Objective To analyze the rented factors leading to successful treatment of ectopic pregnancy by conservative therapy and to explore importance of this therapy. Methods 152 patients with ectopic pregnancy performed with conservative treatment were randomly recruited into a methotrexate plus Chinese medicine group, a 5-fluorouracil plus Chinese medicine group and a exclusive Chinese medicine group. The curative rate and side effect were observed in groups, and the relation between the treatment condition and the curative rate was analyzed. Results There was no difference in curative rate among groups, while the side effect in the exclusive Chinese medicine group was lower than other groups. It showed high curative rate in patients with two or more conditions of having mass less than 3 cm, the level of bloodβ-hCG less than 1000 IU/L, and the depth of posterior fomix effusion less than 1 cm. Conclusion Among the treatments of ectopic pregnancy, Chinese medicine has fewer side effects. Fully evaluation on the treatment condition can improve the curative rate.

Guided by the antioxidant activity, the EtOAc-soluble and n-butanol-soluble fractions of the 50% methanol extract of Lonicera japonica leaves were isolated and purified by various chromatorgraphic methods, and the structures were identified by spectral analysis and comparison to the data reported in literature. As a result, nine compounds were obtained and identified as 5-O-caffeoylquinicacid (1), chlorogenicacid (2), 4-O-caffeoylquinicacid (3), luteolin-7-O-[α-L-arabinopyranosyl-(1 --> 6)] -β-D-glucopyranoside (4), luteoloside (5), 3,4-di-O-caffeoylquinic acid (6), 3,5-di-O-caffeoylquinic acid (7), 4, 5-di-O-caffeoylquinic acid (8) and luteolin (9). The antioxidant activity of the nine compounds were determined by using DPPH free radical scavenging method, and ascorbic acid was used as a positive control. Their antioxidant activities from high to low were 5 > 9 > 2 > 8 > 7 > 6 > 1 > 3 > 4. Among them, luteoloside (5) had the strongest antioxidant activity with an IC50 of 0.018 18 g x L(-1), and luteolin (IC50 0.023 6 g x L(-1)) and chlorogenicacid (IC50 0.035 17 g x L(-1)) ranks No. 2 and 3. Furthermore, the antioxidant activity of luteoloside and luteolin were stronger than that of ascorbic acid (IC50 0.027 54 g x L(-1)). These results gave a basis for the further study and utilization of L. japonica leaves.

Estimation of postmortem interval(PMI) by ocular tissues has been a new top subject in the forensic research and practice ifelds. A lot of research results showed that the changes of cornea, retina, vitreous humor and aqueous humor and so on exist a high linear correlation with PMI, which can be used to estimate PMI. This paper reviewed recent progress of study on them.

Objective To understand the relationship between clinical manifestations and Kashin-Beck disease(KBD) and their contribution to diagnosis of KBD and to construct the diagnosis model for KBD in adolescents.Methods A total of 2248 subjects under the age of 18 were collected from 6 KBD endemic and 1 non-KBD areas of the Shaanxi province in China.Analysis of 32 indicators,including gender,age,and KBD clinical indicators.Indicators of the distribution of measurement data between the two groups using t test and analysis of variance,x2 test with count data,multi-category ordered response variables Logistic regression analysis for model building.Results It showed the KBD prevalence rate in adolescent had an increasing tendency with age.Analysis of indicators between the two groups,in addition to the age factor(P ＜ 0.05),the difference of ankle pain,knee pain,wrist movement disorder and other 5 indicators(P ＜ 0.05) and the last bend,elbow movement disorder,syndactyly and other 9 indicators(P ＜ 0.01 ) were statistically significant.Sixteen clinical and radiographic features in the clinical manifestations were significantly related with the clinical severity grading with KBD(P ＜ 0.01 ).Four models on the diagnostic indictors were constructed by cumulative logit model for adolescent KBD (-21ogL,Score,Wald x2 test,P ＜ 0.01 ).Conclusions The establishment of the diagnostic model based on their contribution of the joint involvement in systemic performance-related indicators has an important role for clinical diagnosis of KBD.

