Modern Clinical Nursing 2015;(5):41-43,44
Objective To explore the effect of comprehensive interventions on protective behaviors of sanitary workers against occupational exposure in hospitals. Methods Comprehensive interventions were done in 50 sanitary workers in our hospital during September 2013 to September 2014, with the intervention contents including establishment of sanitary workers management system, education training, on-the-spot inspection, signature of duty informs, planning of occupational exposure prevention flow chart. The intervention lasted 12 months. Then the score on occupational exposure prevention knowledge and behaviors, the qualification rate of all indexes and all occupational harms in pre-intervention and post-intervention were compared. Result The score on occupational exposure preventive knowledge after intervention was significantly higher than that before intervention , the qualification rate after intervention was higher than that before intervention and the incurrence of occupational harms was significantly lower than that before intervention (P < 0.01). Conclusion Multiple measures including education, supervision, inspection, duty informing and flow chats can strengthen the awareness of preventing occupational exposure and lower the incidence of occupational harms among the sanitary workers.

Objective To investigate the protective effect of erythropoietin (EPO)on the kidney of renal anemia rats and further explore the renoprotective action and possible mechanisms. Methods A total of 90 SD rats were randomly divided into 5 groups:normal control rats (NC),simple anemia group (SA),iron + EPO group (IR+EPO),erythropoietin group (EPO),and iron group (IR)with 18 in each. The rats were sacrificed after 4 weeks’ treatment with intragastrically-injected adenine.Serum creatinine (Scr),blood urea nitrogen (Bun),hemoglobin (Hb),hematocrit (Hct),and hepcidin were measured with automated hematology analyzer. The expressions of bone morphogenetic protein-6 (BMP-6 ),a serine/threonine kinase receptor-1 (SMAD-1 )and serine/threonine kinase receptor-4 (SMAD-4)in the kidney were detected by immunohistochemistry and Western blot. Results ①The results of general indicators:BUN and Scr in IR + EPO group and EPO group were lower than those in SA group (P <0.01).Hb and Hct in IR + EPO group and EPO group were increased significantly compared with those in SA group (P <0.01).Hepcidin was significantly increased in simple anemia group (P <0.01).② ELISA results showed that Hepcidin was lower in IR + EPO group and EPO group than in SA group (P <0.01).③ The results of pathological observation indicated that EPO could reduce rat renal pathology and function.④ Immunohistochemistry revealed that SMAD-4,SMAD-1 and BMP-6 were expressed in the rat glomerular cells and renal tubular epithelial cells.⑤ Western blot further indicated that the expression of SMAD-4 was significantly decreased in IR + EPO group and EPO group (P < 0.01 ).The expression of SMAD-1 in IR+EPO group and EPO group was decreased (P <0.05)while that of BMP-6 was elevated in IR+EPO group and EPO group (P <0.01 ).Conclusion The expression and secretion of hepcidin were inhibited by EPO via the BMP/SMAD pathway, which further corrects anemia and exerts a renal protective effect.

Objective Comparing the clinical effect between Cinepazide Maleate and low Molecular weight Dextran,to the one which is more effective, safer and less unhealthy to patients after digital replantation. Methods From April 2010 to April 2012 in our hospital during single finger replantation patients, the observation group 120 cases of postoperative to Cinepazide Maleate injection 320mg/d intravenous drip, the control group of 120 cases treated with low Molecular Dextran 500ml/d IVGTT.Results The effective rate of observe group and control group was 96.67% and 92.50%,respectively.The difference between the two groups was too small to have statistically significant difference (P > 0.05),but the adverse effect of treatment group was only 5.8%,much lower than 14.17% in control group however with the statistically significant difference (P <0.05).Conclusion Cinepazide Maleate Injection and low Molecular weight Dextran both have apparent effect in patients after digital replantation surgery. Both of them significantly improved microcirculation, enhanced the survival rate of replantation. However Cinepazide Maleate injection has fewer adverse effects, which is one of idea auxiliary medicine and deserved more extensive clinic application in currently microsurgery.

Objective To study curative effect of edaravone on acute severe brain injury through the observation of neuron-specific enolase( that is:NSE) changes. Methods 60 severe brain injury patients were randomly assigned into the treatment group (n=30 ) and the control group (n=30).Besides the routine treatment, edaravone was used in the treatment group for 7 days. The control group received the same treatment except edaravone.NSE were measured in the two groups before the treatment and at 1st,3rd,5th,7th day after the treatment.GCS was evaluated at 21 days. Results Compared the NSE before treatment and after three days, they had significant difference(P<0.05,also between the two groups and the GCS after 21 days.they had no significant adverse drug reactions during the two groups of patients with medication. Conclusion Edaravone for patients with severe brain injury has a better treatment effect, medication safety, fewer adverse reactions from the mechanism of NSE at acute phase.

Objecfive To study the influence of edaravone therapy on semm levels of neuronspecific enolase (NSE)in the patients of severe brain trauma and assess the therapic effect of edaravone.Method Sixty patients of severe brain trauma were randomly assigned into the treatment group(n=30)and the control group(n=30).Besides the routine treatment in both groups.edaravone Was only used in the treatment group.NSE levels were measured in the two groups before treatment and at 1st,3rd,5th,7th day after treatment. Results NSE levels before treatment in treatment group and control group were(48.73±30.46)μg/L and (40.86±22.05)μg/L,respectively,there Was no statistical significance between two groups.NSE levels after treatment at 3rd,5th,7th day in the two groups were(34.16±15.08),(29.86±12.61),(29.93±14.77)μg/L and (27.42±10.07),(22.33±8.93),(21.17±9.67)μg/L,respectively,there were statistical significances between two groups and in the same group (P< 0.05 or < 0.01 ). With the time of therapy extended,NSE levels declined progressively. There were no significant adverse drug reactions during the treatment period. Conclusions The influence of edaravone therapy on serum levels of NSE in the patients of severe brain trauma is significant, edaravone for patients with severe brain trauma has a better curative effect ,medication safety, and fewer adverse drug reactions during acute phase.
