International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2009;31(2):171-173
The study of traditional Chinese medicine and its complex prescription gradually adopted the methods of serum pharmacology, which has become a new researching thought and a gained more attention. In this article, the background of relevant researches, methodological discussions, analysis of the advantages and problems of serum pharmacology were reviewed. The serum pharmacology, for its unique value, will certainly has a brilliant prospect in its application to the research of traditional Chinese medicine and its complex prescription.

4.INFLUENCES OF FUNGUS MYCENAE SP.ON ACTIVITIES OF SOME ENZYMES AND EXTRACELLULAR PH OF PROTOCORMS OF DENDROBIUM CANDIDUM
Microbiology 1992;0(02):-
An elicitor from fungus Mycenae sp. enhanced the extracellular pH of protocorms of Dendrobium candidum in two stages and also inspired the activities of PAL, POD and LOX. The different elicitors were different in enhancing the pH. The activities of PAL and POD ascended twice after elicitors were applied. The protocorms treated twice by elicitor had the higher PAL activity.

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2009;25(6):421-424
Bejing Chaoyang Hospital provided medical service support as a designated hospital for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. In the course, the hospital is benefited in terms of its management system building, guarantee of medical service quality, effective connection within the service system,real-time improvement of medical service quality, comprehensive information management and development of the emergency treatment system. These experiences are being converted into part of the permanent mechanism, rendering profound influence on medical service support for large-scale activities in the future.

Objective: To discuss the value of preserving ICBN during modified radical mastectomy for breast neoplasms. Methods: Sixty-three cases of breast carcinoma who underwent modified radical mastecto-my were studied. Of them, ICBN was completely preserved in 33 cases and was dissected in 30 cases. Sen-sory function of the medial upper arm of all patients was followed up after surgery. Results: No local recur-rence or metastasis was found among the 63 patients during the first, sixth, and twelveth month of follow-up period. Among the 33 cases with ICBN reserved, 29 cases (87.88%) had normal sensation of the skin in up-per medial arm and axilla, while 4 cases (12.12%) had paresthesia. Conclsion: Preserving ICBN can en-hance the quality of life of breast cancer patients after surgery.

Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(07):-
[Objective]To investigate surgical therapeutic methods of recurrent lumbar disc herniation(RLDH).[Method]From December 1996 to December 2003,a retrospective analysis on surgical treatment of 74 cases of RLDH was made and those cases acquired 1~5 years follow-up.There were 41 males,33 females aging from 21~53 years(mean,37.2 years),case history was 6~192 months from primary surgery to disc reprolapse(mean,37 months).Among primary surgery,9 cases were total laminectomy,23 cases were hemilaminectomy,31 cases were windowing,11 cases were microdiscectomy with diskoscope.Re-surgery:5 cases treated with lumbar disc excision,45 cases treated with posterior lumbar interbody fusion(PLIF)technich,23 cases treated with transforminal lumbar interbody fusion(TLIF)technich.[Result]No death case occurred during peri-operation.Various complications were found in 18 cases which recovered by symptomatic treatment.Cases with lumbar disc excision left bed in 3 weeks with the help of lumbar back brace and cases with fusion surgery left bed in 3~5 d after surgery.Oswestry score improved from(52.32?9.17)pre-operatively to(20.33?5.72)in average 18 months follow-up.Totally 73.5% cases had satisfactory surgical results.[Conclusion]Cases with RLDH can adopt propotional surgical methods, thoroughly decompression and gain satisfactory therapeutic effect on bases of imageology, clinical manifestation and surgery history.

Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(23):-
[Objective] To observe the clinical effect of Bryan cervical prosthetic disc in treating ossification of posterior longitudinal ligament(OPLL)of cervical spine.[Method]From October 2005 to June 2007,15 localized OPLL patients were treated surgically by cervical arthroplasty using Bryan disc prosthesis.JOA score and radiological study were performed before and after operation. The range of movement(ROM)of replaced level were investigated postoperatively.[Result]Neurological deficit was alleviated in all patients. All patients were followed up at least 6 months,JOA score increased from an average of 8.5 to 15.8.Replaced segment restored the normal ROM in flexion and extension.[Conclusion]Cervical arthroplasty using Bryan disc prosthesis can achieve good clinical outcome in treating localized OPLL of cervical spine;and the normal ROM can be retained in the replaced level.

Objective To explore the effect of propofol and etomidate on anesthesia induction in pediatric surgery, and to provide evidence for the future use of anesthesia in pediatric surgery.Methods120 cases of pediatric surgery patients were prospectively selected pediatric in our hospital from May 2013 to January 2015 as the research object, randomly divided into 2 group respectively, control group and observation group, 60 cases in each group;the control group anesthesia was induced with etomidate, observation group anesthesia was induced with propofol, and the anesthetic effect were observed in the two groups, recovery and adverse reaction in the induction period of anesthesia.ResultsThe patients in the observation group anesthesia satisfaction scores were significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05) and the observation group;the recovery time and the time of leaving room were significantly shorter than the control group (P<0.05);in the observation group, respiratory depression, restlessness, throat and bronchial spasm, adverse reactions such as nausea and vomiting were significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05).ConclusionPropofol is more suitable for pediatric surgery than etomidate, and anesthesia effect is remarkable, fast recovery, worthy of clinical application and promotion.
