A2 protein and clinicopathological parameters,and its prognosis value.[Results] Immunohistochemical analysis showed that 68 cases were overexpressed in 135 cases of ESCC.Pearson's chi-square test indicated that the expression of EIF5A2 in ESCC was significantly correlated with T stage (P =0.006),lymph node metastasis (P =0.031) and clinic stage (P =0.026).The Cox proportional hazard model analysis showed that EIF5A2 was an independent prognostic risk factor for ESCC patients.Kaplan-Meier analysis showed that the median survival time of patients with the low expression was 72.5 months,which was significantly higher than that of patients with the high expression,the median survival time of it are 51.7 months (P ＜ 0.05).[Conclusion] The overexpression of EIF5A2 may contribute to the development and progression of ESCC and EIFSA2 could be a novel potential prognostic marker for ESCC.

Objective To examine the effect of oral external suction on environmental pollution of microorganism in dental clinic.Methods Aerobe was counted na observation index of air contamination and air sample of the area leveal 1m and 2.5 m,hight 1m,which using oral cavity collectors of aspirator or not was collected by the method of sedimentation.Results The datum of the group with oral cavity collectors of aspirator was much lower than the group without it.Conclusion Environmental pollution from tooth treatment in dental clinic can be reduced by using oral extemal suction.

Objective To investigate the epidemiology of BDV infection in Yili horses and Yili donkeys and to analyze phylogenetic source of BDV in Yili area, Xinjiang. Methods We established fluo- rescence quantitative nested RT-PCR to detect BDV p24 segment in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of 518 Yili horses and 206 Yili donkeys in Yili area, Xinjiang. Positive products were validated by detecting BDV p40 segment and plasmid to preclude the contamination, and were sequenced to analyze the homology of gene sequence, amino acid sequence and phylogenetic tree. Results The positive rates of BDV infection in PBMCs of 518 Yili horses and 206 Yili donkeys were 0.97% and 1.94%, respectively. The results of BDV p40 segment verification were positive in all of the samples of BDV p24 positive. All the samples tested were not contaminated by plasmid. There was a homology of the gene sequence of positive PCR samples with strain He/80. And the gene sequence revealed more than 93% identical to H1766 and strain V. Conclusion Our study suggested BDV natural infection in Yili horses and Yili donkeys. The en- demic BDV had a high degree of identity to strain He/80.

Objective:To investigate the short term efficacy of laparoscopic assisted transanal total mesorectal excision (taTME) for low rectal cancer.Methods:The prospective study was conducted. The clinicopathological data of 80 patients who underwent laparoscopic assisted taTME for low rectal cancer in 8 medical centers，including 27 cases in the First Affiliated Hospital of Jilin University，16 cases in the Daping Hospital of Army Medical University，15 cases in the Beijing Friendship Hospital of Capital Medical University，10 cases in the Peking University Cancer Hospital，7 cases in the Peking Union Medical College Hospital of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences，2 cases in the Peking University People′s Hospital，2 cases in the Liaoning Cancer Hospital Institute，1 case in the Ruijin Hospital of Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine，from August 2017 to September 2018 were collected. Observation indicators：(1) clinical data of enrolled patients；(2) surgical situations；(3) postoperative histopathological examination；(4)postoperative complications and hospitalization. Measurement data with skewed distribution were represented as M(range). Count data were described as absolute numbers and (or) percentages. Results:(1) Clinical data of enrolled patients：a total of 80 patients were selected for eligibility. There were 59 males and 21 females，aged from 53 to 79 years，with a median age of 61 years. (2）Surgical situations：all 80 patients underwent surgery successfully，including 73 cases undergoing low anterior resection，4 cases undergoing Hartmann operation，1 case undergoing intersphincteric and abdominoperineal resection，1 case undergoing other operations and 1 case missing operation information. Nineteen of the 80 patients underwent transabdominal and transanal operations simultaneously. The operation time of 80 patients was 255 minutes (range，211?305 minutes). Of 80 patients，77 cases had the volume of intraoperative blood loss ≤500 mL，3 cases had the volume of intraoperative blood loss >500 mL，44 cases underwent instrumental anastomosis，24 cases underwent manual anastomosis，12 cases were missing anastomosis information，66 cases had specimens been taken out through anus，2 cases had specimens been taken out through Pfannens-tiel incision，10 cases had specimens been taken out through other ways，2 cases were missing the information of specimens removal ways，57 cases underwent preventive stoma，32 cases under-went anal canal indwelling，30 cases underwent free of splenic flexure and 2 cases were converted to open surgery. (3) Postoperative histopathological examination：of 80 patients，68 cases had the integrity of mesorectal specimens with complete，5 cases had the integrity of mesorectal specimens with near complete，1 case had the integrity of mesorectal specimens with not complete，6 cases were missing the information of integrity of mesorectal specimens，1 case had rectal perforation，1 case had positive circumferential margin and 1 case had positive distal margin. The number of lymph node dissected and diameter of tumor were 12(range，9?16) and 3.0 cm(range，1.9?4.0 cm) of 80 patients. Four of 80 patients achieved pathological complete remission. Cases with tumor stage as T0 stage，Tis stage，T1 stage，T2 stage，T3 stage or T4 stage of the pT staging，cases with tumor stage as N0 stage，N1 stage or N2 stage of the pN staging，cases with tumor stage as M0 stage or M1 stage of the pM staging were 4，2，11，24，35，4，55，21，4，75，5 of 80 patients. (4) Postopera-tive complications and hospitalization：8 of 80 patients underwent anastomotic leakage，including 2 cases with grade A anastomotic leakage，4 cases with grade B anastomotic leakage and 2 cases with grade C anastomotic leakage.Seven of 80 patients underwent intestinal obstruction. The 2 cases with grade A anastomotic leakage were improved after symptomatic drug treatment，the 4 cases with grade B anastomotic leakage were improved after treatment with antibiotics or catheter drainage and the 2 cases with grade C anastomotic leakage were improved after operation. The duration of hospital stay of 80 patients was 14 days(range，11?21 days). No patient died during hospitalization.Conclusion:Laparoscopic assisted taTME for low rectal cancer is safe and feasible，which has a good short term efficacy.

