AlM: To study the trabeculectomy clinical effect of use tunnel knife to make double - deck scleral flap and to cut off the layer scleral flap of glaucoma.METHODS: Using the random grouping method to divide 46 cases (60 eyes) of glaucoma into the treatment group of 24 cases (32 eyes) and control group of 22 cases (28 eyes). The treatment group, tunnel knife was used to make double- deck sclera flap and superficial scleral flap about the size of 5mm×5. 5mm, 1/3 scleral thickness, under the sclera flap made another one about the size of 3. 5mm× 4mm, 1/3 scleral thickness, resected the middle layer of the sclera flap, removed 2mm×2mm trabecular tissue, underwent routine peripheral iridectomy, could adjust suture the superficial scleral flap, sutured Ball fascia and bulbar conjunctiva. ln control group, routine glaucoma trabeculectomy was undergone.RESULTS:Patients were followed up for 1a, the vision in treatment group was obviously better than that in the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P< 0. 05). The postoperative intraocular pressure of the two groups of patients were significantly lower than that of the preoperative one. Postoperative 1 and 3mo, no statistical significant difference of intraocular pressure in two group(P>0. 05). But after 6 and 12mo, the intraocular pressure of the treatment group were significantly lower than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0. 05). Postopeartive 1a, the cumulative complete success rate and conditions for successful rate were 90. 63% and 96. 88% in the treatment group, and those were 75% and 89. 29% in control group. There was significant difference between two groups(P<0. 05).CONCLUSlON:The trabeculectomy have a good effect to lower the intraocular pressure by use tunnel knife to make double-deck scleral flap and to cut off the layer scleral flap. The scleral flap have uniform thickness, smooth surface, and the function of the filtering bleb maintained for a long time, less postoperative complications, suitable for various types of glaucoma, so it is worthy of clinical promotion.

Objective To explore the correlations between measurements of Doppler velocity waveform parameters of fetal main pulmonary artery and gestation age (GA) in normal fetus. Methods This is a cross-sectional study, in which totally 252 normal singleton fetuses between 23 and 40 weeks of gestation were divided into 10 groups. The following velocity waveform parameters were measured in the main trunk of fetal pulmonary artery by Doppler ultrasound: acceleration time(AT), ejection time(ET), acceleration time/ejection time(AT/ET), peak systolic velocity(PSV), end diastolic velocity(EDV), mean velocity(MV), pulsatility index(PI) and resistance index(RI). The normal reference values of Doppler velocity waveform parameters at various GA were established. A scatter diagram of each parameter against GA was plotted out. The optimal formula was selected out according to the correlation and regression analysis. Results Among 252 normal fetuses, satisfactory Doppler velocity waveform of fetal main pulmonary were achieved in 249 (98.8%, 249/252). Among these parameters, AT, AT/ET, PSV, EDV and MV increased with increasing GA(F=343.23, 96.012, 8.649, 2.158, 10.169, all P<0.05), while PI decreased slightly(F=2.346, P<0.05) and ET, RI had no signiifcant changing(F=0.883, 1.534, both P>0.05). Signiifcant and positive linear correlations were found between parameters of AT, AT/ET, PSV, EDV, MV and GA(r= 0.898, 0.868, 0.446, 0.203, 0.507, all P<0.01);while PI was inversely linear correlated with GA(r=-0.184, P<0.01) and ET, RI had no correlation with GA(r=-0.103, 0.011, both P>0.05). Conclusions The fetal main pulmonary artery could be a reliable sampling point to obtain pulmonary velocity waveform by Doppler ultrasound. Doppler velocity waveform parameters have correlations with GA in normal fetus;among which AT and AT/ET were the best.

Microbiology 1992;0(03):-
A stable and efficient L-Malic acid accumulation mutant strain Rhizopus oryzae ME-M15 was discovered occasionally in the mutation breading for fumaric acid producers. Rhizopus oryzae ME-M15 gave a L-Malic acid output of 16.3 g/L on average after fermentation for 96 hours, more than 3 times than that of the parent strain ME-F10. In addition, other metabolites such as ethanol and fumaric acid were re-markably decreased in accordance with the depressed activity of the cytosolic isoenzyme of fumarase and alcohol dehydrogenase in strain ME-M15, while the activity of the pyruvate carboxylase had no significant difference.

Chinese Journal of Experimental and Clinical Virology 2004;18(1):80-82
OBJECTIVETo observe the therapeutic efficacy of IFN or oxymatrine in combination with lamivudine in patients with lamivudine-resistant chronic hepatitis B.
METHODSForty patients ongoing treatment with lamivudine were randomized to three groups: group A, 14 patients with addition of IFN alpha-2b 3MU to ongoing lamivudine, daily, one month, followed by the same dose given every other day, five months; group B, 15 patients with addition of injectable oxymatrine 60 mg daily, three months, followed by oral oxymatrine every day, three months, and group C, 11 patients ongoing treatment with lamivudine alone. The HBV DNA level in serum, HBeAg seroconversion, and ALT level were detected at the end of the treatment.
RESULTSAfter 6 months of treatment, HBV DNA became negative in 35.73% patients treated with combination with IFN, and in 13.3% patients treated with combination with oxymatrine. ALT level was normal in 85.71% or 86.66% of patients, respectively. In none of the patients under ongoing treatment with lamivudine alone HBV DNA or HBeAg became negative, and ALT level was normal in 36.36% of patients.
CONCLUSIONThese data indicated that IFN or oxymatrine in combination with ongoing lamivudine therapy provided effective antiviral therapy in patients with lamivudine-resistant HBV. The addition of IFN or oxymatrine to ongoing lamivudine therapy in lamivudine-resistant patients led to significant inhibition of viral replication and improvement in liver function after 6 months of therapy.
