Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are deifned as transcripts longer than 200 nt without coding capacities. Although they were initially argued to be transcriptional by-products of RNA polymeraseⅡ, recent evidence suggests that lncRNAs have been associated with a spectrum of biological processes, and aberrant lncRNA expression may be a major contributor to tumorigenesis, progression and prognosis. This study summarizes the up-to-date studies on lncRNAs in urological neoplasms.

Objective To know the present situation and the different humanistic caring abilities among college nursing students,so as to provide reference for education training strategy of nursing humanity care.Methods A total of 396 college nursing students were investigated by using the nursing students' humanistic caring ability scale.Results The total score of nursing students' humanistic caring ability was (110.85±21.57),with a scoring rate of 61.59％.Statistically significant differences of humanistic caring ability were found among students of different education levels,different genders and different colleges.Conclusions The level of nursing students' humanistic caring ability was low,so nursing schools and clinical teaching hospitals should strengthen the training of students' humanistic caring ability according to the characteristics of different education level,and take effective training strategies to improve college nursing students' humanistic caring ability.

Objective To investigate the clinical features,magnetic resonance imaging (MRI),treatment,and follow-up of patients with glutaric aciduria type Ⅰ (GA-1).Methods Four pediatric patients with GA-1 diagnosed in our hospital were included in this study.They were treated with special diets and carnitine supplements.MRI and tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) were performed,and the mental development indices were measured.Results GA-1 was confirmed 2 months,13 months,4 months,and 7 months after birth.Seizure had been observed before the disease diagnosis in three patients and disappeared after treatment.In all four patients,T2-weighted brain MRI showed frontotemporal atrophy or hypoplasia and enlarged subarachnoid space in the sylvian fissures and anterior to the temporal lobes.Diffusion weighted imaging revealed high-density lesions over both the putamen and globus pallidus.The patients were followed up for 4 to 5 years.Plasma amino acids and acylcamitine profile were monitored every 3-5 months.The mean C5DC level and C5DC/C8 were kept the higher limits of the normal ranges,especially in case 3.During the follow-up,the body weight was at-2 SD-0 and the height at-1 SD-0.Intellectual development test showed that case 1 and case 4 had mildly abnormal intelligence,whereas case 2 and case 3 had extremely severe intellectual disability.Gene test confirmed the presence of gene mutations in all four cases,including IVS10-2A ＞ C homozygous mutation in cases 1,3,and 4 and [IVS10-2A ＞ C] + [c.245G ＞c(p.Arg82Pro)] hybrid mutation in case 2.Two female children were smoothly enrolled by local kindergarten,while two male children were unable to walk alone due to delayed motor development and spastic paralysis.Conclusions The phenotype of GA-1 patients is not remarkably correlated with its genotype correlation.Newborn screening is essential for identifying GA-1 patients.

Objective Study on 60 cases of advanced non-small cell lung cancer patients in the Apa imatinib mesylateadverse reactions after treatment , and to develop nursing methods for these adverse reactions. Methods Non-small cell lung cancer patients who were treated in our hospital from September 2015 to September 2016 were treated with Apa imatinib mesylate and observed the adverse reactions during the course of treatment. Results Adverse reactions occurred in 45 patients, and the incidence of adverse reactions was 75.00％.29 cases of patients with skin rash, 24 cases occurred in patients with hypertension, 30 cases of patients with diarrhea, nausea and vomiting occurred in 21 patients, 5 cases occurred in patients with proteinuria, 7 cases of patients with oral mucositis.Conclusion Non-small cell lung cancer patients had adverse reactions after treatment with Apa imatinib mesylate and nursing intervention can improve the quality of life of patients.

BACKGROUND: The biomechanical features of the plate internal fixation for the fractures are commonly analyzed utilizing direct contact and low accuracy sensor. However, it has some limitations such as direct contact and low accuracy. The digital speckle method used in the biomechanics of fractures is more accurate to analyze the characteristics of the screw breakage.OBJECTIVE: To measure the displacement of screws under different tensile force conditions after the internal fixation surgery of compression plate for adult thighbone using digital speckle method. METHODS: A total of six femur samples from adults were used to prepare model of midshaft humerus fractures. Each of two ends of fractured samples was fixed with five screws, and the pull test was conducted under the load of 200 and 300 N by electronic versatile machine to measure the displacement of the screws under 10 conditions. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The displacement distance of the screw was significantly longer under 300 N loading force compared with 200 N (P < 0.01). Except screws 1 and 10, 2 and 9, 3 and 8, 4 and 7, and 5 and 6, there were significant differences in the displacement between any two screws (P < 0.05). Results showed that the displacement of the screws increased with increasing pulling force, and the displacement near the fracture line significantly changed with pulling force.

