Objective To investigate the effect of propofol on the response of spinal cord to pain stimulation induced by intraplantar injection of formalin Methods Thirty SD rats of both sexes weighing 200 250g were randomly divided into six groups Pain stimulation was produced by subcutaneous injection of formalin (2 5%100?l) into the plantar region of unilateral front paw Group F received intraplantar injection of formalin only (n=6);group FP received intraperitoneal propofol 100?g?kg -1 10min after formalin injection (n=6); group PF received formalin injection 10min after intraperitoneal propofol 100?g?kg -1 (n=6); group P received intraperitoneal propofol 100?g?kg -1 only; group FS received intraperitoneal normal saline 10ml?kg -1 10min after formalin injection; and group S received intraperitoneal normal saline 10ml?kg -1 only 1 h after last injection (intraperitoneal or intraplantar) the animals were anesthetized and cervical spinal cord (where sensory nerves from front paw enter) was removed and sliced and examined for fos expression in the spinal cord using fos immunohistochemistry technique Results After formalin injection large numbers of fos like immunoreactive neurons (FLINs) were found in the ipsilateral dorsal horn Most of FLINs were confined to the medial part of outer area of laminal I and II Intraperitoneal propofol injected either before or after formalin stimulation significantly suppressed fos expression in all laminal (P
2.The value of mucin 7 in the detection of bladder cancer

Objective To investigate the diagnosis value of mucin 7 in plasma and urine in the detection of bladder cancer.Methods Expression of mucin 7 was detected quantitatively in plasma and urine from 23 patients with bladder cancer and 23 patients as control group by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) from November 2012 to September 2013.There were 15 were male and 8 were female in the 23 bladder cancer patients,aged from 41 to 95 years,with an average of 64 years.Of the 23 bladder cancer pathology,12 with high grade,11 with low grade,11 with invasive disease and 12 with noninvasive disease.There were 19 males and 4 females in the 23 patients in control group,aged from 28 to 85 years,with an average of 61 years.Results The amount of mucin 7 in plasma was significantly higher in bladder cancer group than that in control group [(7.43±4.54) ng/ml versus (4.55±.1.98) ng/ml,P=0.017].While there was no significant difference in urine between the two groups [(12.44±7.1 1) ng/ml versus (11.96±8.41)ng/ml,P=0.840].There was no significant differences in the amount of mucin 7 had in different grades and stages of bladder cancer (P>0.05).Conclusions Expression of mucin 7 in plasma of patients with bladder cancer is significantly higher than that in control group.Mucin 7 expression has no significant correlation with the grading and staging of bladder cancer.Detecting mucin 7 expression quantitatively with ELISA for diagnosis of bladder cancer is a method with certain value.

Objective To observe the effect of extract of Coprinus comatus on small intestinal propulsion and gastric emptying function in mice.Methods Effect of extract of Coprinus comatus at different doses on small intestinal propulsion and gastric emptying function was observed in normal mice,neostigmine-load mice and epinephrine-load mice by charcoal powder method and by modified phenol red method respectively.Results The small intestinal propulsion of normal mice was promoted by the extract of Coprinus comatus at the doses of 3.0,6.0,9.0 and 12.0 g/kg,and the gastric emptying function of normal mice was promoted by the extract of Coprinus comatus at the doses of 1.5,3.0,6.0,9.0 and 12.0 g/kg,the difference being significant as compared with the normal group (P

Objective To explore the diagnostic significance of CT and MRI in dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans.Methods Analyze the CT and MRI images of 16 cases which were confirmed as dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans by pathology.The medical imaging features of dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans were summarized.In the total 16 cases(including 6 male cases,10 female cases),15 cases had suffered from dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans for more than 1 year, 11 cases for more than 5 years, and 9 cases had history of recurrence.Results On MRI, the mass was slightly hypointense on T 1 WI, inhomogeneously hyperintense on T 2 WI with inhomogenous enhancement.The diameters of mass were less than 5 cm in 3 cases,and were more than 5cm in 13 cases.Fifteen cases had clear demarcation between the masses and their adjacent muscles , 7 cases had “suspension sign” in shapes, 10 cases had “sub-nodules outward” features at the edge of the tumors , 12 cases had “multinodular” features inside the tumor , and 8 tumors grew into the surrounding fat layer like roots.Conclusion Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans can be diagnosed accurately based on the features displayed on CT and MRI.

The article aimed to explore the implementation of systemic integrated new clinical medical teaching mode and the functions of basic medicine specialty module teaching on innovative talents training.It showed that the implementation of systemic integrated new medical teaching mode was facilitated to build up a platform for the training of innovative talents.And the application of the integrated method to teaching was beneficial to develop the creative thinking of medical students.
