1.Application Value of MSCT Three-dimensional Post-processing on Pre-operation of Scoliosis Orthomorphia
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(10):-
Objective To evaluate the value of MSCT three-dimensional reconstruction postprocessing technique for operation of Scoliosis Orthomorphia. Methods 18 cases of scoliosis were performed with MSCT to be reconstructed by MPR, VRT. The three-dimensional reconstruction images displayed traverse, coronal and sagittal plane and measures data. Results By measuring data of 18 cases by means of the methods above, all parameters were accurate. Conclusion The three-dimensional reconstruction of MSCT makes up the disadvantages of X-ray. Any retrospective reconstruction can be done to the collected data. So patients can avoid being projected repeatedly and radiation can be reduced. Various parameters of the vertebrae concerning spine, spinal canal and the pedicle plane can be offered, providing reliable reference for pre-operations.
2.Value of MSCT for Measuring Volume of Mass of Primary Hepatic Cell Carcinoma.
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(10):-
Objective To measure the volume of liver, the volume of mass of liver and the ratio of mass/righe lobe with the Volume Evaluation of MSCT, as a reference of liver function after resection of liver mass. Methods All cases were scanned and reconstructed with MSCT,and the volume of right liver, the volume of mass of right liver and its ratio were obtained with Volume Evaluation of MSCT. Results The method of measuring volume of liver with Volume Evaluation is simple and accurate. Conclusion It can be a important reference before and after resection of liver mass.

4.Lateral canthal anchoring for correction of lower eyelid retraction
Chinese Journal of Medical Aesthetics and Cosmetology 2001;0(05):-
Objective To investigate the ideal methods for correction of lower eyelid retraction by lateral canthal anchoring. Methods The authors retrospectively reviewed the records of 126 patients(207 eyelids) operated on between June 1999 and 2005 by one senior surgeon. The age of the patients ranged from 28 to 72 years(mean,46 years).Transcanrhal canthopexy was used in 20 patients(33 eyes); The 3 mm tarsal strip procedure was used in 35 patients(57 eyes);Transcanrhal canthopexy combined with Hamra's lower blepharoplasty was used in 26 patients(45 eyes). The tarsal strip procedure combined with Hamra's procedure was used in 45 patients(72 eyes).75 patients(123 eyes) were followed up for 6~12 months.Mean follow-up time was 8 months. Results Of them,125 patients were uniformly satisfied with their cosmetic and functional outcome at last follow-up;one patient had undercorrection of retraction. There were no major complications and only one minor complications(corneal irritation from graft sutures),which resolved in the early follow-up period. Conclusions The lateral canthal anchoring is an effective, aesthetic, and functional treatment for moderate to severe lower eyelid retraction resulting from multiple causes. This procedure is associated with predictable results,a low morbidity rate, and high patient satisfaction.

7. Expressions of MMP-9 and E-cadherin in colorectal carcinoma and their clinical significance
Tumor 2007;27(11):910-913
Objective: To investigate the expressions of matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) and E-cadherin protein in human colorectal carcinoma and their correlation with tumor infiltration and metastasis as well as evaluate the relationship between the expressions of the two proteins. Methods: The expressions of MMP-9 and E-cadherin protein were detected by immunohistochemical staining (streptavidine-peroxidase method) in 52 cases of colorectal carcinoma (including 3 cases of colorectal adenomas with malignant change). Ten cases of normal colorectal tissues were as control. Results: (1) The over-expression of MMP-9 was closely related with lymph node metastasis and invasion of colorectal carcinoma. The positive rate of MMP-9 expression in the patients with lymph node metastasis (100%) was significantly higher than those without lymph node metastasis (89%). The positive expression of MMP-9 was significantly higher in patients who survived less than 5 years than those who survived more than 5 years (P < 0.05). (2) The expression of E-cadherin protein was closely associated with the lymph node metastasis (P < 0.05) but it had no significant correlation with tumor differentiation and Dukes'stages (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Over-expression of MMP-9 and reduction or loss of E-cadherin expression has significant correlation with metastasis and infiltration of colorectal carcinoma. The positive expression of MMP-9 closely correlated with the abnormal expression of E-cadherin.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2018;32(6):472-473
Mouret abscess is a rare extracranial complication of suppurative otitis media. It is generally believed to be a deep neck abscess caused by inflammation leading to the rupture of the bony tip of the mastoid tip. The location of Mouret abscess is deep. The symptoms are insidious at the onset, but may eventually spread to the surrounding tissue, and even lead to mediastinal abscess, cavernous sinus thrombosis, meningitis, dyspnea and other serious complications. At present, with the popularization of antibiotics, the occurrence rate of Mouret abscess is very low, and only sporadic cases have been reported. In this paper, a case of Mouret abscess caused by cholesteatoma was analyzed to explore Mouret abscess in terms of the route of infection, clinical manifestations, imaging features, diagnosis and treatment.
