Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2001;18(2):306-308,325
This paper presents a discussion on the tracing algorithms of the extraction of Electrocardiogram(ECG) data from scanned image of hardcopy ECG. We have advanced a new algorithm integrated by seek-and-predict method and polygon model method, which can tolerate crossing of two leads, fault-line and disturbing of grid lines. Two practical situations that may be encountered while processing hardcopy ECG are discussed in detail. Furthermore, the after-treatment of extraction-filtering is considered and an SVD-based filter designed to smooth ECG signal is analyzed.
3.Analysis of nonlinear behavior in cardiac QRS-waves integral.
Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2005;22(2):367-370
QRS-waves integral can reflect the activities of ventricular depolarization. In this paper are analyzed the nonlinear characters in QRS-waves integral: reconstructing state space with these integral signals after nonlinear noise reduction, calculating its attractor dimension and the largest Lyapunov exponents. With the results based on MIT-BIH database we proposed that QRS-waves integral is of chaos nature. When compased with HRV nonlinear analysis, QRS-waves integral analysis was found to be of more advantages in some cases such as premature ventricular contraction. This QRS-waves integral nonlinear analysis may be of use in evaluating clinical cardiac function.

Objective: To observe the co-effect of antioxidant compound, soybean isoflavone (SI), VC and VE on glucose and insulin response after oral glucose load in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) . Methods: 96 selected T2DM patients (50% male, 50% female) were randomly divided into 4 groups according to the dosage of the compound given , none (group B), low dosage (group C), medium dosage (group D) and high dosage (group E) . The normal control (group A) included 24 persons half male, half female . Blood glucose and insulin were determined at OGTT 0 h, 1 h, 2 h, 4 h, 6 h, and the areas under the curve (AUC) of blood insulin/glucose were calculated. Results: The AUC of blood insulin/glucose of male was higher than female in control group, but both were lower than those of four diabetes groups. In both genders of the diabetes groups, blood insulin AUC of group C, D, E was lower than group B, blood glucose AUC of group D, E was lower than group C and B. There was significant difference in blood insulin and glucose AUC of group E as compared to group B in female (P

The dynamic changes of synchronous 12-lead ECG signal's correlation dimension (D2) of an anesthetized rabbit were investigated primarily under three different pathologic conditions. The results showed that the D2 derived from different lead signals was not a constant whether the rabbit was in normal state or in emergent myocardial infarction condition, it demonstrated distribution characteristic. Compared with the same lead signal, D2 of limb lead almost kept constant, D2 of chest lead got higher when the sphere of emergent ischemia extended larger. D2 showed the potential application in the diagnosis of coronary heart disease.

6.Study on the changes of serum and scurf oxidative stress indicators and hemorheology indicatorsof patients with psoriasis
Journal of Clinical Medicine in Practice 2017;21(3):112-114
Objective To study changes of serum and scurf oxidative stress indicators, and hemorheology indicators of patients with psoriasis. Methods A total of 61 patients with psoriasis in hospital from December 2013 to January 2016 were selected as observation group, another 61 healthy of the same age at the same period were selected as control group, the serum and scurf oxidative stress indicators, hemorheology indicators of two groups were respectively detected and compared, and the detection results of above indicators of observation group with different severity and disease stages were compared. Results The serum and scurf SOD of observation group was lower (P < 0.05),serum and scurf MDA,the hemorheology indicators and LPO were higher than that of control group (P <0.05),and the detection results of serum and scurf oxidative stress indicators, hemorheology indicators of observation group with different severity and disease stages showed significant differences (P <0.05).Conclusion The serum and scurf oxidative stress indicators, hemorheology indicators of patients with psoriasis are obviously differentiated from the healthy,so those indicators of the patients should be closely monitored.

Public welfare orientation is the core requirement of public hospital reform. A profound understanding of the connotation of public welfare in public hospitals is related to the effectiveness of deepening the reform and implementation of public hospitals guided by public welfare. The author reviewed and sorted out the historical evolution process of public hospital reform guided by public welfare, summarized and condensed the core connotation of public hospital public welfare, including " legal obligations, system concepts, people′s positions, and inclusive goals", and introduced the practice of deepening the public welfare reform of public hospitals based on the connotation of Union Hospital affiliated with Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology based on this connotation, focusing on " party building, medical technology, health emergency response, improvement of services, salary distribution, economic operation, resource expansion and sinking" .

The performance evaluation of tertiary public hospitals aims to strengthen functional positioning, and the weight of indicators such as the proportion of surgery is relatively high in the evaluation indicators. In this con-text,some tertiary comprehensive hospitals with a high proportion of internal medicine business are facing significant challenges in sustained development. It comprehensively reviews the impact of performance evaluation indicators on the direction of internal medicine specialties, and uses SWOT analysis tools to condense the sustainable develop-ment path of tertiary public hospitals. This includes growth strategies(improving the ability to treat difficult and criti-cal diseases, undertaking scientific and educational tasks),transformational strategies(technological innovation, price approval),multiple business strategies(adjusting outpatient and inpatient structures, building specialized disease centers, etc.),and defensive strategies(reasonable diagnosis and treatment, clinical pathways),inorder to provide reference for hospital managers.

Objective To analyze the problems existing in the homogenization management of multi-branch hospitals based on the annual performance assessment data, and provide reference for promoting the high-quality development of public hospital branch districts. Methods Based on the Performance Assessment Operation Manual of National Tertiary Public Hospitals(2022 edition),10 indicators including the proportion of discharged patients undergoing surgery and the proportion of fourth-level surgery were screened, and the functional positioning, quality and safety, revenue and expenditure structure, and cost control of 4 hospitals of a certain medical institution from 2022 to 2023 were descriptively analyzed. Results The CMI value and the proportion of discharged surgery in the main hospital were significantly better than those in the branch hospitals, and there was no significant difference in the medical quality indicators of the four hospitals, and the operation efficiency of the branch hospital with outstanding specialty characteristics was better than that of other hospitals. Conclusion Public hospitals pay more attention to the"big specialty, small comprehensive"mode in the layout of branch districts, pay more attention to the quality control management at the specialty level in medical quality management, and strengthen the benefit analysis of different hospitals in the same specialty in operation management.
