Objective To find out the relativity of diseases and emotional factors,provide foundation for the clinical epidemiologic survey,and to know about the doctors understanding of emotional etiology.Method Consulting to the diagnostic criterion of emotional diseases,whole-team-delamination method was adopted to research 54 703 registered case history of retrospective etiology in hospitals(Established Hospital of Shandong Province,Jinan City Central Hospital,TCM Hospital of Shandong Province) within 3 years.Result The cases that was related to emotions were totally 506,0.92% of all the cases.Of all the positive cases,62.5% of them were cardicvascular diseases,12.06% were digestive diseases,3.56% were gynecologic diseases.Of all the emotional etiology,agitation was 43.87%,anger was 25.69%.Female patients took up 56.72% of all the positive cases.Conclusion Cardiovascular diseases are more related to negative emotions,the basic emotion"anger"is more related to diseases,female is prior to male patients,age is of positive correlation of the occurrence of emotional diseases.

Low-frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) is a non-invasive brain stimulation method that has been used in the treatments of stroke patients. Our purpose was to investigate the effects of low-frequency rTMS on the hand motor function recovery for stroke patients. After searching from electronic database from January 1990 to April 2012, we collected randomized controlled trials explored the low-frequency rTMS effects on the hand motor function rehabilitation. A total of 7 comparisons (N = 216) from 5 articles were included in this study. We summarized the effect size by calculating the standardized mean difference (SMD). Summary of effect size (SES) indicated positive effects of low-frequency rTMS on the finger motor ability (SMD = 0.58) and hand function (SMD = -0.98). Few adverse effects occurred. The evidence showed that low-frequency rTMS could improve the paretic hand recovery after stroke.

Sixty-eight cases undergoing living related renal transplantation in First Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University between April 2004 and August 2007 were selected.The informed consent was obtained from the donors and recipients.The clinical data about operation assistance were retrospectively analyzed,including the pre-operation air sterilization in operation room,preparation of apparatus,one-off utensils and medicine,donor position fixation,assistance in kidney perfusion and preparation,management and usage of medicines,and steps of assistance during operation by instrument nurse.The results show the operational apparatus and utensils were prepared well,and the nurses knew well operation process and worked in harmony with the surgeons.For the 68 donor kidneys,the warm ischemic time was 1-6 minutes,and cold ischemic time was 10-118 minutes.The operations for both donors and recipients ran smoothly and lasted for 2.5-4 hours.Blood loss was less than 200 mL.Vital signs were stable during operation,and no complications happened.Good pre-operative preparation,strict management of personnel participating in operation,and training of assistant techniques are the preconditions for operation assistance.Rigorous aseptic management and correct preservation of organs are the keys for assistance for living donor kidney transplantation.Short warm and cold ischemic time of the donor kidneys are of great importance for the success of operation and the long-term survival of transplanted patients.

Objective To explore the effects of Kangshuaiyizhi capsule on ChAT/AchE and NE, DA and 5-HT levels in the brain tissue of aging model rats, and explore its effect of protecting cerebral function. Methods Totally 72 rats were randomly divided into normal group and model group. The subacutely aging model rats were made by injecting D-gal (0.125 g/kg) into abdominal cavity continually, then aging rats were divided by random number table into model group, Naofukang group and Kangshuaiyizhi high-, low-dose group. After intervented with correspongding drugs for 60 days, activity of ChAT and AchE, cerebral cortex NE, DA, and 5-HT levels were detected. Results Activity of AchE was much higher (P<0.05), but level of ChAT, NE, DA and 5-HT in model group were significantly downregulated compared with normal group (P<0.05). After treated with Kangshuaiyizhi capsule, activity of AchE was downregulated, ChAT, NE, DA and 5-HT levels were significantly upregulated (P <0.01, P <0.05). Conclusion Kangshuaiyizhi capsule can regulate cholinergic and monoamine neurotransmitter levels in the brain tissue of aging model rats, and play a very important role in protecting cerebral function.