Objective To explore the effects and the possible mechanism of Gingko biloba on liver injury due to arsenic poisoning in rats,and to provide experimental evidence for prevention and treatment of arsenic poisoning.Methods The corn powder baked by high arsenic coal was served as the main raw material to make feed containing arsenic.Forty healthy Wistar rats were randomly divided into 5 groups according to their body weights,including control group A,arsenic poisoning group,control group B,natural recovery group and Ginkgo biloba treatment group,eight rats in each group,half male and half female.The control group A rats were fed with normal diet ad libitum for 3.0 months;the arsenic poisoning group rats were freely given feed containing arsenic (100 mg/kg) for 3.0 months;the control group B rats were fed with normal diet ad libitum for 4.5 months;the natural recovery group rats were freely given arsenic (100 mg/kg) feed for 3.0 months,and then given a normal diet for 1.5 months;Ginkgo biloba treatment rats ingested arsenic feed for 3.0 months,and then give Ginkgo biloba solution (25 mg/kg) orally,6 d/week for 1.5 months,then back to normal diet.The content of arsenic in urine,liver,as well as the liver function indices [alanine aminotransferase (ALT),aspartate transaminase (AST),total bile acids (TBA),gamma glutamyl aminopeptidase (GGT),glutathione S-transferase (GSTs)] and the oxidative stress indexes [superoxide dismutase (SOD),glutathione peroxidase (GPx),thiol (-SH),malondialdehyde （MDA)] of liver homogenate,were measured.Results The arsenic content of urine and liver (geometric mean) of the rats in arsenic poisoning group (2 991.24 μg/g Cr,4.29 μg/g) were significantly higher than those in control group A (91.59 μg/g Cr,1.00 μg/g).Urinary arsenic and liver arsenic levels of rats in natural recovery and Ginkgo biloba treatment groups (467.39,334.48 μg/g Cr;,3.15,1.88 μg/g) were higher than those in control group B (99.54 μg/g Cr,0.85 μg/g).The arsenic contents of urine of the rats in natural recovery group,the arsenic contents of urine and liver of rats of Ginkgo biloba treatment group were all lower than those in arsenic poisoning group.The differences were significant (all P ＜ 0.05).The activity/contents of AST,TBA,GGT,GSTs of rats in arsenic poisoning group [(212.88 ± 29.76) U/L,(19.19 ± 4.33) μmol/L,(1.73 ± 0.50) U/L,(196.21 ± 47.38) U/L] were all significantly higher than those in control group A [(142.63 ± 24.20) U/L,(6.23 ± 2.95) μmol/L,(0.77 ± 0.32) U/L,(142.86 ± 28.58) U/L].The activity/contents of TBA,GGT,GSTs in natural recovery group were (17.07 ± 3.92) μ,mol/L,(1.47 ± 0.57) U/L and (178.06 ± 27.37) U/L;and the contents of TBA in Ginkgo biloba treatment group were (13.60 ± 3.00) μmol/L;which were all higher than those in control group B [(7.55 ± 2.45) μmol/L,(0.74 ± 0.51) U/L,(145.17 ± 28.59) U/L].The activity of AST in natural recovery group [(137.44 ± 23.20) U/L],the activity/contents of AST,TBA,GGT and GSTs in Ginkgo biloba treatment group[(129.63 ± 31.25) U/L,(13.60 ± 3.00) μmol/L,(1.15 ± 0.48) U/L,(155.64 ± 20.79) U/L,respectively] were all lower than those in arsenic poisoning group.The content of TBA in Ginkgo biloba treatment group was lower than that of natural recovery group.The differences of those indexes were all significant (all P ＜ 0.05).The activity/contents of SOD,GPx and-SH in arsenic poisoning group [(46.34 ± 11.39),(275.16 ± 92.00) U/mg prot and (0.08 ± 0.02) μmol/mg prot] were all significantly lower than those in control group A [(75.52 ± 8.72),(1 351.01 ± 395.96) U/mg prot,(0.13 ± 0.01) μmol/mg prot].The activity of SOD and GPx in natural recovery group [(42.44 ± 9.58),(694.87 ± 187.01) U/mg prot] were all lower than those in control group B [(68.17 ± 11.11),(1 342.80 ± 185.04) U/mg prot].The activity of GPx in natural recovery group,the activity/contents of SOD,GPx,-SH in Ginkgo biloba treatment group [(63.90 ± 10.44),(1 283.28 ± 373.87) U/mg prot,(0.12-± 0.02) μmol/mg prot] were all higher than those in arsenic poisoning group.The contents of SOD,GPx,-SH in Ginkgo biloba treatment group were higher than those of natural recovery group.The content of MDA in arsenic poisoning group [(3.05 ± 0.94) nmol/mg prot] was higher than that in control group A [(1.67 ± 0.55) nmol/mg prot].The content of MDA of rats in natural recovery and Ginkgo biloba treatment groups were (2.22 ± 0.93),(1.77 ± 0.37) nmol/mg prot,which were lower than those in the arsenic poisoning group.The differences of the above indexes were all significant (all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Ginkgo biloba can reduce the accumulation of arsenic in the liver and ameliorate lipid peroxidation,relieve liver injury effectively in rats caused by coal-burning arsenic.

