1.Preparation and Clinical Application of Ribavirin and Ephedrine Nasal Spray

OBJECTIVE:To study the preparation and quality control methods of ribavirin and ephedrine nasal spray and observe its clinical therapeutic efficacy.METHODS:To determine the content of ribavirin and that of ephedrine hydrochloride by ultraviolet spectrophotometry and polarimetry respectively and observe the clinical therapeutic efficacy in 40 patients.RES_ULTS:The average recoveries of ribavirin and ephedrine hydrochloride were 100.05%(RSD=0.50%) and 100.10%(RSD=0.29%) respectively.Its effective rate in treating virus infections of upper respiratory tract was 97%.CONCLUSION:The preparation of ribavirin and ephedrine nasal sprays is reasonable in technology,stable in quality,feasible in quality control and reliable in therapeutic efficacy.It is worth popularizing the application of this preparation.

Probiotics modulate the biological functions (and even cell apoptosis) of intestinal epithelial cells,intestinal macrophages,intestinal dendritic cells,and T cells via cell signaling pathways including nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB) and mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathways.Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPARγ) and heat shock protein (hsp) are targets for probiotics or their products.

7.T helper cell 17 (Th17) and its role in solid organ transplantation

T helper 17 cells (Th17) are a novel subset of CD4+ T cells that undergo differentiation from naive CD4 T cells through the activation of a key nuclear transcription factor,retinoic-acid-receptor-related orphan receptor γt (RORγt),and in the presence of multiple cytokines,such as transforming growth factorβ1 (TGF-β1),interleukin6 (IL-6),as well as IL-23.Th17 cells induce their biological effect by secreting IL-17A and other cytokines.Research has demonstrated that Th17 cells have an intimate relationship with acute/chronic transplant reactions and that Th17 cell lineages have the possibility to become the new target for treating transplant rejections.Identification of Th17 cells also provides an additional strategy for inducing immune tolerance.

0.05).CONCLUSION A similar MMN exists in guinea pigs and human.MMN has a process of development,differentiation and maturation with aging. Guinea pigs can serve as the candidate animal for MMN research.Comparing with ABR,MMN is more sensitive to evaluate the central auditory function.
9.Experiment study of intervertebral fusion cage made by a new biomimetic grafting material

Objective:To evaluate the characteristics of fusion using biomimetic n-HA/PA66 interbody cage with rhBMP-2 and discuss the feasibility of it.Methods:Thirty adult female goats underwent C_(3-4) discectomy and interverbral fusion performed with nHA/PA66 interbody cage without rhBMP-2(n=10).nHA/PA66 interbody cage with rhBMP-2(n=10),autogenous iliac crest bone graft(n=10).X ray was carried out at 4 and12 weeks after surgery to evaluate fusion quality.The goats were killed respectively on the 12th week.Nondestructive biomechanical testing for stiffness,un-decalcified histology were performed.Result:The goats in the n-HA/PA66 with rhBMP-2 group and the autogrft group all showed complete fusion at 12th week.there was no statisti- cally significant differience between the n-HA/PA66 with rhBMP-2 group and the autogrft group upon biomechanics,radiography and histomorphology.Conclusion:The interverbral fusion cage with n-HA/PA66 has good hiocompatibifity and osteoconductive ability and it may be good osteoionductive with rhBMP-2,so it was one ideal interbody fusion cage.
10.In vivo study on intervertebral fusion cage made by nano-hydroxyapatite and ployamide66 composites
