3. Preoperative CTA evaluation on renal arteriovenous anatomy and tumor thrombi of massive renal carcinoma

Objective To observe the value of renal artery plus renal vein CTA in preoperative evaluation on renal arteriovenous anatomy and tumor thrombi of massive renal carcinoma. Methods Renal artery + renal vein CTA obtained with 256-slice spiral CT of 56 patients with renal carcinoma confirmed by postoperative pathology were retrospectively analyzed, and the images were reconstructed. The anatomical situation of renal artery and renal vein, the location and type of tumor thrombi were observed and compared with surgical operation findings. Results All 56 patients had single tumor, located in the left kidney in 26 cases, while in the right kidney in 30 cases. The maximum diameter of tumor was 71-144 mm ([84.33±20.59]mm). There was no significant difference of the variation rate between the healthy side and the affected side of renal arteries nor veins (all P>0.05). CTA showed totally 117 tumor feeding arteries, while 118 tumor feeding arteries were found during operation, and the coincidence rate was 99.15% (117/118). CTA showed 69 draining veins, so did surgical operation, and the coincidence rate was 100% (69/69). CTA showed tumor thrombi infiltrating renal vein in 5 cases (5/56, 8.93%), infiltration of renal vein and inferior vena cava in 9 cases (9/56, 16.07%), including 5 cases of Mayo type 0, 3 cases of type , 4 cases of type Ⅱ, 2 cases of type III, whereas 42 cases (42/56, 75,00%) were found without infiltrating renal vein. Conclusion Preoperative renal artery plus renal vein CTA can accurately evaluate renal arteriovenous anatomy and location and type of tumor thrombi of renal mass renal carcinoma.

6.Arthroscopic Repair for Medial Meniscus Tear:a Case Report of a 4-year-old Boy

[Summary] This paper reported a case of 4-year-old boy suffered with medial meniscus tear treated by arthroscopic repair in our hospital.After the boy injured his knee , plaster was applied for 4 weeks.Without any symptomatic progress , he was hospitalized with the diagnosis of medial meniscus tear .We performed arthroscopic meniscus repair , using 4.0-mm arthroscopy.At 3-month follow-up, the boy could full-bearing walk with no pain or discomfort , with a range of motion of 0°-135°.The post-operational MRI at the fourth month showed preliminary healing of repaired meniscus .We believe that regular arthroscopic instruments can accomplish meniscus repair in young children .
7.Detemination of Organochlorine Pesticides in Drinking Water by Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectra-Mass Spectra

Objective To develop a method for the determination to organochlorine pesticides by gas chromatography-mass spectra-mass spectra.Methods The temperature of inlet was 250 ℃,the injection volume was 1 ?l,without split injection.The temperature of EI source was 300 ℃,the ionization energy was 70 eV,solvent delay time was 3.75 min,transfer line temperature was 280 ℃.181,235,246(m/z)were selected as parent ion,and 145,165,176(m/z)were sub ion.Results In the range of 0-50 ?g/L,every component had a good linearity,r≥0.99,the limit of detection≤0.01 ?g/L.Its average rate of recovery was in the range of 86.1%-101.8%,and the relative standard deviations(RSDs) were between 4.41%-8.07%.Conclusion Gas chromatography-mass spectra-mass spectra is more precise for the qualitative and quantitative determination of trace organochlorine pesticides residues in drinking water.

RESULTS: Zero Inventory can help save precious hospital resources, streamline pharmacy management and ensure quality of decoction pieces supply. Objective To determine in vitro susceptibility of itroconazole,voriconazole,caspofungi,and amphotericin B against 82 clinical strains of filamentous fungi.Methods Etest method was used to test the in vitro susceptibilities of itroconazole,voriconazole,caspofungi,and amphoteriin B against aspergillus fumigatus,A.flavus,A.niger,A.terreus,A.nidulans,et al.Results The MIC range of 4 antifungal agents were 0.03~2.00 mg/L and 0.01~32.00 mg/L against A.fumigatus and A.flavus,respectively.But amphotericin B had higher MIC90 value which was 16mg/L against A.flavus than A.terreus(MIC90 3.00 mg/L),A.fumigatus(MIC90 0.75 mg/L),and A.niger(MIC90 0.25 mg/L).Conclusion Itroconazole,voriconazole,caspofungi,and amphotericin B have different susceptibility patterns against various types of filamentous fungi.It's necessary to identify fungi to level of species and perform antifungal susceptibility test in serious patients.