Objective To study the clinical efficacy of intra-arterial thrombolysis with recombinant tissue plasminogen activator (rt-PA) for the treatment of ischemic cerebrovascular disease caused by cerebral thrombosis. Methods A total of 245 patients accepted by our hospital during May 2013 and July 2015 were divided into the observation group (n=148) and the control group (n=97). All patients were given conventional process for controling blood pressure and blood lipids. Patients in observation group received intra-arterial thrombolysis with rt-PA, while patients in control group accepted conventional treatment. At the time of admission, the demographic characteristic, vascular influencing factors, baseline clinical findings, laboratory findings and neurological deficits were collected. The improvement of neurological function was evaluated by the modified Rankin scale 3 months after treatment. The levels of fibrinogen (FIB), D-Dimer, activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) and thrombin time (PT) were measured before and 24 h after the treatment. Results There were no significant differences in demographic characteristic and general clinical data between the two groups ( P>0.05). The proportion of patients with improved neurological function was significantly higher in observation group than that of the control group (83.11％vs. 53.61％, P<0.05). There were no significant difference in coagulation index and fibrinolysis index before treatment between the two groups (P>0.05). Twenty-four hours after the treatment, the levels of FIB, D-Dimer, APTT and PT were significantly improved in the observation group compared with those before treatment. The level of FIB was significantly decreased, D-Dimer was significantly increased, APTT and PT were significantly prolonged in observation group compared with those of control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The rt-PA can effectively dissolve thrombosis and correct the coagulation system and fibrinolytic system.

Aim To study the expression of caspase-12 mRNA and protein following focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion in rats,and explore the effect of endoplasmic reticulum pathway on neuronal apoptosis.Methods 60 male Wistar rats were randomly divided into sham-operated group and ischemic group.The middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO)models were established by using the intraluminal suture occlusion method,neuronal apoptosis was detected by TUNEL staining,the expression of caspase-12 protein was detected by immunohistochemical staining,the expression of caspase-12 mRNA was detected by RT-PCR method.Results In ischemic group,the number of apoptotic cells and the expression of caspase-12 mRNA and protein were gradually increased following prolonged cerebral reperfusion,reached the peak at 24 h.The number of apoptotic cells and the expression of caspase-12 mRNA and protein in ischemic group were significantly less than those of sham-operated group at all times(P