Rubus corchorifolius(Shanmei or mountain berry,2n=14)is widely distributed in China,and its fruits possess high nutritional and medicinal values.Here,we reported a high-quality chromosome-scale genome assembly of Shanmei,with contig size of 215.69 Mb and 26,696 genes.Genome comparison among Rosaceae species showed that Shanmei and Fupenzi(Rubus chingii Hu)were most closely related,followed by blackberry(Rubus occidentalis),and that environmental adaptation-related genes were expanded in the Shanmei genome.Further resequenc-ing of 101 samples of Shanmei collected from four regions in the provinces of Yunnan,Hunan,Jiangxi,and Sichuan in China revealed that among these samples,the Hunan population of Shanmei possessed the highest diversity and represented the more ancestral population.Moreover,the Yunnan population underwent strong selection based on the nucleotide diversity,linkage dise-quilibrium,and historical effective population size analyses.Furthermore,genes from candidate genomic regions that showed strong divergence were significantly enriched in the flavonoid biosyn-thesis and plant hormone signal transduction pathways,indicating the genetic basis of adaptation of Shanmei to the local environment.The high-quality assembled genome and the variome dataset of Shanmei provide valuable resources for breeding applications and for elucidating the genome evo-lution and ecological adaptation of Rubus species.

Bivalves are species-rich mollusks with prominent protective roles in coastal ecosystems.Across these ancient lineages,colony-founding larvae anchor themselves either by byssus produc-tion or by cemented attachment.The latter mode of sessile life is strongly molded by left-right shell asymmetry during larval development of Ostreoida oysters such as Crassostrea hongkongensis.Here,we sequenced the genome of C.hongkongensis in high resolution and compared it to reference bivalve genomes to unveil genomic determinants driving cemented attachment and shell asymmetry.Importantly,loss of the homeobox gene Antennapedia(Antp)and broad expansion of lineage-specific extracellular gene families are implicated in a shift from byssal to cemented attachment in bivalves.Comparative transcriptomic analysis shows a conspicuous divergence between left-right asymmetrical C.hongkongensis and symmetrical Pinctada fucata in their expression profiles.Especially,a couple of orthologous transcription factor genes and lineage-specific shell-related gene families including that encoding tyrosinases are elevated,and may cooperatively govern asymmet-rical shell formation in Ostreoida oysters.

The rapid screening of tumor markers is a challenging task for early diagnosis of cancer. This study aims to use highly sensitive chemiluminescent protein microarray technology to efficiently screen a variety of low abundance tumor related markers. A new material, termed integrated polydimethylsiloxane modified silica gel (iPDMS), was obtained by adding a surface polymerization initiator with olefin end to the conventional polydimethylsiloxane, and fixing into the three-dimensional structure of polydimethylsiloxane by thermal crosslinking through silicon hydrogen bonding. In order to make the iPDMS material resistant to non-specific protein adsorption, a poly(OEGMA) polymer brush was synthesized by surface-initiated atom transfer radical polymerization at the active initiation site. Finally, 20 tumor-related antigens were printed into the specific areas of the microarray by high-throughput spray printing technology, and assembled into 48-well detection microtiterplates of the iPDMS microarray. It was found the VEGFR and VEGF121 autoantibodies that obtained from 8 common tumors (breast cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer, gastric cancer, liver cancer, leukemia, lymphoma and ovarian cancer) can be used as potential tumor markers. The chemiluminescence labeled iPDMS protein microarray can be used for the screening of tumor autoantibodies at early stage.