ObjectiveTo perform pharmacology problem-based learning (PBL) and evaluate its effects.MethodsPBL was performed for the clinical medicine class of grade 2007 and the satisfactory degree of students to teaching effects was observed with questionnaire. Results The students thought that PBL teaching had substantial contents and proper schedule and increased learning interest. Students' participating degree, mutual communication and controlling discussion procedure were fine,which reached the expected learning objective. ConclusionsThe effects of PBL teaching were excellent and most of our students could accept it.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the IL-17 expression in HIV/tuberculosis-coinfected patients and its role in the pathogenesis of this coinfection.MethodsFifty-four HIV infected patients were divided into three groups:simple HIV infected group,HIV with latent tuberculosis infection (HIV+ LTBI) group and HIV coinfected with active tuberculosis (HIV+ ATB) group.The whole blood intracellular cytokine staining was performed and samples were then detected by BD FACSCanto.The expressions of CD4+ IL-17+ T cells and CD4+ IFNγ+ T cells were analyzed using FACSDiva software.Comparison between groups was done by independent sample t test.ResultsThe CD4+ T cell count and viral load among these three groups were comparable.There were no significant difference of the expression of CD4+ IL-17+ T cells between simple HIV infected group and HIV+ LTBI group (1.40 ± 1.01) ％ vs (1.29±0.86) ％,(t=0.336,P＞0.05),but both of these two groups were much higher than HIV+ATB group (t=3.680,t=2.516,P＜0.05).There were no significant differences of the expression of CD4+ IFNγ+ T cells among these three groups [(32.8±24.0)％ vs (40.3±1 21.9) ％ vs (46.1±31.2)％,(t=-0.939,t=-1.602,t=-0.646,P＞0.05)].ConclusionThe Th17 response is down-regulated in HIV/tuberculosis-coinfected patients,which may play an important antitubercular role in the pathogenesis of coinfection.

Objective To develop an ELISA(Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay)diagnostic kit for early rapid detection of sarum anti-EV71 antibody and evaluate its clinical application value.Methods Recombinant protein VP1 of EV71 were prepared and purified as an immobilized antigen for establishment of an indirect ELISA for detection of serum anti-EV71 IgM and anti-EV71 IgG.Compared with RT-PCR.isolation of EV71 and micro-neutralizing assay.the clinical application value of anti-EV71 IgM and anti-EV71 ISG in the diagnosis of EV71 disease was evaluated.Results In comparison with RT-PCR.the sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value and negative predictive value of anti-EV71 IgM antibody were 83%,85%,81%and 87%,respectively.The sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value and negative predictive value of anti-EV71 IgG antibody were 72%,74%,68%and 77%.respectively.Compared with viral isolation assay.the sensitivity and specificity of anti-EV71 IgM antibody were 85%and 97%,respectively.The sensitivity and specificity of anti-EV71 IsG antibody were 75%and 77%,respectively.In addition.the titers of anti-EV71 IgG antibody were significantly correlated with the titers of neutralizing antibody to EV71 by linear regression analysis(r=0.72,P＜0.05).Finally,the serum titers of anti-IgG from patients with EV71 associated hand food and mouth disease at convalescent stage exhibited significantly higher than that of the same patients at acute stage(P＜0.01),but the titers of anti-IgM had no significant difference(P＞0.05).Conclusions With VP1 recombinant protein used as an immobilized antigen,an indirect ELISA diagnostic kit was successfully develooed for detection of serum anti-human EV71 IgM and anti-human EV71 IgG antibodies.

Objective To investigate the effect of Yiqi Jianpi herb on content of NPY, VIP and expression of Mapk14 mRNA of rats with spleen-qi deficiency. Methods Rats were randomly divided into normal groups, model group (observed on 7 d, 14 d and 21 d), treatment group of Yiqi Jianpi herb, 10 rats in each group. The spleen-qi deficient model rats were made by rhubarb, exhaustive and hungry method, and treatment group was treated with Sijunzi decoction (20 g/kg) for 21 d, then the content of NPY, VIP in serum and small intestine were evaluated with radioimmunoassay, and expression of Mapk14 mRNA in small intestine tissue was evaluated with real time fluorescent quantitative PCR. Results In model group, content of NPY was much lower than that of normal group (P<0.05), content of VIP and relative expression of Mapk14 mRNA in small intestine tissue were much higher than that of normal group (P<0.05), the difference was obvious in 21 d group. Compared with model 21 d group, content of NPY was increased (P<0.05), content of VIP and relative expression of Mapk14 mRNA in small intestine tissue were decreased (P<0.05) in treatment group. Conclusion Yiqi Jianpi herb has functions of adjusting NPY, VIP secretion and inhibiting abnormal expression of Mapk14 mRNA.
