Aquaporin (AQP)is a molecular weight of about 28 kD of the four polymer structure membrane channel protein. In mammals, there are 1 3 different AQP,expressed in different tissues and organs, regulating waterand glycerol and urea and other small molecules transmembrane transport of major proteins.AQP-1 is mainly expressed in the renal proximal tubule and Henle’s loop drop bronchiole epithelial cell apical membrane and basement membrane,is responsible for the reabsorption of renal tubular water molecules. The expression of AQP-1 can be changed when the kidney is damaged or damaged,so it is very important to study the mechanism of AQP-1 for understanding the pathogenesis of water metabolism and the treatment of clinical water metabolism.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(42):-
Optic nerve is composed by the axonal of retinal ganglion cells, there are no Schwann cells around it,and optic nerve belongs to the central nervous,so it cannot regenerate when injuried. In 1985 So and Aguayo have made a success in peripheral nerve retinal transplant, which completely changes the concept that optic nerve injury cannot regenarate. Currently nerve injury recovry has following several methods: use of neurotrophic factor, such as nerve growth factor, ciliary neurotrophic factor and brain-derived neurotrophic factor, etc. These factors could promote the regeneration and repair of retinal ganglion cells; treatment of gene correction and gene regulation,by changing the expression of host gene, reduce the effect due to the disease, slow the progress of the disease course or provide protection against the disease; neural stem cell transplantatin and tissue-engineered Schwann cell transplantion. But these treatments are still at the stage of animal experiment, how timely and effctively reduce the apoptosis and increase the survival rate of ganglion cells, even further promote nerve regeneration and recovery, there is still not a perfect method so far.

Objective To evaluate the applicable value of two - dimensional speckle tracking imaging on assessing the local function and coronary collateral circulation of acute myocardial ischemia in dogs. Methods Open-chest model to induce acute myocardial ischemia in 10 dogs was established by ligating their anterior descending coronary artery(LAD). Two-dimensional dynamic gray- scale images of two standard left ventricular short axis views at the levels of mitral annulus and papillary muscle were acquired for the off -line comparative analysis before the operation and 0, 30, 60, 120, 240 and 360 minutes after the operation respectively. Peak systolic circumferential strain(CS), peak systolic radial strain(RS) and left ventricular fraction shortenting(LVFS) of 12 segments at the levels of mitral annulus and papillary muscle were analyzed with QLAB software. After the lab experiment, the fresh hearts of dogs were dyed by TTC.Results ①Compared with the preoperative value , the peak systolic CS and RS of ischemia myocardial regions(anteroseptum, anterior and lateral) in left ventricular short-axis decreased significantly( P <0. 05)during 30 to 60 minutes after ligating LAD. Sixty minutes later, the peak systolic CS and RS had a tendency to return to the level before the operation, although the statistical difference was existing. The peak systolic RS and CS also decreased in certain nonischemic regions (inferolateral and inferior). But CS and RS in inferoseptal regions didn't alter significantly. ②Compared with the preoperative value,LVFS in the ischemia regions were significantly decreased( P <0.05), while nonischemic regions had no significant difference. ③The results of TTC dyeing showed that the infarcted regions in left ventricular short-axis were anteroseptum, anterior and lateral with blood supplied by LAD, which were consistent with the results of RS and CS. Conclusions RS and CS,as the parameters of myocardial strain may reflect the range and extent of acute myocardial ischemia, and the strain changes of local myocardial segments after the construction of coronary collateral circulatory.

A method based on ultra performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry ( UPLC-MS/MS) has been proposed for the determination of coccidiostat residues in chicken skin and fat. The sample was extracted with the combination of methanol, acetonitrile, and acetic acid, and cleaned-up by Sep-Pak tC18 solid phase extraction cartridge. Data acquisition under positive electrospray mode was performed by applying multiple reaction monitoring for both identification and quantification. The limits of detection and quantification for halofuginone and robenidine were 7 μg/kg and 20 μg/kg, respectively. The limit of detection of salinomycin, monensin, narasin, maduramicin, and lasalocid was 5 μg/kg, and limit of quantification was 15 μg/kg. The recovery was 75% to 110% in the spiked concentration range from 15 μg/kg to 200 μg/kg, with intra-day precision lower than 12. 8%, and inter-day precision lower than 13 . 4%.

? amyloid protein(A?) including A?40 and A?42 are the important bioactive substances in vivo.Their toxic and beneficial attributes in the body depend on its concentration. The brain A? level is maintained by two balances under the physiological condition. The first balance is the generation involved in ?-secretase and ?-secretase and the degradation involved in neprilysin(NEP) and insulin-degrading enzyme(IDE) of A?. The second one is the balance between the receptor for advanced end glycation products(RAGE)-mediated influx and low-density lipoprotein receptor related protein 1(LRP1)-mediated efflux of A? across the blood-brain barrier(BBB).Breakdowning any one of the two balances would result in the aggregation and precipitation of A? in the brain, which is a crucial event in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease(AD).This paper reviews the regulation of brain A? level under the physiological condition and the reducing strategies on the level of brain A? under the pathological condition for developing new drugs in the treatment of AD.

Journal of China Medical University 2001;30(1):59-60,63
Objective:Our aim was to investigate the proportion of autosomal recessive (AR) inheritance among families with patients with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) and clinical feature in patients with AR form of DMD. Methods:A total of 193 families was studied, 8 of them with at least one girl with “DMD - like” phenotype and 185 with only boys with this kind of phenotype. Based on the number of families with at least one affected girl and the number of patients per sibship among these pedigrees, the proportion of families with DMD inherited as an AR trait was estimated. The clinical examination, family history and serum creatine-kinase were studied in 11 patients diagnosed as AR form of DMD. Results: The proportion of families with AR form of DMD was estimated as 9.4%. The average age of being able to walk is (1.47±1.00) year, serum creatine-kinase levels were (2785.10±1500.29) U/L. The clinical symptom occurred at the average age of (8.11±4.32) year in patients with AR form of DMD. Conclusion: The AR form of muscular dystrophy and DMD not be distingushed clinically. Some families with only affected boys diagnosed as typical DMD, in fact, have the AR form of the disease. This study is very useful for genetic consulting.
