Objective To study the presence of microflammation state in ESRD patients and the relationship between microinflammation state and atherosclerosis. Methods Inflammatory cytokines and carotid artery B ultrasound data of 246 ESRD patients and 43 cases with normal renal function as control were collected. The presence of microflammation state and its relationship to atherosclerosis were studied. Results The levels of inflammatory cytokines(CRP,IL 6,TNF ?)in ESRD patients were mostly in normal range, but still much higher than those in control.According to the level of CRP,the patients were divided into three groups.Significant differences of carotid artery B ultrasound and prevalence of cerebrocardiovasculer events were found between two groups with CRP levels less and higher than 4 mg/L. According to the history of atherosclerosis cerebrocardiovasculer disease, patients were divided into two groups. Levels of CRP, IL 6, TNF ?were higher in patients with cerebrocardiovasculer disease than those in patients without, but still in normal range. Conclusions There is a microinflammation status in ESRD patients. The microinflammation status may be a risk factor of high prevalence and mortality of atherosclerosis related cardiovascular events in ESRD patients.

Objective To investigate the menstruation status of reproductive age women of Han Nationality in Liaoning province. Methods From Apr. 2008 to Dec. 2008, 1611 women at age of 19-45 years from Shenyang, Yingkou, Benxi, Zhangwu were enrolled in this study according to epidemiologic cluster sampling method. The study was performed by questionnaire consisting of age of menarche, regularity of menstruatinn, menstrual cycle and dysmenorrhea, et al. Results In the survey of 1611 women, the average menarche age is 14.4 years old, there were significant difference on menarche between (14.2±1.5) years in women from city and (14.6±1.5) years in women from country (t=6. 58, P<0.01). The linear regression statistic method was used to analyze the relationship between age and menarehe age, the linear regression equation was gotten as Y=0. 074X+11. 855, which means 1 year increase was associated with decrease by 0.074 years in mennrche age approximately. About 86.34% (1391/1611) of women have normal and regular menstrual cycle at range of 21 to 35 days, while 11.05% (178/1611) of women have longer menstrual cycle(>35 days) and 2.61% (42/1611) of women have shorter menstrual cycle (<21 days). Of which 65.67% (1058/1611) women have regular menstrual cycle just after menarche, 94. 97% (1530/1611) of women would have regular menstruation in 2 years after menarche. The rate of dysmenorrhea was 42.09% (678/1611), of which 13.6% (92/678) women have high severe pelvic pain. Conclusion Our results suggested that the trend went toward younger ages of menarche, which was younger menarche age in women from city than country. About 95% women would have regular menstrual cycle within 2 years after menarcbe.

Objective To construct the theoretical framework of rehabilitation big data based on International Classification of Func-tioning,Disability and Health(ICF). Methods Drawing upon international rehabilitation policy documents, such as the World Health Organization's Rehabili-tation in health systems;Rehabilitation in health systems:guide for action;Rehabilitation indicator menu:a tool accompanying the Framework for Rehabilitation Monitoring and Evaluation(FRAME);Template for Rehabilita-tion Information Collection(TRIC):a tool accompanying the Systematic Assessment of Rehabilitation Situation(STARS);and Framework and Standards for Country Health Information Systems;this study examined the com-position and function of rehabilitation big data. The content structure of the rehabilitation big data domain was an-alyzed using the World Health Organization Family of International Classifications(WHO-FICs).Furthermore,the generation patterns of rehabilitation big data was constructed drawing on the Health Metrics Network and big data hierarchical classification. Results Within the six primary elements of the health service system, the information system element was particularly significant, encompassing a substantial branch known as rehabilitation big data. There were three components of rehabilitation big data:health condition,health-related factors and health services. The content framework for this data was derived from the WHO-FICs framework, which covered three dimensions:health and function,dis-ease and function, and disease, function and intervention.A comprehensive model for generating and applying re-habilitation big data in rehabilitation services was developed in line with the requirements for constructing big da-ta architectures. The sources of this data included population censuses, social registration information, population surveys, resources, services and personal records. The result chain of rehabilitation big data encompassed five major processes:input, process, output, outcome and impact. The processing and utilization of this data involved collection, storage, management, analysis and application. Conclusion A theoretical framework for rehabilitation big data has been constructed based on the ICF theory.

Objective To investigate the effect of rehabilitation on memory deficits after acquired brain injury, to compare different training models of memory rehabilitation and to analyze the possible factors affecting memory rehabilitation. Methods 144 patients with acquired brain injury following memory deficits were randomly assigned to computer-assisted training group, face-to-face training group and control group. Both training groups were given memory-based cognitive training program once a day which sustained 30 minutes for 6 or 12 weeks. The instantaneous memory, short-term memory and long-term memory were evaluated and compared before and after training. The effect of gender, age, education, course, site of injury and coma time on training efficacy were analyszed as well. Results 6 weeks and 12 weeks at training, both computer-assisted and face-to-face training groups showed a significant improvement in memory abilities when compared to controls (P<0.01), with the former making more progress (P<0.01). Negative correlation was found between age and memory performance. Conclusion Effectiveness of memory rehabilitation is proven. 12 weeks training can significantly improve memory. Cognitive training using professional equipment is significantly more effective than the face-to-face training and should be recommended.

Objective:
To compare the prevalence of dental caries and periodontal disease in patients with end-stage renal disease treated with maintenance hemodialysis with that in healthy controls and to investigate the relationship between end-stage renal disease, dental caries and periodontal disease.
Methods :
A total of 82 maintenance hemodialysis patients who met the inclusion criteria were selected as the case group, and 86 healthy persons who underwent oral examination in the physical examination center were selected as the control group. Dental caries and periodontal conditions were examined in the two groups. The dental caries examination was conducted by determining the number of decayed-missing-filled teeth, which was recorded as recommended by the World Health Organization. The periodontal condition parameters included the plaque index, calculus index, bleeding on probing, periodontal pocket depth and clinical attachment loss.
Results:
The prevalence of dental caries in the case group and healthy control group was 87.8% and 81.4%, respectively, and there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups (P > 0.05). The periodontal indexes, including the plaque index, calculus index, probe bleeding index, periodontal pocket depth and clinical attachment level, in the case group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05), and the prevalence of periodontitis in the case group was significantly higher than that in the control group (97.6% vs 88.4%, P < 0.05).
Conclusion
The dental caries conditions were comparable between the case group and the control group, but the prevalence and severity of periodontitis were significantly higher in the case group than in the control group.
