Objective To study the effect of lactate of differentconcentration on the action potential of ventricular papillary muscle cell (n=4) and contractile force (n=10).Method Using intracellular microelectrode technique and microtension depicting method.Result The Result showed the effect of lactated solution of a certain comcentration became obvious. After perfused with lactate solution of 4mmol/L,the vilocity maximum decreased significantly (p<0.05) showed the 4mmol/L lactate solution decreased the rate of depolarization: decreased the efficency of Na + channel; lactate solution decreased the contractile force of cardiac muscle. Conclusion The possible mechanism was: Ca+ influx and Na+ - H+ exchange were inhibited, resulted in the elevation of intracellular H+ concentration; through Na+-Ca2+ exchange, Ca2+ efflux decreased resulted in the intracellular Ca2+ decreased resulted in the intracellular Ca2+ overload.

It is to investigate the effect of two kinds of Houttuynia Cordata Injection on preventing and treating H1N1 influenza virus infection in mice. Pneumonia model was set up by intranasal infection of the normal and immunocompromised mice with influenza virus FM1 and PR8. The two injections were administered before and after the administration of virus, separately, and the lung index was observed. The results showed that the two preparations have obvious therapeutic effect on normal mice infected with influenza virus FM1 and PR8. And to FM1, the new injection's effect is better at small dosage. The results also showed that the two preparations have obvious prophylactic effect on immunodepressed mice infected with influenza virus FM1 and PR8. And to PR8, the old injection's effect is better at small dosage. Houttuynia Cordata Injection can improve the mice pneumonia caused by influenza virus H1N1 and decrease the lung index markedly. It has a remarkable preventive and therapeutic effect on H1N1 influenza virus in mice.

Objective To seek a optimization method for lung cancer planning with Helical TomoTherapy for reducing the low dose area of total lung. Methods CT images of thirty patients with unilateral lung cancer were selected.Seven plans (Groups A,B,C,D,E,F and G) were generated for each patient using an identical optimization procedure with the conditions that implemented contralateral lung with unblocked (control group),1/4 directional block,1/2 directional block, directional block,1/4 complete block,1/2 complete block and complete block, respectively. The benefits in different schemes of reducing the low dose area of normal lung tissue were estimated,in order to provide a reference treatment plan scheme in clinical. Results Groups B,C,D and E had less influence on the target than that of group A.And there were no statistical difference between the target dosimetric parameters. The median dose and average dose of group F were increased within 0.5 Gy.The conformal index of group G had great influence on the target. The low dose area of total lung were reduced effectively in Groups C,D,E,F and G,the average decrease of V5 and V10 was 8.06%-45.26% and 6.21%-33.95%,respectively.The V20 decreased by 1.71%-3.78% in directional block group, while V20 increased in complete block group (2.07%-5.07%).The single treatment time was increased by 8.51%-79.22%.Conclusions The results showed that the low dose area of total lung was higher for the plan without any block limitation. It could reduce the low dose area of total lung with directional block. We should lengthen the blocking arc of contralateral lung with directional block based on the fractional treatment time and the patient's physical condition.A certain arc of contralateral lung with complete block could effectively reduce low dose area. When complete block was used,it is suggested that the arc was no more than half of the contralateral lung.

BACKGROUND:Anticancer drug and organic metal complexes wil form a new structure or a change in ion concentration, thus changing both the activity and toxicity to produce a synergistic effect. OBJECTIVE:To synthesize new high-efficient and low-toxic metal-fluorouracil complexes as anticancer drugs. METHODS:Copper, zinc and iron salts and fluorouracil were used to synthesize four copper, zinc and iron-fluorouracil complexes that were [Cu(5-Fu)2Cl2], [Cu(5-Fu)2(NO3)2], [Fe(5-Fu)3]SO4 and [Zn(5-Fu)2Cl2]. Preliminary chemical structures of the four complexes were confirmed by elemental analysis and mass spectrometry. Their inhibitory activity on human cancer cells, human leukemia cellline K562 and human colon cancer cellline HCT-116, was measured by MTT colorimetric assay. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:[Cu(5-Fu)2Cl2], [Cu(5-Fu)2(NO3)2], [Zn(5-Fu)2Cl2] and [Fe(5-Fu)3SO4] were successful y synthesized. These four complexes at a mass concentration of 0.1-100 mg/L inhibited the proliferation of K562 and HCT-116 to different extents. The IC 50 values of these four complexes on K562 and HCT-116 cells were lower than those of fluorouracil, and their cytotoxicity was 1.5-7.8 times higher than that of fluorouracil. To conclude, copper/iron/zinc-fluorouracil complexes exhibit synergic inhibitory effects on cancer cellproliferation.
