1.Observation of Mudan Granules in the Treatment of 30 Cases of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy
China Pharmacist 2014;(4):660-661
Objective: To observe the clinical effects of Mudan granules in the treatment of granule with diabetic peripheral neu-ropathy. Methods:Totally 60 cases of diabetic peripheral neuropathy were randomly divided into the control group (30 cases) and the study group (30 cases) both with hypoglycemic treatment. The control group was receivedα-lipoic acid tablets, while the study group was treated with Mudan granules. The treatment course was 8 weeks. FBG, 2hPG and hemorheology indices were determined and com-pared. Results:After the treatment in the study group, the plasma viscosity, whole blood viscosity, hematocrit and content of fibrino-gen were improved, and there were significant differences between the two groups (P<0. 05). Conclusion:Mudan granules are suit-able for the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy.
3.Clinical Observation of Foot Bath Treatment by Tangkang Xifang in Patients with Type 0 Diabetes Foot
China Pharmacist 2014;(4):651-653
Objective:To observe the clinical treatment effects of Tangkang Xifang in the patients with type 0 diabetes foot ( DF) . Methods:Totally 73 patients with type 0 DF were randomly divided into the treatment group (n=37) and the control group (n=36). All the patients discontinued other medications for 7d before the treatment. Base on the blood glucose control with the traditional treat-ment by metformin hydrochloride (1. 5 g·d-1), the treatment group was additionally given warm water foot bath with Tangkang Xi-fang, while the control group was additionally given warm water foot bath, 30 min per time and twice a day for 60 days. The changes in the clinical symptoms, ankle brachial index ( ABI) , motor nerve conduction velocity ( MCV) and some other indices were measured before and after the treatment. Results:In comparison with the control group (58. 3%), the treatment group had higher total effective rate (86. 5%), and the usage of Tangkang Xifang also significantly improved the physiopathologic syndromes of peripheral artery dis-ease and neuropathy (P<0. 01). The ABI and MCV in the treatment group were significantly better than those in the control group (P<0. 05 or P<0. 01). Conclusion:Tangkang Xifang can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of type 0 DF, which is suitable for the clinical application.
4.Empirical study of the impact of patients' trust on health outcomes
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2012;28(5):355-359
Objective To identify the relationship between patients' trust and their health outcomes and verify the mediator role played by patients' behavioral intention in affecting the health outcomes.MethodsThe 24-item patients' trust evaluation scale customized based on QOC improvement was called into play to measure the extent of trust of 727 inpatients at two tertiary hospitals and 20community hospitals in Shanghai. The patients' behavioral intention scale, life quality scale and patients'clinical effect general scale helped reveal the patients' behavior tendency on their health.RestltsIt is found that patients' trust affects their health outcomes.Furthermore, such trust plays partial mediator role on patients' life quality, and a complete mediator role in affecting the clinical effect. Conclusion Improvement of patients' behavior can result in better health outcomes. For doctors, better trust from the patients can affect patients' behavioral intention, encourage doctor-patient communication and therapy plans for better health outcomes in the end.

6.Perioperative Assistant Therapy of Liver Transplantation for Primary Hepatocellular Carcinoma
Chinese Journal of Bases and Clinics in General Surgery 2003;0(02):-
Objective To analyse the current situation and advance in perioperative therapy of liver transplantation for primary hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods The published papers on current situation and advance in the perioperative therapy of liver transplantation for HCC were reviewed. Results The survival rate of liver transplantation for HCC in early stage has been the same as that for benign liver diseases up to now. However, it is still a difficult problem to improve the survival rate of liver transplantation for advanced HCC. The ideal perioperative therapies of liver transplantation for HCC should be helpful to suppress the growth of tumor while the HCC patients are waiting for donated livers, to diminish or eliminate the intraoperative spread or implantation of tumor cells and to repress the micrometastasis postoperatively. The current perioperative therapies of liver transplantation for HCC include hepatic arterial chemoembolization, systemic chemotherapy, radiotherapy, percutaneous ethanol injection into HCC and radiofrequency ablation etc. Conclusion The perioperative assistant therapy of HCC can not only save time for patients before liver transplantation but also improve the survival rate after operation.

10.Recent advances in diabetic cataract advanced glycation end products and its inhibitors
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2011;29(8):760-763
Diabetic cataract is an metabolic-type cataract. Its pathogenesis mechanism is not completely clear. Researches demonstrated that glycosylation plays an increasingly important role in the formation of diabetic cataract, and increased blood glucose level promote the pathogenesis and progression of diabetic disease by accelerate the glycosylation response. Therefore, more researches on advanced glycation end products(AGEs) and its inhibitors is being concerned. The advance in the study of AGEs concept, its effect on diabetic cataract formation, the influence of AGEs inhibitor on diabetic cataract are summarized in this article.