Objective To present clinical results of endovascular treatment of total iliac vein occlusions and to discuss the technique details of this treatment. Methods From Feb 2006 to Aug 2010,15 patients with chronic total occlusive lesions of the iliac vein and adjacent vein segments underwent endovascular treatment. Average age was (62 ±7) years (range 35 to 81 years), the male/female ratio was 12: 3. Clinical score of CEAP was grade 3 in 33. 3%, grade 4 in 40%, grade 5 in 13. 3%, and grade 6 in 13.3%. Venography showed left iliac vein was occluded in all 15 patients, common femoral vein was occluded in 14 patients, and superior femoral vein was occluded in 9 patients, however profounder femoral vein was patent in these patients with superior femoral vein being occluded. Results No postoperative major morbidity or mortality was seen. The technique success rate was 93. 3%. Treatment failure was caused in one case for a wrong selection of the femoral vein approach site. The average length of stent was 18. 4 cm.In 12(80. 0% ) stents crossed the inguinal ligament. The average follow-up time was 11.6 ± 2. 4 months.The primary patency rates of the stents at 6 months were 92. 9%. 10 (66. 7% ) patients were asympotomatic, 3(20% )were improved, 1 (6. 7% ) was unchanged, and 1 (6.7%) was worse, compared to before intervention. Conclusions Endovscular recanalization and stent placement is a safe and effective treatment for chronic total occluded iliac veins, with good patency, significant symptom resolution, and minimal morbidity in the short term follow-up.

Background and purpose:Bladder cancer radical surgery is dififcult with many perioperative complications, and the learning curve is long. To introduce the clinical application of complete retrograde radical cystectomy and consequent abdominal cavity reconstruction in male bladder cancer, and to provide a standardized surgical procedure with minimum perioperative complications and short learning curve. Methods:From Apr. 2012 to Apr. 2013, 110 cases of male patients with bladder cancer received this procedure in our department, with a median age of 64 (35-83) years;Preoperative characters, surgical parameters, perioperative complications, pathology, long-term complications and short-term prognosis were collected and analyzed. Results:The median number of lymph nodes resected in operation was 12 (8-16);Neurovascular bundles were reserved bilaterally in 65 cases, and unilaterally in 31 cases;The complete procedure including urinary diversion took 4.4 (2.2-6.0) hours, with a median time of opened abdominal cavity of 43.0 (5.0-75.0) minutes;The median blood loss was 140.0 (50.0-600.0) mL, and 4 patients needed transfusion; Median time of abdominal and pelvic drainage was 10.0 (6.0-15.0) days, the median gastrointestinal recovery time was 2.5 (1.0-12.0) days, and the median postoperative hospital stay was 17.0 (10.0-39.0) days;Grade 2 Clavien-Dindo classiifcation (CDC) of surgical complications that required medical intervention were found in 19 cases, CDC grade 3 or above were found in 8 cases;Mild to moderate postoperative ileus happened in 5 cases, all recovered in median 2 (1-4) weeks with supportive treatments;There were no perioperative deaths. All samples were sent to pathological analyses. After a median follow-up of 9 (3-15) months, no complications of or above CDC grade 3 happened, and there were no recurrence. Conclusion:Complete retrograde radical cystectomy in male bladder cancer provided clear anatomical approach, reliable neurovascular bundle preservation, less blood loss, limited abdominal organs disturbance and better surgical exposure; With respect to tumor control, more peritoneal was retained for subsequent abdominal cavity reconstruction. The introduced procedure effectively speeded up gastrointestinal recovery, reduced postoperative complications, especially the incidence of ileus and its severity, and shortened hospital stay. The learning curve of this procedure for urologists was short, and further investigation was warranted.

BACKGROUND:There is no unified measure of bone tissue mechanical property test at present. The study concerning traditional sensor for fracture displacement had some problems such as low precision, and high consumption cost.
OBJECTIVE:To measure the displacement of plate and screw after internal fixation for fracture of humerus using digital speckle method.
METHODS:A total of eight humeral specimens were taken. The steel plate fixation model in the humerus 1/2 was made. The specimens were fixed using eight-hole steel plate, and four screws were fixed on each end of fracture line. Five conditions of experimental model were designed for comparative analysis. Condition a:compression plate fixation group (not saw off, to simulate fracture healing). Condition b:on the basis of sawing off in condition a, one screw was removed on the proximal end. Condition c:on the basis of condition b, one screw was removed on the distal end. Condition d:on the basis of condition c, one screw was removed on the distal end. Condition e:on the basis of d, one screw was removed on the distal end. The screws were numbered No. 1-8 from top to bottom. That is, the screws on upper fracture line were numbered No. 1-4, and those on the lower fracture line were numbered No. 5-8. The specimens were instal ed on electronic universal testing machine, and loaded 100 N and 500 N. The displacement was calculated using the related software.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Significant differences in total displacement were detected under different loads (F=49.155, P<0.001). With increased load, the total displacement of the fourth and fifth screws gradual y increased under five kinds of conditions. These indicated that the two screws on the two ends of the fracture line endured more stresses (stress concentration), and easily broke. It would be better to choose the screw with the screw diameter of 1-2.5 mm bigger than the present one in order to increase its stability to avoid the breakage of screws.
