1.Evaluation of major methods of hemoglobin analysis
Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2013;36(10):950-953
Hemoglobinopathy is a kind of hereditary hematonosis caused by the disproportion among normal hemoglobins or formation of abnormal hemoglobins.Hemoglobin analysis plays an important role in screening and diagnosing hemoglobinopathy.Emerging methods have been applied continuously to hemoglobinometry since the early 20th century.Nowadays, agarose gel electrophoresis, high performance liquid chromatography and capillary electrophoresis are widely used with mass spectrometry as the latest applied method. All these methods have their own features.Appropriate combination of these methods will lead to more scientific and reliable results.
2.Research advancement on measuring scale and influential factor of quality of life in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma
Journal of International Oncology 2006;0(11):-
The quality of life(QOL) in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma ( NPC ) has attracted people' s attention increasingly. Most of the studies focus on measuring scale and influential factor. Both the disease itself and many non-somatic factors can affect the patients' quality of life. In this review, we summarize these research advancements on measuring scales and influential factors, considering that it need more studies regard to quality of life in NPC patients, and it is very urgent and important to work out the special measuring scale of NPCQOL that suits Chinese culture and value system.

China is one of the countries with the highest incidence of esophageal cancer, which is still increasing year by year in recent years. Surgical treatment is the first choice for early and middle esophageal cancer. Surgeons have been exploring how to remove the tumor as completely as possible and reduce the trauma as far as possible. In recent years, with the rapid development of minimally invasive surgery and endoscopic technology, minimally invasive esophagectomy(MIE)has led the trend of radical surgery for esophageal cancer. At present, the mainstream minimally invasive surgery is thoracoscopic thoracoscopic(VATS)resection of esophageal cancer, which requires thoracotomy and anesthesia, resulting in large surgical trauma and more complications of postoperative circulatory respiratory system. Mediastinose-assisted esophagectomy(MAE), which eliminates a thoracotomy, is also an important part of MIE. Overseas MAE application started early, but the domestic development is relatively slow. This article summarizes the experience of different MAE surgical methods in China, and provides the basis for its promotion in China.

Chinese Journal of Biotechnology 2015;31(7):1039-1049
Although heterologous biosynthesis of polyketide erythromycin has been successfully achieved in Escherichia coli, the titer remains at a very low level (-10 mg/L). In this study, based on genome-scale metabolic model of E. coli, in silico method flux distribution comparison analysis was used to discover novel potential targets for heterologous 6-dEB biosynthesis. Synthetic small regulatory RNAs (sRNAs) was used to experimentally test 12 down-regulated targets. The results showed that repression of each of these target genes e.g. lsrC and ackA led to significantly improve heterologous 6-dEB biosynthesis. Using co-repression of lsrC and ackA, 6-dEB titer was improved by 59.9% in shake-flask with a maximum yield of 22.8 mg/L. This study indicates that combined flux distribution comparison analysis and synthetic small regulatory RNAs is an effective strategy to improve 6-dEB production in E. coli.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(02):-
Objective To analyse the microvascular density(MVD) and CD44v6 expression in uterine cervical squamous carcinoma to evaluate their clinical significance. Methods Immunohistochemical staining (LSAB method) by using antibodies against CD 34 and CD44v6 was performed on archival specimens of 50 cases of human uterine cervical squamous carcinoma and 10 cases of normal cervical tissue. Results MVD was greater in metastatic tumors than that in nonmetastatic tumors and normal control. The expression of CD44v6 was higher in metastatic tumors than that in nonmetastatic tumors and normal control. MVD and CD44v6 expressions were significantly related to lymph node metastasis(P

Objective To study the clinical value of grafting the musculocutaneous flap with uncovered in the special region to treat the open fracture and infection of tibia. Methods Twenty-eight patients including 19 males and 9 females with ankle and leg tissue defect were applied to graft the musculocutaneous flap with uncovered in the special region from July 2007 to January 2010. The tissue defeat in proximal part of the tibia were 6 cases, and 21 cases in middle and distal part, 1 case almost in whole part of the tibia. The bone occurred a defeat and infection in 23 cases, the bone necrosis occurred in 5 cases. The patients treated with iliac bone flap were 5 cases, anterolateral thigh flap were 21 cases, anterolateral thigh flap combined with fibula flap were 2 cases, the flap were transplanted by anastomosis in 26 cases. Results The tissue grafting were all survival and the survival rate were 100%. The callus formation were appear after operation from 3 to 6 months, and necrosis bone tissue almost were abstracted about 6 months. The wound were primary closure and not happened infection in 26 cases, the wound appeared infection under deep tissue in 2 cased, but being cured after 6 months by operation. The 21 patients were followed up from 3 months to one and helf year. The long-term was satisfaction and the donor area was perfect. Compared with closed graft, its area of the flap was small and need spend little time to treat the repair the defeat, and harness to recover the healthy of body and mind, also decrease the chance of infection in deep tissue. Conclusion It is demonstrated that grafting the tissue flap with uncovered in the special region is an ideal approach to treat the open fracture and infection of tibia.

Chinese Journal of Urology 1994;0(02):-
Objective To elucidate the neurological m ec hanism of the referred pains in pelvic floor from prostate and the relationship between pain from prostate and pelvic floor muscle dysfunction. Meth ods The prostate was electrically stimulated, and the elicited action potentials were recorded from iliohypogastric, ilioinguinal, genitofemoral, latera l femoral cutaneous, femoral, sciatic nerves, and compound muscle action potentials (CMAP) were recorded from anal external sphincter. Results Action potentials were elicited principally in the genitofemoral nerve (93 .3%),ilioinguinal nerve (55.5%);the action potentials of the genitofemoral nerve were not influenced by transaction of the cervical spinal cord, whereas they dis appeared immediately after rat death; the action potentials were reduced conside rably after destruction of the lumbosacral sympathetic trunks.CMAPs were elicite d in the anal external sphincter in 93.3% of the rats (14/15). Conc lusions Electrical stimulation of the prostate induced reflex discha rges in the nerves to perineal, pelvic floor areas. It was postulated that the ref lex discharges are related to muscle contraction leading to referred pain in the perineal, pelvic floor areas.Pain from prostate is correlated significantly with pelvic floor muscle dysfunction.
