OBJECTIVE:To observe therapeutic efficacy and safety of budesonide aerosol inhalation for pediatric acute asthma attack. METHODS:Ninety patients diagnosed as acute asthma attack selected from our hospital during Jan. 2014-May 2016 were di-vided into observation group and control group in accordance with random number table, with 45 cases in each group. Control group was given Potassium sodium dehydroandroandrographolide and sodium chloride injection 10 mg/(kg·d),ivgtt,qd+Azithromy-cin injection 10 mg/(kg·d),ivgtt,qd for anti-infective therapy. Observation group was additionally given Budesonide aerosol 0.5 mg,aerosol inhalation, bid. Both groups received treatment for consecutive 7 d. Clinical efficacy, lung function index,T cell sub-group,symptom relief time were observed, and the occurrence of ADR was recorded. RESULTS:Total response rate of observa-tion group (91.11%) was significantly higher than that of control group (71.11%),with statistical significance (P<0.05). After treatment,FVC,FEV1 and FEV1/FVC of observation group were significantly higher than those of control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). CD3+,CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ of observation group were significantly increased, while CD8+ was decreased significantly;above indexes of observation group were improved significantly compared to control group, with statistical signifi-cance (P<0.05). The time of symptom relief as wheezing, coughing, difficult breathing and lung wheeze in observation group were significantly shorter than in control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in the incidence of ADR between 2 groups(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Budesonide aerosol inhalation shows significant therapeutic effi-cacy for pediatric acute asthma attack with good safety.

A total of 180 community medical staff in Jiangning District of Nanjing received continuous education in practical emergency medicine through theory teaching, practice and scene simulation once a year from 2011 to 2013.And the training outcomes were evaluated before and after training and the feedbacks of community medical staff collected each time. The assessment results of theory and practical skills after training in 2013 were better than before training in 2011 [theory:(61.72 ± 5.03) vs.(92.11 ± 5.56) points ; operation skills (55.28 ± 6.18) vs.(93.33 ± 3.45) points] (P < 0.05).And the total satisfaction rate was 98.0%.

Objective:To investigate the effects of ketogenic diet on seizures, electroencephalogram(EEG) changes and neurobehavioral development in children diagnosed with epilepsy. Methods:A total of 122 children diagnosed with spastic epilepsy in Nanyang Central Hospital from March 2016 to March 2019 were enrolled. The patients were divided into the observation group and the control group, by the computerized random number table method with 61 cases in each group. The children in the control group were treated with conventional therapy, and the children in the observation group were combined with the ketogenic diet on the basis of conventional treatment. The Gesell developmental schedules scale scores were compared between the two groups to evaluate seizure control and EEG improvement. Results:The seizure control in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group [78.69%(48/61 cases) vs.54.10%(33/61 cases)], and the difference was statistically significant ( χ2 = 12.114, P <0.05). The EEG improvement in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group [81.97%(50/61 cases) vs.55.74%(34/61 cases)], and the difference was statistically significant ( χ2=13.623, P<0.05). After 12 months of treatment, the children in the observation group had significantly higher fitness, gross motor, fine motor, language, and personal social, and total development quotient scores than the control group [(56.64±13.29) scores vs.(46.04±12.86) scores, (54.84±12.18) scores vs.(47.62±11.91) scores, (54.44±10.70) scores vs.(44.31±11.56) scores, (51.48±12.99) scores vs.(42.04±11.18) scores, (57.88±11.04) scores vs.(47.42±13.16) scores, (275.28±54.71) scores vs.(227.42±55.79) scores], the differences were statistically significant ( t=5.997, 5.887, 6.003, 5.889, 6.007, 6.010, all P<0.05). Conclusion:The ketogenic diet can significantly reduce seizures, improve EEG and neurobehavioral development in children with epilepsy.
