1.MORPHOLOGICAL ANATOMY AND THREE-DIMENSIONALRECONST RUCTION OF THE PALLIAL THICKENING IN THE LIZARD GEKKO GECKO

Objective To clarify the position,figure and connections with adjacencies in the pallial thickening(Pth),and provide essential parameters for its function study. Methods The coronal serial sections of 60?m thickness in gekko gecko brain were made by cryo-microtome,and Nissl staining was used.Pictures were taken in each coronal section containing the Pth and the size of Pth in each section was measured.One of them was chosen for the three-dimensional reconstruction.3D MAX was used as the tool software to rebuild the nucleus. Results 1.The Pth was located in the rostral part of the telencephalon,the lateral part of anterior dorsal ventricular ridge,the medial part of the lateral cortex and the ventral part of the dorsal cortex.The length of Pth from the rostral to the caudal end was(912.67?110.96)?m(n=10),the cubage of Pth was about(0.1430?0.0414)?m~3(n=10).2.The Pth could be divided into four segments,the anterior,the middle,the posterior and the terminal segments from the rostral to the caudal end.In the posterior segment,its dorsoventral axis was the longest,and could be divided into two parts: the dorsal and the ventral parts.The boundary of the two parts was clear.Conclusion The Pth is a long,narrow and flat structure;its rostrocaudal axis is longer than its dorsoventral axis,and its dorsal edge is smoother than its ventral edge.In the Pth,its caudal region is larger than its rostral region,and the posterior segment in the caudal region is divided into the dorsal and the ventral cell populations.
2.Tumorigenicity Investigation of CNE2 Cell Line STGC3 Expression Induced by Tet-on System in Nude Mice

STGC3, a novel tumor related gene, was cloned recently. The previous studies indicated that STGC3 can inhibit the proliferation of CNE2 cell line in vitro. To examine the effect of STGC3 on the tumorigenicity of CNE2 cell line and explore its mechanism in nude mice. The Tet/pTRE/CNE2-STGC3 cell line was planted under the front leg skin of nude mice and induced by doxycycline (Dox). The mRNA and protein level of STGC3 in transplanted tumor tissues were detected with RT-PCR and Western Blotting. The apoptosis ratio of the tumor cell was analyzed with flow cytometry. STGC3, Bcl-2 and Bax proteins were examined by immunohistochemistry method. The results indicated that high level of STGC3 expression can inhibit tumorigenicity of CNE2 cell line in nude mice. 3.Research in validity and reliability of the Community Home Mutual Pension Demand Scale

Objective To develop Community Home Mutual Pension Demand Scale and test its validity and reliability.Methods Firstly,the theoretical dimension of Community Home Mutual Pension Demand Scale was constructed by means of literature analysis and resident interview.Secondly,the scale with five dimensions containing 29 items was formed after small range of questionnaire survey.Finally,the data from 384 elderly people in 4 communities of Hengyang city were analyzed by using SPSS17.0 and AMOS17.0 to test its validity and reliability.Results The model consisted of 4 dimensions and 21 items,which explained 69.911% of the total variance.x2/df=2.097,Tac ker Lewis index (TLI)=0.959,non normed fit index (NNFI)=0.959,relative fit index (RFI)=0.924,goodness-of-fit index(GFI)=0.921,comparative fit index (CFI)=0.966,normed fit index (NFI)=0.938,incremental fit index (IFI)=0.967,root-mean square error of approximation(RMSEA)=0.054;Cronbach α of the total scale was 0.932,Cronbach α of each dimension was 0.801-0.954.The correlation coefficient between dimensions was 0.241-0.592,P<0.01.Conclusions The scale has good reliability and validity in the measurement of the mutual pension demand of elderly.
4.The effects of using bilingual education among different nursing undergraduates in the Nursing Fundamentals

ObjectiveTo study the effects of using bilingual education among different nursing undergraduates in the Nursing Fundamentals, and then make out some proper education pattern. Methods Bilingual education has been implemented for one year in the course of Nursing Fundamentals among 82 nursing undergraduates who have graduated from high school and 81 nursing undergraduates who have graduated from hygiene school in 2003 degree. Results There were significant difference between two kinds of nursing undergraduates in the passed rate of CET 4, P0.05. Conclusion The bilingual education can be implemented in the different nursing undergraduates.

Aiming at the current situation of insufficient integration of medical humanities teaching and clinical practice, as well as the need for further research and improvement in the teaching system, guided by the concept of medicine and humanistic literacy integration advocated by the new medical science, this paper deeply discussed the construction of clinical medical humanities teaching system from four aspects, including the selection of clinical medical humanities teachers and team building; the teaching path that combines theoretical education, narrative medicine, and clinical skill training infused with medical humanities content; curriculum ideological and political construction with the goal of establishing the core concept and value orientation of “patient-centered”; the teaching assessment and evaluation method characterized by formative evaluation. The clinical medical humanities teaching system emphasizes the practicality, experiential, and emotional aspects of medical humanities teaching, deeply integrating medical humanities with clinical practice teaching content throughout the clinical internship period of medical education, with a view to enhancing the humanistic practice ability and literacy of medical students.
